Annoying beep volume?, here's a solution!

That someone else finds the beep of annoying volume on android devices. Every time I used to turn my volume up and down it would beep with each press. I tried dragging the slider, but it's annoying for me.

Fortunately, I found a fix for this that works with Motorola devices without rooting the phone. The application is called Noyze and he stopped development and went open source. They released an apk already compiled you can find here

To stop the beeps, he must go on the program, and then select Audio and media, from there you press Volume adjust sound and together the sound of silent option. Now your phone will remain silent when you change the volume with the buttons!

Here is the original with the new site...

  • Annoying beep of Satellite P10 873

    Hi, im this annoying beep intermittently from my toshiba, ive had more than 3 years and over the last 3 months or so this started beep to sound.

    It looks like a number being pressed on a pad of phone, very loud sound and the most annoying numbering and occurs randomly.

    Some days I don't hear it at all.
    I searched on through all the settings for modems, and system sounds.

    Control Panel and programs to no result and ive heard when nothing is connected to the pc to avoid externel gadgets

    Also I searched this problem a few times and there is no apparent answer, my supermulti drive cannot read CD more but it can burn, it is said that every cd I put in that is a blank CD - r, it reads the dvd but cannot burn DVDs and it will not read ram dvd more all solutions outside a new drive?

    It looks like a serious hardware issue... you spilled some liquid top? Such a sound comes from a key that is pressed constantly, this may also occur when keys are stuck because of some dirt in the keyboard or liquid that has dried and is today a sort of 'super-key-glue' that allows keys get stuck.

    Did you notice that some keys are "suspended"?
    Regarding your disk: have you ever tried a few updated firmware? And this is surely more interesting: what programs burning or cd player for the applications you have installed?

    welcome them

  • Annoying beep

    After installing the recent updates, my computer started to emit a loud, annoying beep whenever it pops up a message. (i.e., print the completed task, do you want to save changes, etc..)

    I have disabled all sounds via the Control Panel, but that he did not stop. I used system restore and that helped until updates resettled and I've been to the beep.

    How can I disable this feature? It is very annoying to my colleagues and myself.

    Click Start

    Click on run

    Type devmgmt.msc and press enter

    In Device Manager, click view, and then click Show devices

    Enlarge (click on +) Non - Plug and Play devices

    Right-click to beep, and then click Properties

    Click the driver tab and change the type of boot to disabled

    Click OK

    Restart the PC and the test.

  • T500 annoying beep! (the cause is not battery power management and no BEEP in Device Manager)

    I have ThinkPad T500, 2241, CTO. Whenever laptop starts, there's an annoying beep. It is not a signal that can be had when the power state changes. BIP is both in power and disabled Manager in the power management BIOS section. In addition, in the Device Manager in the list of non-plug-and-play, I disabled the BEEP. This noise is still there. Update BIOS. However, there is no other section in the BIOS where I can disable the beep. Help, please!

    There's nothing there. I contacted Lenovo support center - they said a beep at the beginning is fine and standard, nothing to worry.

  • BBM BBM always associate? Here is the solution, without formatting.

    Sometimes, when we go to a new BB device or he put in place after a restore and opens the BBM, the latter says something like, "combining BBM with your e-mail address. The problem is that this process of association continues for weeks or months for some unknown reason. However, here is the solution whitch I discovered coincidedly.

    1 - Go to settings > Date & time.

    2 disable both "Auto Update Time Zone" & "set Date and time automatically.

    3. on the same page, change the date and time in the past, as the month before.

    4 - Close BBM and restart your device.

    5. after rebooting, open the BBM. He will tell you that time & date are wrong, and you will get an an exit button, press EXIT and close the BBM.

    6 - reopen BBM; now, you have two options (output or switch BBM), choose "BBM Switch".

    7. it will not associate with your email again, but this time, it should not take more of han of 30 seconds.

    You're all set. Enjoy.

    Let me know or hit as if it works for your device.

    I spoke too fast, the user I messaged 6 hours later saying that BBM finally assocated. Looks like it worked after all!

    Thanks for the fix!

  • Question of Toshiba Satellite L3 * CD/DVD! Here is my solution. How about you?

    Hello everyone. Today, I see on this forum people discuss issues of CD/DVD on L30/L300/L350. I want to share my experience on this issue and hope that everyone shares your experience as well.

    My laptop Toshiba L30 PSL33 and Toshiba L300 PSLB2E there. I'm lucky that I have no problem with discs/CD/DVD players I can the reading/writing/reading CD/DVD gently. However, I used to have some problems with the CD/DVD drive on my laptop. Here is my experience.

    (1) make sure that there is no other CD/DVD software on your computer (with the exception of the original Toshiba Software). Especially to those who have served using Nero. If you have problems, try to remove Nero and test with one supported by Windows

    (2) If you still have problems, try to update the firmware of the DVD drive. It can be done by visiting the site support for Toshiba driver (http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/). Check which drive you have by looking in the Device Manager. Download the new firmware from here and update your player.

