Why my old emails disappear from the cloud?
Why my old emails disappear from the cloud? After only a month or two, they are gone! (and I pay extra each month more space!)
Hello Unhappywoman,
Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!
From your post, I understand that old emails are deleted after a month. This can be due to behaviors of the mailbox defined for your iCloud account.
The following article explains how to look at these settings. My suspicion is that the section "permanently erase deleted messages when:" is set at one month old.
Use Mail preferences to set or change options for e-mail accounts , you use mail and to work with messages and mailboxes. Choose Mail > Preferences, and then click a preferences panel for the options:
Accounts: Add, remove, and disable your email accounts in mail. Use only the part of the mailbox behaviors to control how the project, junk, sent, and deleted (or "Basket") messages are stored. Advanced pane includes options for messages, attachments and more.
Set Mail preferences - help Mail
See you soon!

Phone call claiming to be from the Windows team
I just received a phone call claiming to be from the Windows team in Ontario (Canada) saying that my computer was downloading tons of things on the web, and it had infected and it was my computer. I'm guessing it's a scam?
Fake phone calls to technical support
Calls unrequested telephone of this nature are almost always a common scam. Do not let them give any info, do not give access to your PC, not give them all the money and do not go to all the websites that they suggest. One moment.
Please see:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/security/online-privacy/msname.aspx .
Microsoft issues never not solicited for phone calls of support or security.
These types of callers can use completely fictitious names or bogusly claim to be of real companies other than Microsoft as well.

Microsoft has none of the unsolicited telephone calls to help you fix your computer
In this type of scam cybercriminals are calling you and claim to be of Support technique Microsoft. They offer help with your computer problems. Once scammers have earned your trust, they try to steal and damage your computer with malicious software, including viruses and spyware.
Although the law enforcement can trace phone numbers, often authors use pay telephones, disposable cell phones or stolen cellular phone numbers. Better avoid fooling themselves rather than try to repair the damage afterwards.
Treat all unsolicited sceptically telephone calls. Don't provide personal information.
If you receive an unsolicited call from someone who claims to be from Technical Support Microsoft, hang up. We do not have such calls.
If you think you might be a victim of fraud, you can report it. For more information, see: what to do if you think you have been scammed.

Is the another way to get the download from the support section
Is there another way to get the download from the support section?
Because the download speed is very slow. For example, in the new version of the value-added packaging and its 116 MB big need. A normal download time would be approximately 5-10 minutes. But when I download from Toshiba I need 2 to 6 hours. Not good for a company that manufactures laptops and high-performance computers.
And the worst thing is that the connection is reset after a few hours... so I'll never get the update.
Does anyone know help?
Gruss
ThomasUnfortunately, he has no other way to get the Toshiba drivers from the European pilot of Toshiba page.
You are right at this moment that the file transfer is too long.
I get about 10-19KO/s. That s is really very slow.
Maybe the server is overloaded who knows I hope this will be resolved in the next time.Best regards

Dear all and Rim:
New to the BB world, need more help...
AOL mailbox to connect with 'Tour' with success, the service provided by Verizon.
Emails sent from the device are not show to AOL "Sent Box" or "IMAP" Outlook Express / outgoing server "POP" record "SMTP."
Really need copies of "Sent Box", thanks for the help!
Also try to put in place 'BIS' accout, error message says:
"Your account is not accessed through a browser HTML...".
Please use your device to access the Black Berry Internet services"
I used this link:
https://bis.na.BlackBerry.com/HTML?brand=VZW
Thank you,
Jan
For the mail issue seems to send me a copy is the only way to go, right?
This would be a solution.
And on the BRI, my test was on a PC, it did not work... Anyway, I was going to connect to the BIS to work on my question above, but seems that it does not help now, then it does not matter if I enter or not.
Well, it's quite strange... I just used who link me (from a PC) and get my BIS account very well. You can, however, use the interface for device BIS - watch this demo that I you provided above for instructions on this. BIS is simply a service provided by your operator. The PC/Web site method and device interface - these are simply two different interfaces in the same Department, so using one or the other is not serious... they cause the same thing.
Good luck!

How can I check the validity of an email allegedly from apple?
received a "Bill" for the use of cloud, but kept such a thing. Through the ' Manage/Cancel' button it asks a series of questions that slap just impersonation. How can I check if its valid please?
I doubt very seriously that it is legitimate to Apple. Do not click on links in the e-mail or enter information in any website referenced in the email.
The following bandages may be useful:
- Identification of legitimate emails from the iTunes Store - Apple Support
- Identify the fraudulent 'phishing' - Apple Support e-mail
Apple claim that suspicious e-mails called for iTunes are reported to the iTunes customer service:

Under which category is the CML download from the support portal?
I'm unable to locate downloads of LMC from the cisco support portal. What category it is in?
It seems that marketing teams should get together and decide which product it is. Here in the product support forums is listed in the Network Infrastructure. On the cisco.com site, it is listed under the clouds and management systems.
I have a valid license and support the incoming contract, I can't find that media download location. Thanks for any help.
Hi Jonathan,.
After you purchase the product, you should get a letter from the e-delivery team and this email contains the link to download the product.
Thank you and best regards,
PB Singh

Received a call from someone who claims to come from the support of windows and need help
Hi, I got a call from a guy who claims to be from the windows support team, I thought at first and then later I realized that it is a scam. So I checked on here to make sure and I discovered that he really was. My problem is that they made me download something so they could control my computer and show me how much I etc when I realized the infections I turned off my computer and uninstalled all of their programs, but they have deleted files. I want to ask that will cause problems in the future? and this meen if I buy something online is possible that they can get information?, if yes, what is the best solution?
- What to do if you think that you were scammed
"If you think that you have responded to a scam with personal or financial information phishing, take these steps to minimize the damage.
Change the passwords or pins on all your online accounts that you think could be jeopardized.
Place an alert on your credit report fraud. Check with your bank or financial advisor if you are unsure how to proceed.
Contact the Bank or online merchant directly. Do not follow the link in the fraudulent e-mail message.
If you know all the accounts that have been accessed or opened fraudulently, close those accounts.
Regularly check your Bank and credit card statements monthly for unexplained charges or inquiries that you initiate. "
If you want to ensure the security of your system, make sure that you have backed up all personal data you want to preserve all the installation files for the programs or applications that you have installed.
Then format the computer and reinstall Vista. It's the only way you can be sure that there is no hidden malware present on it after allowing access by a stranger.

I moved from one country to the other and my account had changed with the help of the Adobe support team because it was impossible to do it on my own (couldn't change the country myself).
And the country support team also placed slot my monthly subscription to annual model and makes a "cloud for creative teams", although there is no team as I am a single user.
Now I'm running into problems because I want to cancel my subscription, but im stuck with the annual subscription. I hope that there is a way to solve this issue in a satisfactory manner.
