OfficeJet J4680: OfficeJet J4680 will not analyze the text

All-in-one installation program does not scan option text (façade or Solution Center). I downloaded the full software package twice, with the same result.  I am using 8.1, also I tried compatibility for Win 7.  Are there any OCR software in this driver? If this is not the case, can I use another driver?

I think I managed to do work... I had temporarily removed my PC Win 7 for my grandson to install additional RAM and uses his hand built Win 8.1 PC.  I had downloaded the softawre and installed in the new PC, but obviously done something wrong. That's when I came here to help. While waiting for a response, I deleted the file you downloaded, uninstalled the HP software and restarted the PC.  Then, I downloaded the recommended full software reinstalled (yet?), and restarted. I think it works now because that "save in editable text file is available. Thanks for the help everyone!

  • Help-HP Officejet 6500 will not print black text

My impression will print any color of text on a page, but nothing that requires black ink. Black print cartridge was full when it started. No error message. Troubleshooting, I changed to a new black HP 920 cartridge. Still nothing what is black is printing. Any help is appreciated!

My 6500 left suddenly printing in black ink. He tells me as suddenly all my color cartridges were low and after replacing all color cartridges, said again that the magenta was low. After hours of searching the Web, I found a solution to my problem which I hope will be able to help others.

My workplace has recently bought a M425dn of MFP HP LaserJet Pro 400 all-in-one printer. It works perfectly except for the fact that it will not print text that is 72 points or larger in size. I tried many fonts that are installed with Windows, and all them print correctly to the point size 71.5 or smaller; Another thing simply does not appear in prints. Content which is of size to 72 points or more * fact * affect the flow of the content printed on the page, however. It's like the 72 points or larger text takes up space, but it is completely invisible on the printed page.

I tested using Microsoft Word 2002 on three separate computers, of which two have installed Windows 7 and Windows Vista installed. The problem is the same on all three computers. The printer is connected via an ethernet cable to our wired network. I have installed the printer software included, and I don't think that there are updates for it that have not been installed up to this point.

  • will not display the text horizontally

I would like to read the notification and calendar horizontally, but I can't find any setting to do so.

    Text charge only vertically.

Change the right arm to left arm does not seem to make any difference either.

    can anyone help?

I've seen videos that illustrate the horizontal text, so it must be possible!

There may be some built-in apps that change the way they appear. In my view, agenda/calendar could do. Previously, we had the left/right and horizontal messages have been posted according to this.

His works again.  Hope this works for you.

  • My Officejet 7410 will not longer accept WPA2 network access

My Officejet 7410 will not longer accept WPA2 network access. He's always worked with WPA2, but after using the temporary printer with USB attached the printer wouldn't connect more after unplugging the USB. The only way to connect wirelessly is using WPA. What is the cause of this problem who can and how can it be resolved?

Well, since you can't access your router to make changes, the only thing I can say now is take the device to a friends house and attempt to connect to access to the router for the tests.

I reinstalled and hardware (scanner) is recognized but will not give the ability to scan. I use Windows 7 32-bit but also windows virtual XP.  This problem has been uninstigated.  Does not work under XP 7 or virtual.

I found this document which indicates the front button functions are limited in Windows 7, so if you try to scan form, it just will not work.  I also found this document which shows you all the different ways that you can scan with Windows 7.  Hope these helps.

  • Printer will not feed the paper card stock

We have an Officejet Pro 8600 who will not feed the paper card stock. It was the printer that I used when I worked and did a great job on standard paper, but it won't take my wife stock card paper craft. We used to have a Deskjet F4400 HP all in one and we were able to print. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    John,

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

Try indicating what type of media you print to the printer - if your media in the printing preferences settings do not understand "card", you should choose something else which is similar: Matt Brochure, card, 'something' that kind of card stock for the printer to the printer waits 'thick' paper looks.

My J4580 that works very well for years, now will not detect the alignment page after you print and put on the scanner bed.  I try three times and it then goes to the default alignment parameters.  It still prints but text tends to little fuzzy.  What can I do to fix this?

    Hi @BruceK43,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your problem of alignment.

I understand that you used a HP Officejet J4580 all-in-One printer with a Windows 10 computer but when you try to only scan the alignment page, the printer is not detected by the alignment page returns to the default alignment parameters. I would like to help with that.

Here is the document of support designed to be used with this problem - a "alignment failed" Error Message appears on the printer control panel.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.
