  I installed a new pair of bars of memory a few days I've been troubled havining of memory. Everything seemed fine for 2-3 days and then the laptop started running very slowly. I thought I'd launched a test of memory in Windows 7, is it on 2 pass test, so I started it again. Then the laptop is dead and when I rebooted (I noticed it was hot, so I left it 10 minutes) he said that he had closed the temp was at 90 C.

  Hi, I recently acquired a new AMD Sempron 145 AM3 CPU and I'm curious to know if it will go up and start in my Compaq Presario SR5413WM desktop PC. The motherboard, an AM2 ASUS M2N68-(Ivy8), is quoted in support of all Sempron processors. My concern is if this claim applies only to the Sempron AM2 processors and there isn't any CPU 45nm in the supported list. I am certain that the Sempron AM3 will be physically mount the socket AM2, support my DDR2 RAM, and it also has the same TDP as my current stock Athlon-1640, encouraging information.

  I've posted on other forums autour and have been Googling as much as possible understand this point, but have only found little conclusive information about my specific situation. Please help if its not too much trouble. Good day!

  It is very unlikely that the BIOS update will allow an AM3 CPU to work properly in your socket AM2 Motherboard HP.

  It won't hurt to try as long you do the update correctly.

  Don't forget, reinstall the socket AM2 CPU to perform the BIOS update

  I have a MBP 15 "mid 2015 16G with AMD R9 M370X i7.

  I've been running bootcamp with Windows 10 installation for about a month now without any problems.  However, yesterday 10 Windows started and has been blocked in a black screen (before any screen logo or connection win) with the CPU works hard and hot.

  1. I tried to restart some time hold button / stop and start with the option key, key and then selecting the windows bootcamp partition but it drove the same black screen with CPU hot work in the background.

  2. I can always start OSX fine during this period.

  I have a Compaq 500 b MT, that came from the factory with 1 GB of RAM and a processor Intel Celeron E3200 CPU.  I upgraded my memory to two sticks of 2 GB Kingston DDR3 1600 RAM, which worked perfectly for a while.  I then upgraded my CPU to an Intel Pentium E6500 CPU processor (supported), and when the start he gave me a code beep RAM (1 short, 1 long, 3 second pause) error.  I bought 2 sticks of memory PNY thinking I have fried my other sticks.  Same beep code.

  To make a long story short, I tried all possible combinations of the two processors and the three types of memory. The only time wherever I could get the Pentium E6500 to start was with the factory installed 1 GB memory.  It would give errors of memory with any of the other 2 GB sticks, even when considered individually.  Celeron CPU works very well with them.
