• Animated border and Muse integration help!

  OK, so I finally got the hang of border, but have now a problem that there solution may be simple but I can't find anything online.

  I wanted to put in place the banners on my site of muse.

  If away from what I've seen everything I want to do is animate on the edge then export and import the OAM in muse...

  But what about after that? I previewd it on Muse and fin looked at him, then I downloaded FTP and the content was missing.

  Part Board Animate

  1. create the project Animate Edge

  2. When you are finished, click on the file > publishing settings (menu command) > Tick & select animate Deployment Package.  (Take note of the ' parameter of target directory - you will need to go here when you're in Muse) Then click on the button control save in the lower right.

  3. go to file > publish menu command to complete the publication process to a .oam package file.

  The process above creates a .oam file that will be 'placed' in your Muse site.

  Minimize the edge host and go to part B.

  Part B Muse

  1. create the Site with Pages.

  2. now place the edge .oam animate.

  In the Plan tab, double-click the thumbnail of the page you want to place the file edge .oam animate.

  3. Once this page is open, go to file > Place. At the prompt, navigate to the package/publish/animated / folder (which was created from A.2) and select the package file .oam.

  4. click anywhere to 'drop' / place the charged reference .oam.

  5. now animate the Edge file is placed on a page, file > save your file in Project Muse website.

  6. now, you need save the project in html format. Go to file > export to Html format.

  7. at the prompt: enter the location of domain name you intend to download these project files; Set the location (in order to save the files) in a new folder (I named this file 'museTest') on your desktop. and then click OK.

  Part B, you should now have a folder on your desktop with the muse .html files exported.

  The exported file and the structure should look like this (outside my file named museTest):

  Desktop

  > museTest (root folder)

  > assets (subfolder of the root folder)

  > css (subfolder of the root folder)

  > scripts (subfolder of the root folder)

  Now FTP the folder to your host.

  Part C Ftp program

  1 program open ftp of your choice (I use Filezilla).

  2 enter the identification information (ip/url, username and password) to your destination from the host.

  3. download the entire folder (mine is called "museTest") from the desktop to a folder on the remote server.

  Go to the destination of the remote folder via your browser of choice. So in my case I download the entire folder "museTest" at the root of the structure of my server I should be able to navigate the site in this way

  Hi lovely people of edge!

  I have a site for which I develop some interactive maps using edge. I have no idea how the code so most of my functions is limited to the deactivation of the elements to get things to do what I want. Very basic, I know, please don't laugh too much!

  It's a (custom) Wordpress site and I use the plugin suite of edge to get the edge on the site animations.

  My question is about the load time and the size of file for edge entertainment. My .oam files are approximately 1.5 to 2 MB. Is this great? Should I aim for smaller?

  The animation loaded for me very well, but look in the Net Panel in Firebug shows that a number of your SVG is more of 300K.  This seems quite expensive in a perspective of bandwidth, and the fact that you have a handful of these files which size adds up to 2MB fairly quickly.  Hope that helps,

  Tried the usual troubleshooting. When you change the page to 'Style No.' style - the text appears.

  Manually disable all addons and plugins does not solve the problem, but when using Firefox in safe mode, the text looks in good condition.

  Change the character encoding does not lighten the question.
  Running windows 7 x 64 with the latest updates and the latest firefox.

  Chrome displays fine twitter and tumblr.

  If you have (or get) MPEG Streamclip, which is free, you can open the anamorphic clip and resize it to 1080 true. You will be able to choose H.264 as a codec. It will be if necessary deinterlacing. Suppose that the MPEG card is a MP4 container.

  I noticed several sensitive design techniques eliminate the old standbys, the animated banner. Either you can divide the static banner elements so that they stack up as the viewport shrinks. Or you could animate a segment of the banner and let that too piling up. Or you can optionally add 2 or 3 synchronized animated banners and let them all piling up as static elements, although this might give rise to slow loading times.

  Is there another method to embed the banner animated in the sensitive design (i.e. the smartphone size)? Or is it better just to let out on screens less than than 400px?

