  Most of the phones will appear as a "disk" on your computer, and you can browse the files on them by simply opening them.

  If you can do this, you should be able to copy / delete / move files between the phone and the computer.

  It may be useful to what is currently considered a home video as a movie rather reclassified.  Select one of these items in iTunes and click read.  In the Info window, go to the Options tab.  Change the media kind of Home Video movie.  It should now appear in your library of films in film, no video for the House.  If your other files 'movie' (existing) can be arranged as you wish (you want in music for some reason any), it should also work for this film, which was previously a "home video".

  If it works to make a home video, you can select all of your remaining home video movies at the same time, do a multi-point informationand change their media type affecting the same way (in one shot).

  I tried to export a playlist in XML format, and then deleting the songs in my library, and then import the XML file.

  Unfortunately this does not work because iTunes can't find the songs in Apple's music even though he had only songs from Apple's music in the playlist before.

  I'd hate to have to create all my playlists once more just to empty my library.

  The library is in fact that index files and in showing them, not actually recording a copy I think. With Explorer open where you can see libraries, choose a category from the left such as the images pane and then right-click and choose Properties. In the window that opens, you should see your C:\ User\Pictures folder that is listed in the index. Click Select, and then click Remove. Now library should not index files. Select each category for example Documents, etc and do the same thing.

  I have an old PC with Windows XP and run my iTunes from there, with all my media files on an external hard drive. The iTunes is version 12.0.1.26.   I removed the new version of iTunes from the laptop and tried to open the old version of my EHD, but it won't let me and gives me an error iTunes error Windows error 126 7. I'm guessing that I have not all files necessary for the opening of iTunes on my DHM and some stay in the C drive of my old PC, but I don't know what needs to get through, it is possible to have all the files on the EHD program and open the old version of iTunes on my laptop this way. I took my DHM and reconnect the old PC and it still works very well from there.

  I have to say it's all become a bit of a mess over the years, as I tried to move everything related to iTunes, including program files, for my DHM, it would be reasonable to assume that I don't know where all the bits and pieces that need to run iTunes currently are on my old PC and DHM and something seems to be duplicated with similar looking for records in both places, probably as a result do not remove older versions during the upgrade as I should have done.   Have you tried to open it in the previous version of After Effects, i.e. in after effects CC 2014? If this isn't the case, please try and check if you get the same result.

  Welcome to the communities of Apple Support! Looks like all the applications listed in iTunes to sync your iPhone while you move your music. I can understand wanting to be able to customize the content that is on your device. I'll be more than happy to help!

  From what you describe, appears it option "automatically sync when this iPhone is connected" to be enabled. To activate which turns off, select the Summary tab and uncheck the box next to this feature. Once you have done this, you should be able to navigate between sections of content / media specific to choose what you want to synchronize with your device. After you apply these changes, it should appear on your iPhone. See the following article for advice on the content of sync on your iPhone:

  You should also ensure that you have enabled the option to manually manage content, as described in this article:
