Analysis after the installation of Yosemite
Have you tried the fixes listed in the forum and I am still unable to scan to my computer. I have a HP Officejet Pro 8600. Downloaded the drivers but they are all for Maverick, no Yosemite.

I see that you can not scan to your computer, with your HP Officejet 8600 and Mac OS X Yosemite. I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm happy to help you!
To check the printer hardware is functional, you are able to make copies? Configure the printer to print and copy of tray 1 and tray 2.
I recommend the following:
- Full feature software and drivers are on this site, HP Officejet Pro 8600 series full feature software and drivers, this is for Mac, 10.9 and 10.10.

After the installation of Sierra on the iMac, it is impossible to save a scan. You can't send it to a card. The printer is not a problem.
With my old iMac with OS Lion everything works as it should and there is no problem, so I think it has to do with not working is not driver problem?

The HP scanning application is not compatible with Sierra, so you may experience problems.
Remove the HP scanning by moving it to the trash, then empty the trash.
Instead install HP Easy Scan below, it will be installed in the Applications folder:

If you experience additional problems, ensure that the latest version of the software is installed by following HP Easy Start below:

Finally, make sure that your drivers are up-to-date by clicking the Apple icon, select about this Mac and then press on software update.

I can click on the tool, but I can't catch the corners in the preview window and manipulate them. Anyone else having this problem, & have a solution?

I'm afraid that have met you the Rectangle Live bug that is limited to the MAC versions from 10.7 and 10.8, but not of 10.9 (Mavericks) or 10.10 (Yosemite). If all goes well, the bug will be fixed soon.
Thus, a switch for the Mavericks or Yosemite with a reinstall might be the way to solve it here and now.
To get around it, in each case, it is possible to develop direct Rectangles to get the normal old shaped rectangles or Pathfinder > unit, or use the scale tool or the free transform tool.
A more permanent way round that is to create normal old shaped rectangles, after running the free script created by Pawel, see this thread with download link:

Dreamweaver CS5 closes unexpectedly after the installation of Yosemite but other programs of work
After installation of OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 on my Macbook Pro, Dreamweaver CS5 will load halfway and then crash. Other programs seem to load very well and I don't know what to do.

Office of creative cloud does not work after the installation of yosemite
About 2 weeks after that I installed on my macbook pro 2013 yosemite I can't open the creative cloud Office. the logo is displayed for one second on the menu bar, then disappears again. Also the software CC I already installed (Indesign, Acrobat) seems to not work perfectly.
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the Manager of office with the same result. Now, I think about downgrading to the mavericks...

SOLUTION. I had the same problem, after doing a cat from Adobe it came down to an app called Cooliris in Applications. Not sure yet what done.
Deletion of it worked.
Before that we went to the library-LaunchAgents, made a copy, call the old LaunchAgents and move these files.
com.adobe.AAM.Updater - 1.0.plist and
com.adobe.ARM.de23d1e3aa2d00ce38d73f10fcbdc8dcaaaf6be989610710a1ddda77.plist
We did something with the LaunchDaemons as well, not sure, but it did not initially help. Just deleting coolers made

All the data disappeared after the installation of updates! Help!

Last night I installed updates KB961371, 973346 KB and KB 890830 for Vista Home Premium and they seemed to have been settled... my computer turns off fine. But when I started today and connected to my usual user, I got a pop-up message from the tool bar by saying "your user profile was not loaded correctly, you have been logged on with a temporary profile, cnanges do you will be lost when you log out." Check the log of the events for more information or contact your administrator." I then found that all my data was away from all my files (music, photos, Documents, analyses)... everything was gone. I then logged out of my user every day and in my admin to have a snoop around and all the data disappeared from there too. While in admin I also looked in the update section to see if the updates have not been installed correctly, but he said that they had been installed successfully.I then rebooted, as I thought that it might help, but everything remained the same.
After the reboot, I clicked through 'my computer' and hard the news here on the disc wrote I have 89 GB of 147 GB free, which I think is consistent with the amount of data I have stored. This made me think that the data is always there somewhere, but I can't access it at all thanks to my user every day or my administrator.
As far as I can see, all the programs that I installed myself (such as Skype, open office software for my printer hp) are all present, but some of the shortcuts are out of the office. Also, when opening, they "behave" as newly installed programs. for example: Open Office writer guide me through a license agreement and registration rather than simply open a new document, and also firefox behaved in a way similar "new". Also, on commissioning today (after the installation of update yesterday), the window "welcome center" popped up, as did a window asking to save the "synaptics pointing device.
In short, the system "behaves like new", remembers none of my settings etc, but it is still a my programs installed and most of all, I can't access any of my data! I have a Toshiba Equium P200-178 (use vista Home premium service pack 1 32-bit), I use AVG anti virus (8.5) and Ad-aware software anti spyware. These are updated every day and I run scans on a regular basis (last analysis aware ad probably about a week ago) so I'm not sure it's associated virus.
Ask yourself what is this "temporary profile" and how to return to my old and my data! Help, please! Thanks :)

Difficulty of a corrupted user profile
After creating the profile, you can copy the files from the existing profile. You must have at least three user accounts on the computer to perform these operations, including the new account that you created.

Trouble using Photoshop cs 5.5 after the upgrade to Yosemite?
I've recently upgraded to Yosemite and put in a new HD on my Macbook Pro. The rest of my Production Premium CS 5.5 works, with the exception of Photoshop. It opens, even did some things, but its features are very limited, can't do the simplest things such as changing the text of a layer. Ideas?

Computers on the local network does not show up after the installation of macOS Sierra
