Amount of Tungsten E of memory left?

I looked at the headers when I use the computer and to the section on Plam preferences and I can't understand it.

How can I find out how much memory I have left on my palm, I use it on a Mac?

Hello and thank you for using the Palm forums.

Click the main button on your device. Then, click the top left where the time is displayed.

A dropdown list will appear. Click application, Info. Will develop a list with all the info of memory on your palm and if you have a memory card in your Palm, it will also show the amount of memory is used and how much is left. It will also specify the amount of memory each application takes over.

Click OK to exit from this screen.

I hope this has been helpful!

  • How much memory left on iPhone 5

I am running the latest OS and software on my iPhone 5 and the iMac.

When I sync the iPhone in iTunes, iThunes indicate that I'm 5.35 GB of memory left, but on the iPhone it says I have only 3.7 GB left. Why this difference?

I can't answer why, but in my experience, they never accepted. I understand that the use of the phone is the actual quantity and the use of iTunes is an estimate. If you are synchronizing amounts closer, but I had never match them.

Your question has nothing to do with iCloud. You should remove unnecessary data from your phone to free up about 10% of your phone's storage space.

  • How do I dynamically change the the number of vCPU and amount of a virtual computer memory?

    Hi all

My first question is how do I dynamically change the number of vCPU and amount of a computer virtual memory when the virtual machine is running? If so, this may be achieved by writing a few scrpits to inform the hypervisor?

My second question is, I can start a virtual machine in KVM with the number of vCPUs and amount of memory configured in the startup script. I don't know if this is supported in vmware ESXi?

I couldn't find the answer in the ESXi 5.0 user guide.

Your suggestion will be highly appreciated.

You can change the ram and the CPU, but it must be enabled.

    by default, only it isn't.

  • Laptop HP Stream: no memory left. only 4 GBs of 32 GB

Bought this computer this year.  He said 3.75 GB of disc removed 21 GB.  He continues to show little mΘmoire and tune returns constantly with messages saying that I need to transfer some of my files to another disk in order to free more disk space.  However, I searched on this computer in its entirety and the only file that I think it's

It's basically Windows that uses about 17 GB.  There is no other files on my drive that who take a lot of space.

When I'm cleaning disc, it shows that I have not anywhere near that much to clean.  In addition, he continues to estimate the amount of space that I will win rather than actually performing the cleanup task.

For Windows, it shows an OLD and a new file, a new created about a month after the old man.  ???  In addition, there is a list of "programs" and then another list of "programs", but there an x 86 behind it.  ???

I use this computer to download music purchases, processing base, social media, General searches on the internet and email correspondence.  I store all documents and music files on an external hard drive to 500 GB.

I followed the instructions on an email on this forum who was advised to change the virtual memory settings, however, virtual memory shows that he uses the maximum right now on this computer.

I have a basic understanding of the workings of computers.  Please advise on how this can be fixed.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi @ccronin61

No worries. It's good to hear that the surgery went well.

Windows.Old is seen only as a result of an upgrade. You can remove safely all the Windows.old directory. This will affect any program you have installed.

You are able to post a screenshot of what you see in Windows Explorer in the C: partition? I'll show you an example.

Yes, that would solve it for you.

  • IPhoto deleting turned off my laptop computer to free up memory

Help please - I transferred all my photos currently pictured on a stand alone disc

I would also like to keep my last holiday pictures to my lap top and remove the other albums to release the memory. Pressed delete album on the albums up to 20, but the "amount of memory left has not changed.

    Anyone has any idea why?

Second question, if I take the apple supply and store all my photos in the cloud, this will free up memory on my laptop?

    Cheers - MP

To get help, that you must first provide details since we cannot see your computer - you posted in iPhoto for Mac forum but about pictures for Mac and give no idea what OS you have - what version of the operating system you have and what software photos do you use (name and version)

In Photos or iPhoto cut an album recorded without space like albums aren't a place, but simply a way to display your photos and albums to take no space - and once again withou knowing what software you have in fact we cannot tell you precisely how to remove photos from your Mac

If you're using iPhoto where you posted then iCloud library isn't an option - if you use instead of Photos, so is and if you set it to use optimized photos it will be disc space required on your laptop, but even once unless we have details we cannot tell you all you need to know

  • My iphone is lost memory?

Yesterday, I discovered that my iphone had "no memory left" when it should be 14 concerts on the left. I have an iphone 32 GB 5. I went in the storage settings, calculated the total space my apps were taking (including photos, videos, etc.). I have at least 14 GB of space, but my iphone keeps saying it has 0 bytes left. I've removed a 2.8 gig size application yesterday, didn't do anything on my phone after that, but now im back to 0 bytes? This problem of storage space that's happened after I downloaded 9.2.1. What is going on?

Instead of using the phone to try to determine the amount of space, connect your device to the computer and iTunes. Once you have selected the device, look at the chart at the bottom of the summary page. This shows you a graph of space used in color, according to the content. How much space is taken up in others? If you deleted photos on the device, have them removed from the deleted folder recently? If this is not the case, they are still too much space on the phone. There might be one as part of update, since you indicate that has happened around the update, that a file can become corrupted backup phone. Which can be seen with the check that I have just described. Also, you turn off the phone once you have deleted this great app?

  • freeing physical memory.

I have 512 MB of total physical memory and my sys info I have 181 MB of physical memory left available shows.  I have 2 GB of virtual memory total with 1.96 GB available left. page file space 1.20 GB is.

My computer seems really slow and I did all the viruses with microsoft and webroot and its own projections. I have cleaned and defragmented disk and seems to cling to certain times and especially if you click on frown again on a page "hung up". It will giveyou the hourglass effect and will not respond. Any other suggestions to make? I have XP Edition family sp3 and all updates for windows explorer 8. Thank you!