  I am completely new to LabVIEW and use especially for graphic animations.  I want to build a multimedia graphic where parts are dynamic (i.e. they change from red to green to indicate stopped execution of State respectively).  Some graphics that I found that is a tank with level controls and I intend to use these but I need to draw my own graphics and make them animated.  Most will be two binary States (i.e. red green) simple changes.

  I found the 'Pixmap.vi flattened draw' and have used it to make a simple graphical change of two States (see attached vi).  The problem I have is that I don't want the border to be shown in the graphic image and I want to make the background transparent.  I've saved the file .jpg with transparent backgrounds but they come out with a white background.

  Can anyone provide some simple explanations and advice please.

  Use the tool Palette. Go to the color tool. Click on the squares of color in the palette, and then assign the Foregraound and the background of transparent colors (white box with T top left when the color window is visible). Click the tool both on substance and on the border. Sometimes you may need to try several times on the border ge the exact position for the click.

  Note that this makes it difficult to find the control, so make sure it's in the position you want and as you like before you make it transparent size.

  I want to animate certain objects on the stage and allow the user to interact with them. My current solutions uses the timer class to deal with because (that's what I heard) air / the playbook does not support multithreading (yet).

  Now, I heard that the timer class is not very accurate, and really, I have determined that the animations aren't very smoove. Is there another way to solve my problem?

  While the PlayBook itself certainly supports multithreading (there are 154 lapping my Simulator right now!), there is basically no thread support in ActionScript, or air.  Fortunately, most of the time you can get by fine without using various techniques.

  Depending on the nature of your animation, you'll want to look in one or more of the following:

  1. The "ENTER_FRAME" event.  You will find many examples of this.  Flash programs have a 'frame rate' (essentially like a movie) and can respond to the events that are sent once per image.  The Flash docs treat these in various places (although sometimes they assume that you are not purely working with ActionScript).
  2. Using the class Tweener easily call periodic changes to one or more properties of an object any.  It is by far the easiest for many simple animations, such as dynamically move buttons.  It is readily available in the PlayBook with "import caurina.transitions.Tweener" so there is no good reason not to use it if it is appropriate for you.
  3. The class Timer you have found.  It is not "correct", but for what?  It is usually quite good, and the lack of accuracy (inaccuracy?) is no different from what any timer mechanism has in an environment no real time (and make no mistake, just running on top of the incredible QNX does little to make Flash applications that all "realtime" more than what they is on other systems).  You should get results very similar to a timer, as you would events chassis or other things.
  4. flash.utils.setTimeout or setInterval can do base calendar, although they would be considered a very low average level to do so.  I think they build right on top of timer, so there is no advantage to the use of these except an extreme simplicity.

• How flat Animation - ball and String?

  I created a base-ball, flat shape in Illustrator (just an oval and a triangle) and plan to import into After Effects. The ball will be moving upward (straight line) and I intend to add a string with a very slight tremor.

  Then, I thought that the best way to add the string would be to create a thin rectangle shape in After Effects itself.

  How do I fix this chain on the ball and animate it? It would be using the puppet tool? As well as an effect of earthquake?

  You used the string to the ToolTip with parents or you will put both the chain and ball in the shape layer. I probably wouldn't use corner puppet to animate the chain. I'll explain why later. I would use a rectangle for the chain, I would use the pen tool to draw an open path of contours.

  Once you have the selected path, you can add a host of form by clicking on the button Add and add a Wiggle the path that you use to string.

  If the ball and chain are separated layers parent just them. If they are both on the same layer, you must make sure that the Wiggle modifier only applies to the string. Then just animate the position of the string.

  To learn more about animation forms type shape layers in the search help field at the top right of EI and learn about the resources of the community. You will find information much better YouTube search for help.

  The reason I would not use puppet PIN as my first choice is that you can use any of the controls transform on a layer with puppet pin applied and the mesh must be dense enough to animate a string. If you do not want puppet pin allows to create an organic movement of the chain by recording your movements, you'd then have to dial all attributes before the puppets moving pin layer to the new layer then parent the layer spindle of nested balloon puppets and animate the position of the parent.

  One last thing. If you want an animation of rotation in the bubble, it would be a good idea to move the anchor Point of the layer ball at the bottom of the work, or you could use a null value as a parent for the ball and chain and position the anchor point of the null where you want the center of rotation.
