• LabVIEW 13.0f2 crashes when text cut of some free labels on the block diagram

  While reviewing the documentation of a VI, I faced a LabVIEW crash. I can reproduce it in LabVIEW 13.0f2 with the following code.  Can anyone confirm that the content 'def' Cup free label and trying to stick to the free label with "ghi" produce error 0xBC0BF185?

  I can't reproduce this problem by any other cut and paste between the free labels on the left side of the BD.  The accident occurred only when 'def' cutting and trying to stick to the "ghi".

  

  Hi all

  I looked into this, and it is more general than just the madness in the label. I dropped the CAR 442743 for this behavior. It's an accident that can occur when cut and paste text between the free labels in 2013 of LabVIEW with the disabled automatic tool. This is related to the CAR 408955 (deadlock occurs when deleting a comment with the automatic tool off) that has been corrected in the Patch of f1 2013 LabVIEW. This case was not covered by that fix and will be fixed in a later version.

• Problem with the text block (text cut)

  I have a problem with indesign (last CC version, I have upgradate today in the morning).

  I create a document with several pages and each page

  is a text box it and the text box are connected (the text content is broadcast through them).

  The text box are defined by a paragraph style, where I set the font style, color...

  I defined that the box can be 2 colunms and oviously, I also set betwin space columns.

  So the apears tex cut in the bottom text box and the rest of the blanks strages.

  I enclose a scrrenshot.

  Please, help me, I'm stacked in this disorder.

  I find the solution.

  Yhe problem was in the style Panel,

  in the tab which, in Italian, is called 'options di separazione.

  Can someone tell me why all the videos show this glitch on the title? A pixel or two seems to be cut off.

  

  It isn't when read out of the Cp/swf. With the help of v5.5.l

  You will be very expensive if the video editor should go back and change the position of the text on all the video files.

  Hi Christine,

  When you say "it isn't there when seen outside the Cp/swf." Using v5.5.l", means that this problem occurs only in a specific output?

  Try this - go to preferences - SWF size and quality and under customer, uncheck Compression project advance, republish the course and check the results.

• How to make CutOperation puts the text cut to the Clipboard?

  I have a class that inherits from the EditManager class and provides these methods:

  PerformCopy works very well and makes the text copied to the Clipboard.

  PerformCut deletes as planned, but don't put it on the Clipboard.

  The documentation for CutOperation says "edit Manager is responsible for copying of the text scrap to the Clipboard. Cancel a cut operation does not restore the original Clipboard State. »

  No idea what I could do wrong?

  You can call TextClipboard.setContents (textScrap) to scrap that you made on the system Clipboard. For an example of how this is done in the TLF, see EditManager.as function editHandler. Note that this can only be done as part of a trial to CUT or COPY, except if you run on AIR (access to the Clipboard is subject to the security sandbox).

  The text of a paragraph style is being reduced by half when the file is exported to EPUB of CS6.  The problem happens through more than an e-reader.  We tried to solve the problem by changing the CSS, but it removed the police in an e-reader, and no changes made in another.

  Is there a way that this problem can be corrected in InDesign, maybe some change the paragraph style?

  Understand the problem - there was just one problem with the spacing of the lines of this paragraph style.

  You can:

  (1) create any Type in position, with overlaps;

  (2) type > Create outlines, at least for the parts that overlap other parts (in some cases, you can keep everything live Type, but not in the case shown because of the shapes of letters and the mutual overlapping (for example, as of the jumps/Over);)

  (3) select each set of letters to overlap other and oppose > compound path > make;

  (4) object > path > offset from the desired gap round forms of the letter;

  (5) select the compound path which is offset and changes color to white, now you should have at least a partial coverage of the letters below.

  (6) object > compound path > exit, then select Direct and remove the counter paths (the one who did the counters/holes in the letters), now you should have one in addition to covering the letters below.

  (7) to get rid of any bit and remaining pieces, you can change the shape of the paths of offset in cutting, removal of parts to support (for example the parts between the serifs) and the displacement of the anchor (to the outside).

  If you want the result on a colored background, you can:

  (8) select the coverage group to the top of letters and the underlying and the transparency palette flyout click do the with unchecked Clip opacity mask and invert the mask ticked.

  I think Camilo uses Split columns of text within paragraphs. It does not play nice with notes.

• Text cut on the printed page

  I am currently using RoboHelp 8 to create help topics. Topics generate as I wait in line, but if a user chooses to print a topic, there is a problem with the text in the text boxes. Any text written outside of a text box or a table seems to wrap to the size of the 81/2 x 11 "paper output. However, anything in a text box is currently off the coast of the right side. Is there something about the size of the text box that does this? Something else? (I'm not technically sophisticated or proficient in HTML, so there may be a simple answer to what has been a very frustrating problem.)

  (More information: text boxes are usually of 6.5 inches, but there is also text boxes in the drop-down list text which might be larger.) Will be 'stretch' the original text box?)

  To be honest, I would not use anything in the expansion of text other than text or an image. They are not really designed for a lot of other things. Also the contextual text feature is not only more widely used. It still exists but has been largely replaced by expanding DHTML and the drop-down list text this feature. Unless there is a good reason not to use it, I would use these instead.

  Load the clip in the Source monitor Panel and switch to the metadata tab.  There, you will see a search box, with the results of the translation down.

  I'm trying to create a text cutting from a form.

  I want the form to look like an expanded outline of the text, I did in creating the outlines of the text, clicking on offbeat path that created my desired effect.

  I would then like to cut my original text of this way to compensate using the pathfinder tool but it doesn't let me do that.

  A simple way, where you can keep Type direct and live effects, is for each artwork to:

  (1) change the magenta to white,

  (2) all parts before if not already, the Group

  (2) select all in the same work of art and in the tick of flyout palette transparency mask opacity do with unchecked Clip and invert the mask ticked.

  I have an Office Pro 8500 running on Windows XP.

  During the analysis of text (rtf), sometimes the scanner will recognize the words in characters bold and on other occasions, he won't. When it does not show the "BOLD" type, it shows everything in normal characters.
