Annotations of PowerPoint to PDF?

Recently I think I saved a pptx file which had comments/notes/annotations regardless of its name and as I was saving it to PDF - as I regularly do with ppt files, I got a transfer via the annotations dialog box.  I clicked Yes, and when I opened the pdf file, he had annotations/notes in the bubble of few comments on each page.

However, I can't understand how to do this again or at all.  Any thoughts?

I don't know who would be a feature of the PDF Maker to use. Check the properties of the PDF Maker in Powerpoint and try a few options.

PowerPoint animations are not carry to the PDF document. However, you can implement some transitions in a presentation PDF Acrobat implementation of a PDF for presentation.

  • Cannot convert PowerPoint to PDF

How to convert Powerpoint to PDF?

    Hey mariem51514455,

You need to connect to "https://cloud.acrobat.com/" using your Adobe ID and password.

Then, choose "Create a PDF file" tab to download the PPT file and convert it to PDF.

Then, you can download the converted file on your computer or even locate on the files tab.

Try the same way and let me know if you need help.

  • PowerPoint to PDF, back to PowerPoint

    Hello

I'm testing Adobe Acrobat XI for my company to use as a review tool. I created training materials in PowerPoint 2010. I then used the send Adobe PDF"option for shared Review" in PowerPoint. The reviewers used annotation tools to add their comments. Now I convert the PDF file into a PPTX so that I can make the changes.

The text and the images came back perfectly, but no updates on the master page.

In tools, I went to editing content > export a file to... > presentation PowerPoint from Microsoft. When I open the PPTX, mostly looks good, but it is not actually available to the master of the theme I created it in. In addition, some items are not presented properly.

In Acrobat, I also tried file > save as... > Presentation (.pptx) with the same results. In PowerPoint, I can reapply the original theme and reset each page layout, but it's a lot of rework.

Is it possible to create a PowerPoint presentation, convert it to PDF and then convert PowerPoint while keeping the original theme and layouts?

    Thank you!

Answer simple - don't. When you export to PDF, all the internal structure of the design of the presentation is lost, along with graphics, WordArt, etc., so Acrobat must make wild guesses about what is on a master page. While it cannot recreate the 'original' and was never designed for.

The correct workflow is to make the changes to the PPTX original file * hand *, using the comments as a guide PDF.

  • Captivate to Powerpoint or PDF?

    Hi all

Is there an easy way to export Captivate project to Powerpoint? Slide to slide to export, not to embed SWF in a Powerpoint Slide.

Also, is it possible to print the Captivate project or presentation in PDF format? Slide to slide.

    Any ideas will be appreciated.

    Thank you.

The "workaround" I would offer allows you to get images of Cp in PowerPoint.

as a preview, you can print on word, open the .docx word in zip file and capture the images, then import / insert images in PPT.

The key is: once you save a word with .docx file, you can rename it to .zip and ope the file as a zip archive and extract the images!

Open the zip file and navigate to the images.

    1) enter the folder of "word".

    (2) open the folder "media".

    (3) drag the images to slides PPT

On again, if you find more images that you care about drag-and - drop, you can have the ability to create a 'photo album' since it creates a slide for each image. Here is a link to a reference and a tutorial.

BATCH IMPORT of images in PowerPoint

    BTW, I say "maybe" as:

You get to the feature of the Photo Album in different ways, depending on the version of PowerPoint you have:

    • PowerPoint 2007 or 2010: click on the Insert tab, and then click Photo Album.
    • PowerPoint 2002 or 2003: choose Insert, image, the new Photo Album.
    • PowerPoint 2000, use the free Plug-in Album Photo Microsoft software component for PowerPoint 2000.
    • Versions of PowerPoint 97 and PowerPoint Mac do not have the Photo Album feature.
  • Can you Adobe Acrobat help with import of tracking changes and comments in Microsoft Word and convert these annotations and comments in PDF format?

I have a Word doc huge with more than 3,000 of the changes and comments to track changes. I hope that there is a way that Adobe Acrobat can simplify the conversion of annotations and comments of an annotated PDF file in just a few steps - vs having to do this work manually. Appreciate the tips and recommendations! Thank you!

Acrobat and Word are quite different types of applications. Namely, Acrobat isn't a word processing application, although many people think that it is and try to use it as such. Therefore, I don't think that this is possible. Annotations in the PDF file are nothing like the changes you can make in a Word file, or vice versa.

  • convert a PowerPoint to PDF

I managed to do it before, and now I don't know how I did it.

    Hi Howard,.

You can convert this PowerPoint file to PDF using Adobe Acrobat or PDF Pack. If you have Acrobat, choose file > create PDF from a file, select the PowerPoint file and then click Open.

With Adobe PDF package, you can connect to the web interface at https://cloud.acrobat.com, click on create a PDF file, click Select files to convert to PDF navigate to your PowerPoint file and then click Open. (You can also do this from in Reader if you have a subscription Pack PDF.)