Looks like you have lots of RAM. But if you want to double-check, skip to #4 below.

Brand and model of the PC? XP Home or Pro, or MCE? What are you doing SP level to? Have you installed XP security update patches? What security programs (antivirus, other antimalware, firewall, etc.) are you running? Are they up-to-date?

Here are the usual causes of slow:

    1. malware (malware). You need to rule out first! This page has excellent information:

    http://Web.archive.org/Web/20080610163247/http :// www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

    2. some programs aimed at combating malware (for example, Norton and McAfee). Ironically, they can slow things down because they use simply much too many resources. Sometimes they cause conflicts with other programs. And their default mode is to scan your entire hard drive whenever you start. Fortunately, there are other programs of anti-malware software available that use much less resources (p. ex., NOD32, Avast and Avira).

    3. too much of certain types of programs still running in background - with or without your consent. (Then again, a lot of programs running in the background of the consequences trivial.)

To determine each program and process, you are running, use the task (Ctrl + Alt + Delete) Manager and click the processes tab. You should be able to sort by CPU usage or memory usage for a good ideas that are resource/memory hogs. You must write the names of all the processes for future detective work (or take a snapshot and print it).

Use these sites to determine what these programs are, and learn how configure them to not always run when starting:

    http://www.PACS-portal.co.UK/startup_content.php#THE_PROGRAMS
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/startups/
    http://www.AnswersThatWork.com/Tasklist_pages/Tasklist.htm

Sometimes, it is recommended to use msconfig to configure programs to run at startup. A better, more thorough program is Autoruns:

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

But before that, you must use the settings preference of the program in question. Otherwise, for some programs, they will return to the list of startup anyway!

If you do not want to use msconfig, it can be accessed in this way:

Start | Run | Type "msconfig" (without the quotes). Enter (or OK)

    4. not enough RAM, causing the PC too rely on the pagefile. A quick way to determine if what is happening is to open (Ctrl + Alt + Delete) Task Manager, and then click the performance tab. Then the three values under Commit Charge (k) Note: in the lower left corner: Total, limit and peak.

The Total number represents the amount of memory you are using right now. The vertex figure represents the maximum amount of memory you made since the last boot. If these figures are lower than the value of the amount of physical memory (K), then you probably have lots of RAM. In case you want to study it more, you can run the Page queue Monitor for Windows XP:

    http://www.dougknox.com/XP/utils/xp_pagefilemon.htm

    5. you can also verify that the access mode of your hard drive has not changed from DMA to PIO:

  • How to restore the memory on my laptop?

My computer is showing that I have have3.80 GB of memory left out of 74 GB.  Aside from a few photos, itunes software and security, I do not understand why I have so little.  My son has in the past of games on it and to the best of my knowledge, I deleted when it has finished playing.  But can they be always stored in there?  where should I look to really memory?

This isn't memory. It's your hard disk space. They are two completely different things.

74 GB HDD is very low. Go to add/remove programs to see what can be uninstalled. As far as games are concerned, how do you remove them? Photos and Itunes can occupy a lot of space, depending on the amount of data you have in them. Only you can see your computer.

  • "Your system is running out of Application memory"

    Hello

Since last week I have been having a problem where my computer screen appears with a reading of the question 'your system has sold out of the memory of the application.' This happens around every 20-30 minutes to use my computer, where the issue is resolved by restarting my computer. However, this message appears when I have 1 or 2 applications open (including the permanent Finder application). At my computer without a doubt a lot of memory left and I installed only 5 additional applications: League of Legends, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook. I used OS X El Capitan for the first half of the week and macOS Sierra for the second half, but the upgrade did not solve my problem.

    I run:

MacBook Air (13 inch, mid 2013)

1.3 GHz Intel Core i5 processor

    DDR3 4 GB 1600 MHz memory

    Start drive Macintosh HD

Graphics Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 MB

Your system is running out of RAM, not disk space. 4 GB is the absolute minimum of RAM. Try to remove all unnecessary startup items (Preferences > users and groups > you > login items) with the key less (not simply uncheck the boxes - which hide just the app but it still works).

You can also run activity monitor (Applications > utilities) to see what is using the memory.

  • I just noticed that at the bottom of the content library, it no longer displays "new playlist" that does not mean that I did not enough memory?

When the new playlist is more to show what this means that there not enough memory left.  My hp desktop computer said I have only 931 GB left.

The new playlist option is always available under the file menu or by using the CTRL + N keyboard shortcut do not know why the button was taken away in the last update of iTunes.

You can also click anywhere on the bar of the left hand under your existing reading list if there is space, and you will see the option for the new playlist.

    I hope this helps

  • I deleted the majority of my photos from my phone but when I connect it to iTunes it always shows in the bar memory

I deleted the majority of my photos from my phone, but when I connect it to iTunes it always shows in the bar of memory and it shows that I have no memory left

You've synced the iPhone yet? It refreshes the data in iTunes.

Furthermore, if you have configured to load music you deleted or the same photos of iTunes, iTunes will put this information on the iPhone when you synchronize.

Try pressing sync and see if it changes at all.

  • can I use an external hard drive to increase the disk space and memory on xp?

I am considering an external hard drive of 1 TB to trasmet all files on the computer. There is little hard drive space and memory left. Can I use the external hard drive free space and can it will be installed via USB and use my operating system?

You can use the external hard drive to transfer your data from your internal hard drive.  Cannot move system files (such as Program Files, Windows and swap files) well.  Looks like your use of the word 'memory' made reference to disk space - it normally refers to which an external drive would not affect RAM.  If you mean disk space, however, you can certainly free SPAC drive this way.

I hope this helps.  Good luck.
