  I want to write an elegant solution in LabWindows-CVI to accomplish the same thing as what I implemented in LabVIEW.

  The client does not use or do not own LabVIEW.  I have to code the solution in the CVI.

  Order to simpify the explanation of what it is that I try to do, I wrote a small example in LabVIEW (see below):

  

  The code needs to parse a string to determine which data column includes unpaired.  To do this, I first removed the unwanted text on the top and bottom.  I also removed the extra space between the 2 groups of data by replacing the two separated by one to facilitate the next step.  The result string has been converted to a table 2D-string.  Only the columns you want to search for remained (total of 16 columns).  Table 2D has been transposed as the table 1 d of research searched each line, I want to look in each column.  2D table transposed in its entirety was sought of all no corresponding values, which fills a table 1 d of boolean.  I converted the table 1 d of boolean to a number to see if data 'no match' has been found.  If none have been found, the value would be zero.

  I need help to encode this in CVI.

  Ray, aspect string makes me think that it's a memory dump, while I designed a solution that analyzes the values of the whole of the chain and operates on them, instead of working on the string itself. Take a look at the attached example which should be what you're looking for. feel free to add comments or ask for clarification on some instructions if you need.

  I have e-mail messages saved to disk in the form of text files and I'd like to load each message as a javax.mail.Message and analyzed. The reason I want to do is that I will be able to use the java mail API and I already have an analysis program that can scan the headers and the body. Is there a possible way to do this?

  If the emails are saved as EML file, then you can load them as MimeMessage and then easily analyze.

• OfficeJet J4680: OfficeJet J4680 will not analyze the text

  All-in-one installation program does not scan option text (façade or Solution Center). I downloaded the full software package twice, with the same result.  I am using 8.1, also I tried compatibility for Win 7.  Are there any OCR software in this driver? If this is not the case, can I use another driver?

  I think I managed to do work... I had temporarily removed my PC Win 7 for my grandson to install additional RAM and uses his hand built Win 8.1 PC.  I had downloaded the softawre and installed in the new PC, but obviously done something wrong. That's when I came here to help. While waiting for a response, I deleted the file you downloaded, uninstalled the HP software and restarted the PC.  Then, I downloaded the recommended full software reinstalled (yet?), and restarted. I think it works now because that "save in editable text file is available. Thanks for the help everyone!

• CentOS 5.5 100% CPU use 50% of the CPU of the host - very simple config

  On an upgrade on ESXi 4.0u1 - & gt; ESXi 4.1, I got a CentOS 5.5 32bits with VMware tools and local storage SCSI RAID5.

  Host: IBM x 346 Intel Xeon 3, 4 Mhz single core, hyper-threading, dual-CPU 10 GB of RAM.

  VM: CentOS 5.5 32bits, kernel 2.6.18 - 194.11.1.el5 #1 SMP

  VM resources: 4 vCPU, 4096 MB RAM, affinity and default limits

  I've got high utilization of the processor on this light apache + mysql box. In order to optimize the system, I came to this observation:

  -When my CentOS VM uses 100% cpu, the ESXi host uses only 50%

  My question is: why is it impossible to use more cpu, as this the only VM on the host?

  Clues or tips?

  First of all, you have an absolutely incorrect configuration.

  You see 2 CPU * HT * 1 core = 4 logical processors in ESXi. But actually it's only 2 physical cores, and you should not give any VM on the ESXi exceeding 2 vCPU, because it isn't real processors and VM is not aware of it.

  If you have 2 virtual machines with 2 vCPUs each then Yes, HT will give performance gain, but not in this case.

• Can I download Prem Pro 2013?  I need the text parser

  I downloaded 2013 and used once to analyze the text, but the creative cloud automatically updated until 2014 and the text parser is now gone.  I can't 2013 anywhere?

  If you open the LTCC you access the previous Version.

  Select Premiere Pro and install CC (7).

  But you cannot open a project done in CC2014 in CC7.

  You can do ax XML and importing CC7, but you won't get cut clips and transitions. Rest is lost.

