Why is it not this processor just to buy work?

My product information:

Model #: p6208f

Product #: AV016AA-ABA

Serial No.: [personal information]

Software Build #: 94NAv6PrA3

Service ID #: 012-210PCBRAND: Pavilion

My motherboard is a violet of pegatron corporation 3.02

http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01635734

This is a link to the page with my motherboards processor upgrade information.

The new processor, I bought:

AMD Phenom II X 4 980 Black Edition Deneb 3.7 GHz 4 x 512 KB L2 Cache 6 MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Desktop Processor HDZ980FBGMBOX

When he set and turn on my computer says "compatible processor extinguish." Why it does not, according to upgrade its supposed to work, right?

You can buy another motherboard, but most probably, you will lose your ability to use the operating system installed by HP. He will have to pick up a copy of the operating system from a retailer.

You could also see about buying a motherboard of HP OEM as the Violet6. This m/b is like 95 + % identical to the violet but it takes in only AM3 CPU load but it will not be cheap;

This motherboard supports only the AM3 processors
Supported memory is limited to DDR3 modules only.
HyperTransport 3.0
Split power planes allow the management of the separate power supply for the CPU and controller memory integrated for improved energy savings.
Compatible with the following processors:
AMD Phenom II X 4 9xx/9xxe/8xx Quad-Core (Deneb)
AMD Phenom II X 3 Triple-Core (Heka) 7xx/7xxe
AMD Phenom II X 2 5xx (Callisto)
AMD Athlon II X 4 6xx/6xxe (undactylopodite)
AMD Athlon II X 3 4xx/4xxe (Rana)
AMD Athlon II X 2 2xx/2xxe (Regor)

  • Why have I not this little space on my C drive?

    I just did a disk cleanup and even a sigverif just to be sure. I also went through and deleted tons of things on my computer that I don't have. Now, I'm down for the most part. Microsoft Office, CCleaner, Kingsoft Antivirus and some Java and Adobe add ons. So why only should I 3.83 GB off 73.0 GB left? I went and manually deleted some temporary files like eula.1028 and instal.res.1028.dll and vs_red as disk cleanup did not. After I did it, I went from having 4.05 GB of free space to 3.83 GB of free space. Disk Cleanup had freed me .02GB of space and I thought it was helping until I manually deleted these temporary files and now its display I have less space. Then why they have so little space and why my space went down when I manually deleted temporary files? FYI, I have only a small folder of word documents and images. I don't have videos or music on my lap top. Its a Toshiba and its quite old, but my tech guy put Windows 7 on it. I wonder if maybe it's too much for an old laptop? If I'm not mistaken it is maybe a 2007.

    Too bad. Apparently my tech guy left a windows.old folder on the computer when he last helped me. Who has released a TON of space.

    Nancy - these are great, thank you. So no idea why these rejections are not centered?

    Because you asked that ALL of the text inside thecells to align to the left:

    body, td, th {}
    do-family: "Trebuchet MS", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    do-size: 11pt;
    Color: #333;
    text-align: left;
    }

    If you want the text of the link to the Center, you have two options:

    (1) remove td, the above css selector.

    (2) gives the table that links are inserted in an 'id' (see below)

    Then add the below css to your css stylesheet:

    #nav td {}
    text-align: center;
    }

    Why do I get "this copy of Windows is not genuine. Build 7601, Windows 7 "? Windows was preinstalled on my computer when I bought 7 years ago. This message just started yesterday.

    The label on the bottom of my laptop is worn and unreadable. I prepare some restore disks when I bought it all first.

    Also, is it safe to use with this message? I am more sensitive to the virus and malware?

    When I ran the MGADia.exe, I received the following:

    I get a message that I don't have the latest version of Firefox. I just updated and downloaded the Beta Version 11. Why do I get this message?

    The current beta version is 12 of Firefox, but if you're not a tester experienced, so it is best to stay with the current version of Firefox and uninstall the beta version.

    You can find the latest version of Firefox in all languages and for all systems operating here:

  • Why can I not just use DreamWeaver?

    I bought a subscription to DreamWeaver, almost a year ago, but whenever I try to open the program, it tells me that my trial period has expired. When I followed the instructions "Of this software license", he told me to open a session and wonder a serial number. When I type the serial number: exact serial number that is listed under my username and password - it tells me the serial number is not valid. Why can I not just use the software? I had to pay a monthly fee for 11 months now, and I have to go through this charade whenever I comand to use the software. Used computers for 30 years and never experienced something like that. Any advice?

    Hi JohnLynnBob,

    You must remove all the entries of Adobe since the 'hosts' file in your computer.

    The location of the hosts file is

    For windows:-C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts (open it with Notepad)

    For Mac:-Finder window Open---> click on top go---> go to folder---> Type '/ etc'---> press enter - hosts (open it with text edit)

    If you see all the entries in the hosts Adobe file delete them, save the file and then launch the product---> license this software---> identify you---> the subscription will be activated.

    Thank you

    Kapil

  • "This processor is perhaps not powerful enough" message with WS 6.5 update

    I just upgraded to 6.1 (?) to 6.5 and now my VMs give the following message is displayed at startup:

    --------------------------

    This processor is perhaps not powerful enough to run VMware Workstation with good performance.  Your estimated processing speed is 105 Mhz.  Refer to http://vmware.com/info?id=4 of the minimum requirements for this product.

    --------------------------

    The OS is XP SP3, AMD Athlon XP 64 Dual Core 4400 +

    I am aware of the Cool' not easy questions and tried to turn off the feature (via bios) but no change. I also followed the instructions given here: http://vmblog.com/archive/2007/08/24/help-vmware-fixing-time-keeping-problems-with-the-guest-os.aspx

    but again not luck.

    These virtual machines ran very well until applying the 6.5 update.

    I have attached a log of one of the virtual machines (this happens at a meeting of Arch Linux, but the problem occurs when, for example, XP SP2 as well guest).

    I see the .log file that you used the following setting in your config.ini file: host.cpukHz = 4400000.

    I do use AMD processors myself, but is it the right value to enter for your particular processor?  I thought that AMD processor names do not necessarily reflect the true values of MHz...  According to this web site ( http://products.amd.com/en-us/DesktopCPUResult.aspx ), a Athlon x 64 Dual Core 4400 + 2200 MHz to 2300 MHz works.   You might want to try using 2200000 or 2300000 in your file config.ini rather to see if that helps?

    Except that I don't know what else to think.  Maybe someone else on the forums has an idea.

    You need to activate the phone. There is nothing that the phone can not be activated.

    I need to know how to remove the most recent version of Firefox. I JUST downloaded tonight and my computer does not have this edit bar little to work with, so I can download the reader good Adobe and my internet was screwed up, since I downloaded the new version of Firefox. I want just the old version of this back because I can't download the Adobe stuff which is necessary to protect my computer against hackers apparently not. It would have been nice to know he had a problem with the new update of Firefox BEFORE I downloaded it. I have Vista, which is usually a problem with Adobe and Firefox. I don't seem to be able to run a lot of Adobe at all on my computer because of the Vista.

    This has happened

    Are you sure that the battery is compatible with your system?

    References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

    Check with support from the manufacturer of their books online and the drivers and their forums system
    (as applicable) for known issues. Some manufacturer issued BIOS and other updates to help the battery
    problems.

    In fact, what causes a lot of wear on a battery empties it too low on several occasions. With today
    systems overload are not a problem.

    Here are some tips to help and troubleshoot battery issues.

    Old battery? Unplug the power to the computer - remove the battery and clean the contacts with a pencil
