  In developing my site web I came across the problem that Firefox does not scroll to the targets of links of anchor named in a page, when the page is in an iframe.

  In seeking solutions, I read a lot of dated 2010-2011, it is one thing to security... and many supposed solutions, which only work for certain situations, not mine. There was also a lot of people who cry 'FAULT!' because of this, as there is no risk that not involved so that never, and I agree very strongly.

  It is now 2014 and it still does not work, I still see nothing wrong with the practice of link in a document, not mater how or where they are displayed. It's actually a procedure standard and highly recommended for proper navigation and W3.

  I love the Community open source and I thank all participants for their contribution to Firefox, but your developers need to find a way to fight against the attempt to exploit the vulnerability, rather than destroy the vulnerable code itself, at the expense of the savvy folks less code like me who want just to get simple web content. When I read the answers to your developers, I've seen many not humble cop out answers I expect only from the likes of Microsoft, which I hope you do not try to imitate. That is to say, is not the problem.

• Anchor named linking from another document

  I did an anchor named and linked to a text in another document.  Large.  Works perfectly.  The only thing is that it does not display the anchor named at the top of the page.

  In other words, the foot is at the bottom of the page and the named anchor in the middle of the page... not at the top.  As a #top would be.

  Anyway to get to the top of the page?  Should I just more content below?

  This is becausedoes not scroll beyond the bottom of the page. That's what I wanted to show you in my example. If you were to add a div with a height of 500px or there abouts at the end of your document, then the ancjor will be displayed at the top of the page.

  Or alternatively, you can resize the browser window to half the height you have now, you will also notice that it works.

  You will need to correct the links that begin with "file".

  Now that your site has been defined, you just delete the bad links and DW left write the good ones for you.

  Click on the yellow folder on the property inspector, and then select the target page.

  

  If your site is small, you can edit the links manually (remove the part in red)

  It would be useful that post you your code on the page so that we can see if you use the old technique or new for these links.

  OK, let's try again...

  This time that files are in place on the server, the URL is www.neohfma.org.

  None of the links to the page of the newsletter can be found on the server.  It makes no sense, because he had to go to the newsletter page to access this page.  I need help to diagnose the problem.

• What is the trick for positioning on a scrolling site anchors named?

  I put together a page that scrolls to the right. My problem is to get the anchor named for a div which is located to the right of the screen to slide to the left of the screen. For now, he's going to the right, so what is in the div is still out of sight.

• navigateToURL anchor named #anchor problem in AS3

  I created a SWF file with navigateToURL (http://anysite.com/this.html#4, "_blank").  The link works fine even if I'm in the Flash environment only.  When I embad the SWF in a HTML file and call the link, the address shows http://anysite.com/this.html bar I lose the anchor named #4.

  I already have the "Flash with anchor named" HTML template in publication settings.

  Any suggestions?

• How to close a browser window and return to an anchor named on a page in another window

  I'm working on a Web site that contains several book images at the bottom of each page. I put in place so that when the user clicks on a book, another smaller browser window opens with a description of the book. At the bottom of the window of description of book, I have a close button that I added the Window.Close () behavior. But I would like not only to have the window close but to return the user to the bottom of the original page where I have some books, a field that I applied an anchor named at. Any ideas on how I can get this done.

  I tried not to customize this lightbox extension a lot.  But I'm sure that the box size is predetermined by the size of the image.  Larger image, larger box.  And which is encoded in one of the jQuery javascript libraries.

  What is different this time is that you do not have a named anchor the

  The more contemporary is to make an anchor named just a link to an element using its ID. For example -.

  It's foo

  You will need to do this manually because the "named anchor" option has been removed from DW (for several versions now).

  It seems that IE8 does not like the named anchor tags that are empty.

  (1) try a nonbreaking space (or any text content) inside the tag

  & b s n p;

  no space between & b s n p;

  (2) or try the thing with the inline-block mentioned here

  Hi all. Question about the use of anchors in Muse. I have conducted a search already and couldn't get an exact answer (or see a specific question)