  I am trying to create a text effect in small characters following the outline of the text very large block "BOLD" (see photo).  The idea I had was to create the 'ME' in very large print text.  Then convert this text in object / path using "object-> flatten transparency...->"convert all text to describe.  Then, select this path and use the type tool ' along the way '.  However, when I use this process, the way that results is a path that does not work, that is why the long path Type tool.  Guidance on how to achieve this?  The picture below I just used a pencil to draw the letters (quick and dirty) but the result is choppy, etc..

• Paragraph nets run too short under the text

  I noticed that when I select a net of paragraph to run under a text (instead of the entire column) it turns a little too short, if the text has been the subject of a follow-up. If there are no kerning or followed, the rule runs the width of the text very well. But soon as the text is stretched the rule isn't quite stretches all the way under the text. Is there a way to fix this? I have InDesign CS5 for Windows (version 7.0.4).

  Forced line break is special characters, too.

  But here's the good news. I tested your theory this morning about not apply tracking to the character and it works for all the alignment options, and he doesn't move to the last position of the character, so it is viable, in fact excellent, when it is applied by using the GREP style. GREP is actually not terribly difficult to learn and incredibly powerful (and the dialog box find/replace in the ID has the most metacharacters commonly used lists if you have trouble memorizing). There are a lot of users here who will be happy to help you learn the GREP, which Peter K, if you encounter a stumbling block and post a question.

  I'll also update my last night bug report to include your workaround solution. He could point the engineers to an easy way to fix the code, so none of this will not be necessary someday.

• Update the Text property in other containers

  Hi, I'm trying to update a text property of the textarea with ActionScript that I've nested inside a vbox, within a Panel, inside a canvas.  When debugging, I noticed that the textarea object is null if its nested in other containers.  But if I allow it to be outside, I can put the text very well.

  You want creationPolicy = "all", although its use is considered as anti-corporate good practices. Best practices has you the initialization of the components needed on creationComplete for the TabNavigator, but which can be annoying.

• UIScrollbar does not have to scroll through all the text?

  Hi all, I have a field of text-ish with a decent amount of text that must be scrolled to see it all. I added a UIScrollBar (using the AS3) component and it shows fine and makes the text very well, but it does not scroll all the way to the bottom of the text, just a little ways in. If I use my mouse wheel and scroll the text in this way, then bar scroll position indicator suddenly shrinks and then I can use the scrollbar clearly at the end of the text. But if I do not use the mouse wheel to do this, I can't use the scroll bar to reach the end of the text. I tried to use the scroll bar update() method after filling of the text field with its content and attach the UIScrollBar component itself. What Miss me here so that I can use the scroll bar to scroll down the text instead of just a little ways?

  Apparently, you must manually specify the max of scrolling of the scroll bar range. Assuming that you have created a textfieild of the ScrollBar control affects named content_tf, and the scroll bar is named scrollbar_tf, after the text is loaded into the textfield, this line of code will properly size the scroll bar to adjust the text:

  content_scrollbar.maxScrollPosition = content_tf.textHeight;

  Go figure.

• a very simple text Animation is not smooth

  I have a simple animation that the paragraph of text scaled vertically on one. Background PNG in 2 seconds. When I preview the scaling and animation look unstable. different lines seem to move slightly out of the other. It is almost identical to the problems of anti-aliasing. all lines are in a container and when I convert the text to vector or bitmap the same animation is very well. My question is is this some sort of bug and the limitation in the flash or am I in a bad way?

  The sweetness of the movement of sub pixel depends on the quality of the scene that you have defined. If the quality is not configured by default on 'medium', which could make her look less than perfect.

(This is the shortcut, I grew up with and could never get used to the use of Ctrl-X, that I prefer to use for other things). In my view, there is a fundamental bug which means that this shortcut will not work. (In the box keyboard shortcuts dialog, 'cut' is listed under the Edit menu. It works on the text boxes and objects when assigned to 'default', but not in the selected text when the 'text' option is used.)

  Therefore, I thought I'd try to assign the shortcut to a simple piece of JS code. Can someone give me the syntax if you please. Can follow programming languages, I am new to JS and despite playing for a few hours, that I can't seem to find the code to cut the selected text in the Clipboard.
