Android devices supported?

Is there a list of Android devices that are supported using Adobe DPS? If Yes, where can I find it?

Basically, we must support and tablet or phone on 4.0.3 and above. However, this list is more 5 000 devices and we don't have all of them in our test bench. We tested on a representative sample that we update every year.

  • How serious is the lack of AIR to the x 86 Android devices support?

I want to know if I understand this right, and what are the implications.

I understand that some Android devices, especially those with x 86 processors (like Samsung Tab 3) cannot run applications built with air, or at least extremely slowly run them to the point of being useless.

    First, is it true?

Second, what are the implications? If a segment of users in the Google game cannot correctly run applications, we build for Android, it's almost an argument to not build Android apps at all, given that these users will give very bad reviews - and in all cases, we will end up with a percentage of users Android being extremely unhappy about the app and complain.

Can someone tell me if I understand the situation, and what is the current assessment of the seriousness of the problem?

Amazing news! x 86 supported devices!

  • Less supported android devices?

    Hello

today I've updated my DPS classic Android app in the store of Google to DPS 2015 play.

Schnee & mehr Der Atlas 2015 - Android applications on Google game

So far, it has worked well, but I got a message:

    > > devices 4144 devices supported Android (4535 deleted) < <

Now, I'm worried. Why join is no longer so many Android devices?

    Thank you

    Hans

Wait for other answers, but on the one hand the system requirements is different for 2015 of DPS (Android 4.4 minimum) and I'm guessing that older devices will not refresh to this system.

The "unsupported devices" section in the developer console GooglePlay can provide more details about all this.

  • Is there a list of supported Android devices?

I am asked often enough on the support for specific Android devices. There are the devices 'in the middle', as Galaxy Note II, with a 5.5 "display and resolution of 1280 x 720 px - such is peripheral taken in charge or not?

    Thank you

    Martin

Galaxy Note 1/2 are not officially supported. If you install the apk directly, it will install however when looking for enforcement DPS on Google play for Galaxy Note, you can not find the application. Some other devices may cause diferrent results. We do not have a list as the basis of the Android device is too big for the document. You have a list of the supported devices that console developer to play Google gives you when you submit the request.

  • I can't synchronize my android device. Sync works with other devices, but not on the new Android device.

I use ff on two other Android devices and two pc under windows without any problem. I bought a new phone and I couldn't sync somehow. Whenever I'm trying something new, ff considers my attempt to sync to a new account.

There is a new system of synchronization, if you have an older synchronization account see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-update-to-the-new-firefox-sync migration to it.

  • I use FF (ESR) v24 to work. How can I sync with my new Android device?

The only Firefox it seems able to get for my new Android device is v30, and the synchronization system has radically changed between v30 and v24 Extended Support Release that I use at work. How can I sync my new android and my work machine?

Open Android OS settings under the section add accounts use the option of Firefox Sync (not recommended).

You must at least Android 2.2 have Flash.

Also the mobile Firefox does not support the flash plugin and yet even if I think that mobile Firefox 10.0 will support.

  • How to print from an Android device via bluetooth?

You had purchased the Mobile 100 Officejet printer to print from your Android device via bluetooth.

You have paired with bluetooth devices, but do not see an option to print or the "print" key does not work in this case.

Well, here is how this can be accomplished in Android.

For this example, I'll use the steps to print a photo.

    1 pairing.

    2. open the photo you want to print.

    3. Select the share option (for example can send to aid based on the version of Android).

    4. Select Bluetooth.

    5. Select the printer in the list of devices.

    6. the file will be sent to the printer.  You can check the notification area upstairs to check on the status.  It may take a few minutes to send at the end.

    7. it must then print the photo.

Bluetooth HP printers support printing of photos only, but a third-party application can be used to print documents and other items.

    Hope this information is useful.

I know there has been many cases of users who were not able to print via bluetooth since an Android device.

  • 7610: print envelope A10 from one Android device on printer Officejet 7610

HP Printing Service decision-making in available on Google Android game seems to settle and open normally.

The printer is a wireless HP Officejet 7610 large Format printer.

After an address in Word (on Android) and or Google Docs, try to print an A10 wireless phone

    in case of failure.

A10 is available in the printer plug a properties box. Checked.

However, when you use the actual Print Setup dialog box, the drop-down menu to select the paper shows only letter and A4.

Tried by selecting different combinations of size "checked" in the sheet in the Properties dialog box. could not get the A10 to appear in the printer setup menu.

A10 was also selected in the properties of real printer on the laptop.

    Hello @ibjman,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you have a hard time, printing an envelope of A10 from your Android device. I would like to help.

I couldn't find a reason for the software to reject the size of the A10. I went another way and looked at the material instead.

You can find the following link handy. Specifications for the HP Officejet 7610 and 7612 large Format e-All-in-One Series (H912)

I went through the list of supported paper sizes. The Officejet 7610 does not support size A10 envelopes.

The application supports the paper size. Given that the printer does not work it only allows you to print with this size. This isn't a good answer, but it is a solution to the question: why you can't print in cell A10. Or a Kudos. Let me a Kudos.

I hope this helps. If you need other assistance please let me know.

  • LAPN600 cannot connect Android devices

Recently, I upgraded my home network with Linksys SMB networking products, including LRT224, LGS308 and LAPN600. For the most part, I'm satisfied with the quality and performance, however, I can't get any of my Android devices to connect the wireless access point. The devices I've tried are as follows:

    • Moto X (2014, VZW, Android 4.4.4)
    • A HTC (M8, ASBL, 4.4.4 Android with sense 6.0 (I think, the latest version of VZW ROM is 3.28.605.4))
    • Nexus 7 (2012, 4.4.4 Android)

Each of them can see the SSID and recognize the security settings when you try to connect. However, when connecting, it does not correctly connect, either displaying the message "Disabled" or "saved, secured with WPA/WPA2.

I've been in touch with Linksys Support via live chat, and they say it could be a bug (probably in the firmware) which does not allow the devices to connect. I'm supposed to have a level 2 technician to call back within 24 to 48 hours (which began Friday 10 pm CST), but so far I have not heard from them. Has anyone else had similar problems?

Have you updated the firmware on the router? You may have an old firmware. I tried and it works with one of my android, but I have a problem with my other phone.

  • I don't see my android device in folio Builder

I don't see my android device in folio Builder to preview of folio.  I have the unit connected to my PC via USB and content adobe reader is running (same login as indesign) usb debugging is enabled. It is a tablet of nexus 7. InDesign CS6

    Thanks for any help

Your Nexus 7 probably has a version very, very, old Adobe Content Viewer on leave before we made the move to a native Android visualizer, which was almost (more?) than two years.

We do not support overview directly from InDesign to Android more.
