  A question that you asked and there are very important with regard to the questions you have asked - what is the best technology to use for interconnection (private network and switch)?

  And is not ethernet (as shown in this diagram you mentioned). The speed and scalability of the interconnection have a major impact on the performance of the cluster.

  Gig-ethernet is limited in scalability and features. 10 Gb/s is the maximum. The standard of 1 Gbps. It does not support SDP (Sockets Direct Protocol), SRP (SCSI RDMA/Remote direct memory access Protocol) and so on. (although SRP specifications were available to sellers for implementing ethernet).

  If you look at what Oracle Database Machine and Exadata storage servers is using, this is Infiniband... and protocols such as SRP.

  InfiniBand out-of-the-box works at 40 Gbit/s (extendable up to 120 GB/s). Port to port latency is as low as 60ns (and still less with hardware and new technologies of the IB).

  I don't see how GigE even thinking to challenge Infiniband with in this regard. Especially since Oracle himself chose as the interconnection architecture (and layer of communication of storage) for the fastest CARS ever built systems.

  And no, it's not expensive either. Our IB material cost us really less similar material GigE.

• the RAC - Question on Openfiler configuration test

  I managed to install Linux on two nodes linux1 and linux2 by doc above.
  I managed to install openfiler on the third node, powered by rpath linux by doc above.
  
  According to the document above and the next step, I need to configure iSCSI volumes using openfiler. The document speaks using the browser through which Openfiler administration is performed.
  
  The issue I'm facing is, I can't get the browser installed on openfiler. How can I do this?
  This node is not connected to the internet.
  I downloaded mozilla firefox on a usb key, how can I access the USB on the openfiler and install the browser?
  Is there a GUI for openfiler?
  
  If anyone has experience with this, I appreciate if they can share.

  Openfiler needs to run a web server. Then you should be able to access from a browser on other machines to which it is connected

• How to configure we draw like the paths of the race, rather than the default of transparent traces?

  When I move a drawing creation using simple 1 black lines smooth to draw Adobe Illustrator CC, it is expanded or compound paths.  I want to be able to draw the image as a single path only (points in the middle of the race as opposed to control points on both sides of control shape with filling in the middle).  Is this possible?  Or is it possible to convert simple traced complex traces in Illustrator?

  Yes. Sue's right.

  With the help of Illustrator draw give you paths as the form of the task.  If you draw on the same layer, you'll find yourself with forms that are unique, but without the path to the Center.

  It does not appear that Adobe draw currently records the path of the finger/stylus, so any form you create in one movement appears as a single color.  (All by converting some isolated shots that are not recursive might be easy, strokes that create irregular shapes is not)

  OTOH, if you use something like Adobe's sketch, pouvez get you the paths, but in doing so, you can confiscate the brushes that you created in the application.  I have not sat down to figure out how to reproduce these brushes in Illustrator or Photoshop (easier).

  While you can open the path data by converting it, you can keep a double layer of your works of art first.  The conversion process will replace bitmaps by default brush strokes.

• Photosmart 7520: Impossible to analyze the documents of legal format on HP7520

  I've read the post of the so-called solved this problem, but NOT for me.

  I use Photoshop > import > HP Photosmart Twain... I have setup the parms legal analysis and I have the document using the charger from the power supply.

  It scans but cut above the bottom.

  I am unable to find any setting in the printer to be configured for legal size, I suppose that the charger has NO need!

  I'd appreciate your help!

  I read on digitization as legal size problems you are currently experiencing and wanted soft hand with my suggestions.

  The Photosmart 7520 should be set to analyze the legal size through to choose parameters in the HP scanning software, I posted below as an example.

  If the options are not in your printer software as described, perhaps the full functionality driver and the software is not installed, which you can download and install it here: HP Photosmart 7520 e-all-in-one printer full feature software and drivers

  You can also check for a firmware update and complete if necessary, which can help as well:

  Get the latest Firmware and updates

  You should see the option to select to analyze as legal size in the printer software.