    (3) my last solution. If you have Vista pre-installed, try to get a XP version on your computer and do not install any other software. Test/copy a CD using writing tool of windows to see if the problem is resolved or not.

    In my opinion. the main reasons you can encournter are: there are CD/DVD players have XP firmware basis and must be updated so that they can be used on Vista. or there are programs like Nero and PowerDVD are at the origin of the conflict between the controllers of the ACPI (real or simulated).

    Hope this can help you all. If you have other experiences, please share them with everyone.

    PS: Please excuse my language that I'm not a native English speaker.

  • Locale in the Cascades Momentics model code is broken. Here is the solution...

    The Momentics application, it is easy to start new projects by basing your new application on a predefined model. The problem is that the regional settings, change the code in the application model Cascades do not work properly and developers who don't understand this will serve strings bad language to their users. The locale of the model code looks like this...

    void ApplicationUI::onSystemLanguageChanged() {    QCoreApplication::instance()->removeTranslator( this->_translator );

        // ---Initiate, load and install the application translation files.
        QString locale_string = QLocale().name();
        QString file_name = QString( "AppName_%1" ).arg( locale_string );
        if ( this->_translator->load( file_name, "app/native/qm" ) ) {
            QCoreApplication::instance()->installTranslator( this->_translator );
        }
    }

    The problem is that QLocale () .name () returns the region code by DEFAULT to the language setting of the user device, ignore the region on the device setting. For example, with the language set to English device and the region set to 'United States (English)', 'United Kingdom (English),' "(English) Canada" or "Australia (English)", QLocale () .name () will ALWAYS return en_US. Similarly, with the device language set to French, and the region, the value 'Canada (French)', QLocale () .name () will return en_US, not fr_CA as it should. It is behavior actually expected QLocale, not only in the Cascades, but in Qt ordinary too.

    The solution is simple. Rather than QLocale () .name () you use QLocale::system().name() instead, which fills a QLocale with the setting of the unit in the region, not only the language CORRECTLY. The code above should be...

    void ApplicationUI::onSystemLanguageChanged() {    QCoreApplication::instance()->removeTranslator( this->_translator );

        // ---Initiate, load and install the application translation files.
        QString locale_string = QLocale::system().name();
        QString file_name = QString( "AppName_%1" ).arg( locale_string );
        if ( this->_translator->load( file_name, "app/native/qm" ) ) {
            QCoreApplication::instance()->installTranslator( this->_translator );
        }
    }

    I suspect that there are hundreds of BB10 apps out there using the code of the default model where developers can't read the languages that they located, and so they do not realize that French Canadian users get the Parisian French translation, for example. It's not so bad with English, French, Spanish, etc., where variants are close enough to the base language, but the regional variants of Chinese are in fact completely different languages.

    In any case, type a few extra characters in a single line of your application code will solve this problem. Now if only we could get the Momentics model updated with the hotfix.

    After I posted the original explanation in this thread, I realized that handling locale of the waterfall model is still more broken that I realized the original. I noticed that, although incomplete, the model code would address changes for the system language settings, but he completely ignored changes in the region during the execution of the application. My original fix the problem repairs where the region has been completely ignored, but she does not answer that becomes the region while the application is running has no effect on the text displayed in the application.

    This means that if the user changes of American English in the English-speaking Canada, while the application is running the application will continue to display American English until it is restarted. It's particularly bad, if the system language is Chinese, as changing the region can result in a totally different language. It has proved to be more sensitive to this problem than I expected, but here's what you need to do to make your application respond to changes in the region put in too.

    The first thing to know is that there are two LocaleHandler classes in Cascades, and they perform different functions related though. One that is used in the model code is defined in , but one that we must manage changes in region is defined by . The fact that we have two classes with the same name in our application means that we explicitly specify that we speak and cannot if press "using namespace" condense our code.

    It's the language Manager changed the system (including the difficulty I described above)...

    void ApplicationUI::onSystemLanguageChanged()
    {
        QCoreApplication::instance()->removeTranslator(m_pTranslator);

        // Initiate, load and install the application translation files.
        QString locale_string = QLocale::system().name();
        QString file_name = QString("AppName_%1").arg(locale_string);
        if (m_pTranslator->load(file_name, "app/native/qm")) {
            QCoreApplication::instance()->installTranslator(m_pTranslator);
        }
    }

    Let's change this code to that...

    void ApplicationUI::onSystemLanguageChanged() {
        this->setLocale( QLocale::system().name() );
    }

    void ApplicationUI::onRegionChanged() {
        bb::system::LocaleHandler* localHandler = qobject_cast( sender() );

        this->setLocale( localHandler->locale().name() );
    }

    void ApplicationUI::setLocale( const QString& locale ) {
        QCoreApplication::instance()->removeTranslator( this->_translator );

        // ---Initiate, load and install the application translation files.
        QString file_name = QString( "AppName_%1" ).arg( locale );
        if ( this->_translator->load( file_name, "app/native/qm" ) ) {
            QCoreApplication::instance()->installTranslator( this->_translator );
        }
    }

    He must also change the code in the constructor of ApplicationUI of this...