  • Annotating and save a pdf doc

My friend sent me a doc pdf multipage for proofreading/editing.

CS6 it swallowed up in the form of multiple images (one per page).

I selected each and marked it with the brush and sometimes the text tool.  This fine all worked out.

But when I tried to combine and save the images as a simple doc I couldn't understand the process so I had to send the doc piecemeal return as both PDF.

There is more docs pending.  How can I mark the top and send docs to return also marked instead of separate pages?

    Thank you!

File - automate - PDF presentation, it was placed back in CS6 for multi page PDFs are possible.

    Hi debbiek53961447,

Yes, you can convert the PDF back to the PowerPoint presentation using Acrobat software.

You can download a free trial using this link: https://www.acrobat.com/en_us/free-trial-download.html#

Once the program is downloaded and installed successfully, you must go to file-> export to-> Microsoft PowerPoint presentation to convert your file.

  • PDF, flattening of dialogue when printing PDFs which is converted from PowerPoint presentations

When you try to print certain PDF documents that have been converted from powerpoint to PDF, I get a dialogue flattening when printing. This dialogue takes forever and makes it almost impossible to print. I get that this dialogue in Adobe Reader X and that doesn't happen in other players (like FoxIt for example). How can I fix this in Reader X so it can't?

The process used to convert presentations PowerPoint is to go to record and send, create the document (which opens in word), then save from Word to PDF.

    Thanks in advance!

The problem is caused by transparent objects. The file must be flattened to print correctly. Player has no option for flattening and not the possibility to save the file in an image format that will ignore the transparent areas, but it can print the file as an image. In the print dialog box click on the Advanced button, and then select 'print picture '.  File will process without any additional latency time and print exactly as it appears on your screen.

  • Open different types of automated as 1 PDF data

    Hello Adobe community.

I'm curios if it is possible to convert and open some Excel-PowerPoint files and with less effort (best case) as a PDF document 1 automated.

I know that it is possible manually, but with the increased effort increases to amount of files.

However, what I'm looking for is like a script combining and opening some files (Excel, PPT) on a folder in a single pdf.

Hope you might have some ideas,

I'm pretty new here and lost in the world of COMPUTING.

    See you soon

    Hello

Not sure, it relates a lot to InDesign unless you're talking about loading Excel files in InDesign, then export to PDF. But if it's all about batch conversion of excel and powerpoint to PDF files, then InDesign is not the tool you need.

  • Import Annotations with JavaScript?

Can someone help me with batch import annotations of a tot in a pdf file.

    My workflow is as follows:

-J' have several folders containing a single pdf file with annotations.

-J' use the following code in an Action to retrieve the annotations:

    / * Exporting FDF * /.

    this.exportAsFDF({cPath:this.path.replace(/\.pdf$/i,".fdf"),bAnnotations:true});)

-The result of the foregoing, it is that I have the following files in each folder:

    0.PDF

    Document.FDF

-I then replace the old pdf with a new version. This file is named exactly the same as that of the old.

-The last step would be to import fdf annotations to the new pdf file.

I know importAnFDF, but whenever I try to use it, I wonder to find the fdf file.

My guess is that I need to get the path of the import file to take the path of the current pdf document and replace the extension .pdf with .fdf.

Is this possible at all and if the pointers would be really appreciated?

    Thank you

    Mike

OK - so I do not really understand my code before, but I do now thanks to your direction.

For everyone looking to do something similar:

    / * Import FDF * /.

    importAnFDF ({cPath:this.path.replace(/\.pdf$/i,".fdf")})

I'm not sure who wins the right answer on this one if gkaiseril?

  • A pdf file in Acrobat cloud maybe blocked password?

I was wondering if we can the password to lock a pdf file that is located in the cloud to Adobe Acrobat? Maybe it's a redundant question, because it is assumed that all the files in the cloud of Adobe are protected in that sense to know the credentials (username and password) to connect to Adobe Cloud?

    Hello

All files that you have uploaded to Adobe Document cloud are available to you (or the person who signs with the unique credentials: user name & password).  No one else has access to your files in the cloud.

In addition, you can restrict access to individual PDF documents by setting passwords using the desktop version of Acrobat Professional or Standard DC.

Securing PDF files with passwords, Adobe Acrobat

    Please note:

    • Acrobat Reader (desktop and mobile) apps don't offer the ability to create password-protected PDF documents.
    • Once the PDF documents are protected by password, you will not be able to make changes (e.g. adding annotations, fill forms) for PDF documents using Acrobat Reader mobile apps (for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone).  There is a limitation in Acrobat Reader mobile apps only.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Thank you.

  • How to reduce the file size of PDF in a personalized way?

Adobe Acrobat is installed on my Macbook Pro. I plan to buy it. When to convert a Word document or a PowerPoint to PDF it almost doubles the size of the file. I can't find any menu where I can reduce the size of file in a personalized way. There is the button "reduce file size", but clicking on this file size remains large and doesn't not allow any personal reductions. What is your policy on that? Thank you.
