Animate the race weight of a vector image

Hello. I am new to adobe and art as a whole programs, so bare with me. I have watched all the tutorials on the adobe Web site to learn my way around and I'm happy to use these new tools. I am trying to create an idea, but can't find out how to do that. I would like to create an animation of a vector graphic, I created, but I would like that the weight of the race de.001 to environ.3 or more. It would be so 300 images. I imported my file HAVE to AE, but there is no option to adjust the weight of the race in there. Is there an easy way to go on what I seek to do rather than save 300 different files and organize them in a video? It is also composed of a complex boss brush so I think that the program works pretty hard. It takes like 10 seconds or more for a significant increase in the weight of the race to load, but there are many details so it makes sense, I guess. Thanks for your time.

I can't judge the complexity of your work, but After Effects has an option to adjust the weight of the race of Illustrator files.

In After Effects: Menu layer > create vector shapes

Then, you can change the attributes of the race over time.

    Hello

My apologies if this is a n00b question.

I would like to animate the race of the next image I created in illustrator:

I brought in AE with the separate layers and managed to get to animate it:

He hosted the writing style I want, however, the race is a new feature and not the call I made in illustrator. How can I get this animation effect while keeping the colors (each section of the handwriting sample is cut in a different color, it's not a gradient) and the appearance of the original image?

    Thank you

It seems that your Illustrator illustration was created with the form of task rather than the pen tool?  Your method of animation can change the way these two options work for you but:

    • One way would be to use the signature animated as matte for your original Illustrator illustration.
    • Another way to achieve this might be to save your Illustrator artwork as a grayscale image, then assign the color using an effect like Colorama

  • The race weight is STUCK

    Hello!

I work in illustrator and I am trying to change the weight of the race of a line - normally, it works very well, but for some reason, it keeps defaulting to 1pt now and don't let me change to something else. I tried already rebooted my computer, restart the program and get the new updates for it. Creative cloud chat is not able to help me today because their technical staff are not in... has anyone else had this problem?

    Liza,

You can select the line and see if Snap to grid of pixels is checked in the Transform palette. If this is the case, uncheck it and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher.

You can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.

  • Is there a way to make a custom brush vector sweetness meet at begging and end the race?

Is there a way to make a custom vector Brush softness meet at the begging and the end of the race, as a circle?  I am trying to create smooth circles with a brush and Wacom.  I want a brush rather than a perfect circle of mathmatically with a perfect line weight-weight, but I don't like how to join two beginning and end.  I like the slight variations of the human imperfections we get when using a vector Brush, but there must be a way to make the joing points smoother look, rather than a title error after the fact, right?  Is this possible?

The image below illustrates my attempts to make it as smooth as possible joint, but it still seems too as it was not meant to be.

    Thank you!

You'd be better off drawing with the pencil tool, applying a standard race and then using a profile of race or the width tool to create the vocabulary of the race.

  • Weight of the race of eps placed in indesign

I have a range of books layouted in indesign,

in which I place a large number of files generated in illustrator eps.

Resizing eps images the race more weight, changes to lines

Although I unchecked the option adjust the weight of race during the measurement in the transform menu.

Does anyone have experience with this problem

as I don't want to scale hand 3000 files!

Depending on the ultimate fate of these InDesign files, some approaches post-processing might work.

If you make PDF (s), then the "Fix released" feature in Acrobat Professional allows you to set a minimum value of line to apply to the entire PDF. Also, if these documents will be printed on the market, many RIPs/workflow systems have the ability to do the same thing at the time. Ask the printer...

  • Hello, is it possible to animate the pictures?  In particular, is it possible to move a character to a photo/image?

Hello, is it possible to animate the pictures?  In particular, is it possible to move a character to a photo/image?

You will need to do a clean selection of figure and copy it to a new layer (and rebuild what was behind it). If you want to animate the figure, you will need several layers (one for each position) and you could change the position of the arms, legs and head with deformation of the puppet. Once you have the parts, can create an animation of image.

  • Cannot control the weight of the race on triangle

    Hello

I created three shapes using the shape tool: a circle, a rectangle and a triangle (using the star tool and by decreasing the number of sides).

I want to customize the weight of the race on these forms. I am able to customize on the square and the circle, but not on the triangle. How can I fix this?

    Thank you!

Select the shape with the selection tool (just like the other two) and make your choice of formatting from the Panel control or stroke. Something must happen so a screenshot would be helpful: Please include the appearance Panel and the layers panel.

  • Trace vector & image - where's the color?

    Hello there!

I decided to take up adobe Illustrator and now I practice guiding logos. I have one that I'm testing my knowledge:

I learned beautiful ability to trace things vector image for me, but it ignores the trees and turn it into black and white spots.

I've done a bit of research, but maybe I'm just not not using the right keywords or not looking in the right places. Thanks for reading!

Look up in the control bar, with your selected item. Choose the name of the preset (I chose low fidelity), or click on the Preferences button to show all settings.

  • Change the weight of the race?

It makes me a little crazy. Whenever I use my race weight selection tool is automatically set to 213.28px
I would like to change that to 3px. There is a big jump, you know? I tried to find an answer to this for the better part of the morning, and I feel that I forget some stupid little details. Thus, any help please!

To remember your last setting.  If select the rectangular shape and set it to 2 px until you drag a shape.  Then close and reopen Photoshop, it should always be set to 2 pixels.  I just checked and it works for me.

  • Increase the weight of the race of certain paths in a trace

I am trying to increase the weight of the race of the outer circle on the side of a compass diagram. For track most of the outside circle has been placed in a compound path with other paths (circle inside and star) which I want to maintain weight. I would be grateful if I could get some tips how to on this subject.

    COMPASS_TRACE.jpg

you want to maintain that sort of look like imperfect?

If this is not the case, just a new circle to the desired weight would be simpler to design. If you do, it is difficult to suggest a particular thing. Maybe a brush rags?

  • Since the last update, I can't change my weight of the race less than 1 point.

Since the last update, I can't change my weight of the race within 1 point (or fraction). Any ideas would be so appreciated.

Align with the pixel grid is enabled in the document you are using. Disable it in the transformation (main and flying Panel) Panel. You can disable it when you make a new document in the Format of Document dialog box.

I'm trying to paint digitally on a jpeg of a pencil drawing I did. However, Illustrator is not letting me change the weight of the race of my brush what either above or below 1 pt. Does anyone know how to change this problem? I looked online, but so far everything I've tried has failed. Can someone help me?

In fact I just somehow fixed. Apparently, I had to choose a certain option brush? In any case, thank you very much for your help I appreciate it =)

  • Help with the weight of the race while drawing objects

From today, every time I have to draw any object (square, ellipse, etc.), the weight of the race is VERY thick.  I went to the dash Panel and it is set to 1 point, so I'm puzzled

as to why he was so thick drawing. What else can be the cause of this problem?

Here is an example of an ellipse. I just drew and have not changed at all. The plan should not be anywhere near what a default thickness:

    Thanks in advance,

    Andy

If that's what you see, you don't have step 2.

The tool of the artboard in the tools on the left of the document window Panel and looks like a Tic-Tac-Toe.

After choosing the artboard tool, the Panel popup control changes to display options for work plans.

In addition, if you are wondering what caused this: when you created the original work plan and that you have entered in dimensions, such as 8.5 by 11, you had your units the value of points or something else except thumbs (or what unit of measure you actually intended). The computer does not do what you want it to do. To do this, what you tell it to do.

    Happy Artboarding! :-)

  • How to animate the image inside the frame

    Hello

I wonder if there is a way to animate only an image inside a frame, rather than animate the entire image. I have attached a picture to give you an idea of what I want to do. As you can see, I have an image in a frame that is bound by the size of the page. You will notice that the image itself is much larger. I want the image itself to turn slowly, but the weft to stand still. Possible? I'm on Indesign CC 2015.Screen Shot 2015-06-21 at 10.58.43 PM.png

    Ok. What works is somehow:

Have a duplicate of your image size as you wish where the limits of the graph are the limits of the graphic image.

    1. define the animation you want.

    2. put the frame on the rectangle that currently hold your image.

    2. then cut/paste as part of animation in this framework.

Test the movie in the preview of EPUB interactivity Panel.

No need of an additional mask on an extra layer then.