    ApplicationUI::ApplicationUI() {
        // prepare the localization
        m_pTranslator = new QTranslator(this);
        m_pLocaleHandler = new LocaleHandler(this);

        bool res = QObject::connect(m_pLocaleHandler, SIGNAL(systemLanguageChanged()), this, SLOT(onSystemLanguageChanged()));    // This is only available in Debug builds    Q_ASSERT(res);
    }

    .. .for this...

    ApplicationUI::ApplicationUI() {
        // prepare the localization
        m_pTranslator = new QTranslator(this);
        m_pLocaleHandler = new bb::cascades::LocaleHandler(this);

        bool res = QObject::connect(m_pLocaleHandler, SIGNAL(systemLanguageChanged()), this, SLOT(onSystemLanguageChanged()));
        // This is only available in Debug builds
        Q_ASSERT(res);

        bb::system::LocaleHandler* systemLocaleHandler = new bb::system::LocaleHandler( LocaleType::Region, this );    success = QObject::connect( systemLocaleHandler, SIGNAL( changed() ), SLOT( onRegionChanged() ) );    Q_ASSERT( success );
    }

    Once you have made any changes your app will meet changes in the region and the language system changes. Note that I don't provide code so that changes to the ApplicationUI.hpp to support the changes above, but rather than leave it to the reader.

  • Cannot upgrade/change/install Flash Player versions? For users of ZoneAlarm, here is a solution.

    For the past two weeks now, I was faced with the problem of not being able to properly install my flash version 9 player. I get would be the installation, of course, but they would be damaged facilities. I can't view certain websites in flash, and they stop install me FlashPlayer, even when I have version 9! At least that's what the computer tells me.

    After scouring all over the internet for similar problems, I noticed these cases more correlations. Another dilemma plagued me little time after, I realized that I couldn't change my homepage as well!

    Then I read the various cases of other people and what was striking, but they seemed all use ZoneAlarm firewall products. Soon, I found that the new firewall/OS product feature is the suspect.

    For users of ZoneAlarm Firewall (specifically with detail using OSFirewall versions), OSFirewall might lock your internet settings, startup programs, host file, but more importantly, your ActiveX files! Zone Labs included this feature to make the product much more coldly, but they do not realize that we, the users, need these files as well.

    The solution is simple. Simply navigate to the control program in ZoneAlarm (I use Pro). In the main tab, you should see the "Program Control" options. Below, there is a button "Custom". Click on that and go to the tab "OSFirewall" Alto! There are these turds. Left-click on the second column options will give the choice to leave. If you want to make sure that this unnecessary feature don't mean your settings again, I suggest you give all the permissions 'Allow' (notches).

    NOTE: even if you disable 'Program Control' or OSFirewall, you need to activate OSFirewall and change the permissions. This is because permission settings will be always locked to those present. In big, even if you disable OSFirewall and have the "Install ActiveX" setting refuse, it is still in denial permission. Check the marks all the way.

    If you still have problems, and you still feel that ZoneAlarm is the cause of the problems, I suggest you go tab 'Programs' from the control program. Here, you can view all the applications you have run your PC. Search for 'Macromedia' or 'Flash' of linked files and gives them all access to the internet and all the permissions. If you are not sure, remove all the non-Microsoft programs listed to reset these settings. When you install Flash Player again and you see requests for permission, just "let them".

    PS OSFirewall is not available on the free version of ZoneAlarm. Also, to make sure that ZoneAlarm is the cause of the problems, run a complete spyware and a virus scan. Most of the malware time causes these problems as well. Happy computing!

  • Annoying beep when PIN unlock, unsilences too

    My Droid Turbo will beep loudly I unlock the phone with my PIN code. It also changes the mute my phone to / strong ringtone no matter what.

    Why? and how to change it, it is driving me crazy. Especially if I'm somewhere where the phone needs to be silent. As I said before it locked.

    Well, I have it couldn't handle more and could not understand what caused it, so I did a full factory reset. Problem solved. Had to remove the nukes.

  • Autonomy of the batteries? Here is the solution!

    Most of the battery power goes to your connection 3G / 4G, GPS, WIFI and Bluetooth. You can turn off GPS, WIFI and Bluetooth, but the only way to disable the phone data is airplane mode and that will kill all data set.

    The solution? Juice Defender. You can find it on the market. It controls your data connection stopping when the screen turned off, allowing every 15 minutes to let email and other background internet access applications, then it turns off it back. When you turn on the screen, it allows the data until you close the screen to reverse. The PLUS version does the same thing with your WIFI connection as well. A value of $2!

    The results? Today my RAZR with moderate consumption is still 60% battery after 12 hours! Without this app I would be ready for a charge at this stage. Sure I could get 24 hours free of charge now.

    Setup is a breeze. Install the application, choose balanced and active. That's all! Another thing, I changed a uncheck DATA under the ABOUT screen, turn off the WIFI. If you don't do this then you might find that MMS messages do not download correctly.

    Sit and enjoy double the battery life!

    Mike

    PS no, I don't work for this company. It's just a great farm solution!