  In the first series of tests of my instrument, it took longer than expected for the race.  Thus, the data was saved in 6 days.  The file is too large for export to Excel.  At the beginning of the project, I was as ignorant as I could go ahead and add analysis and the scaling of measures.  By the scaling, I mean my data of switching current dew points or whatever it is that I record.

  How to evolve the data to read the output data as expected 4mA = point of dew of-20 C or 0 PSIG?  Can I pre program this to be recognized for each event?

  For real analysis I am doing – I would first analyze the data I recorded and choose different points to send to Excel to graph and analyze.  Is this possible?

  Secondly, I would like to know how to scale and analyze my data in the project without having to do this later analysis in the future?

  Hi Emmanuel, this product does not support anything like Netflow. Your next bet is SNMP and who would probably not do what you want, if you are specifically looking for the Netflow feature sets.

  One thing I have a question, when you say "analyze the flow of all", does that mean that you want to capture all the traffic, you can record and read it again? The closest you can do with is doing a session on the monitor for a VLAN integer and launch wireshark there to capture the data. I'm not sure that's what you want, but if you want to capture all packets and save it somewhere, it's a way to do it, but a bad way to do it.

• Check the IPS configuration

  I am very new on the front of Cisco IPS and have configured an ASA 5510 with the SSM-10 IPS module.  We have a compatible interface with multiple VLANs on this interface.  I installed the IPS, to the best of my ability, and I think it's okay as inline doesn't open in a configuration of active / standby asa.  Is it possible to check that the traffic flows properly to this IPS module?  Also, I've mentioned on the Setup it of because this version of the IPS, if I understand correctly, will not allow pairs VLAN, then when I put the policy to inspect all traffic, this traffic inspected between all the VLANS.  Another mystery, this is when I discovered my IPS interfaces (management and is not) that is not configured as management shows no matched.

  I know it of a lot, so let me summarize:

  -How can I check that my setup works as intended where all traffic between all them VLAN is inspected.

  -Why my interface managers showing 'matched '.

  -Looking through all of the Cisco documentation, I noticed the mention of the "contexts"; I don't see any reference to these contexts within the IDM.  It's just for my knowledge, but may be necessary for installation... I do not know.

  Since you're using an IPS module, traffic that matches the class configured on the SAA is under inspection, you can configure a capture on the dataplane Interface (the Interface used to send traffic to the ASA to IPS) using this command:

  Check capture using the:

  The output should display the packets from for each VLAN.

  Modules ASA IPS (ASA 5500 AIP SSM, ASA IPS 5500-X SSP and ASA IPS SSP 5585-X) do not support pairs VLAN inline.

  You can associate a VLAN in pairs on a physical interface. This is known as pair mode for the VLAN inline. Packets received on one of VLAN matched are analyzed and then forwarded to another VLAN in the pair. Because the module has only a detection interface, this is why it is shown as Unpaired.

  Literature speaks of "security contexts. You can partition an ASA unique in several virtual devices, called security contexts. Each context is an independent device, with its own security policy, interfaces, and administrators. Several contexts resemble have several stand-alone devices.   1. Force to leave Dreamweaver so its opening.
  2. Please go to/applications/adobe dreamweaver 2014.1/configuration/dialogs/eve cc location
  3. Take backup of the titanoptionaldialog.eve file and move it to the trash. Remove it from the trash as well.
  4. Restart the DW and check if it works.

  If that don't work then please uninstall and re-install Dreamweaver (also remove preferences) and then check.

  In terms of high level, if you run a 2 node RAC and get invited to create a recovery site disaster 2 nodes, how I would go all this? (The cluster in the site recovery has already been created and installed the software Oracle 11.2.0.1).
  
  I think in general that a clone of production to the secondary site RMAN would be an idea: but that is possible with both nodes of production upwards? And is the best approach for cloning a single instance and then add a second instance manually at a later time?
