Annoying toolbar in Excel and Word

After installing Master Collection CS3, my Microsoft Word and Excel now have a boring Contribute toolbar that appears whenever I start them. I know how to hide the toolbar, but it seems just back to each time you start Word or Excel.

How can I get rid of this "infection"? I don't want this toolbar (or menu) in my Microsoft Office programs.

Thank you

In any case, XP has the system restore (see program help and support for more details) that could save your bacon by allowing you to return to the rear for just before your accident.

  • Windows 7 Excel and Word 2010 jump lists appear only not on the Start Menu

    Hello

I would like to apologize if this is in the wrong section... I got here by looking at another thread, which ultimately does not solve my problem. I read the same solutions on dozens of different threads and not one has done something to help, so I thought I'd try to ask once again, indicating that I have tried and see if anyone has any other ideas!
... I also like to apologize if "jump list" is the wrong term. I mean, it is when I click on my Start Menu, and "Microsoft Word/Excel 2010" icon is the small arrow on the side right does not allow me to click everywhere for what files I recently consulted on Word. I have exactly the same problem in Excel 2010, but No problem at all for Powerpoint 2010 and it seems that programs such as Notepad and so forth are very well as well.
    What I did:
    1. right click on 'Taskbar', click 'Properties', select the "Start Menu" tab, under "Privacy", I checked the boxes ("Store and display recently opened programs in the start menu" and "Store and display recently opened items in the start menu and the taskbar").
Make a right-click on 'Taskbar'-> properties-> select Menu-> customize-> items recent fact make it appear a list but less it is tab and not attached to the application (which is what I want to xD).
My original problem was that the list of recent items for Word has not been updated and it was stuck on what he was about 3 months - which eventually prove needless after I lived my computer and deleted, renamed and moved a bunch of word documents! Unchecking the boxes got rid of the arrow completely, and when I checked hide them he refused to reappear for Word and Excel.
    2. I was at '% AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations' all files deleted from here and restarted my computer - ' 1b4dd67f29cb1962.automaticDestinations - ms' seem to be for the word, and I think that ' 3d961d1bb3da929c.automaticDestinations - ms' are to Excel. I have them I deleted, I moved it out of the folder, I renamed them, I sang for them, etc. etc. and every time it did not work.
This seems to be a really popular solution that works for most of the time everybody... it does not work for me!
I've also been to '% ' AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinations and deleted everything from there.
    3. I checked that related to open different file extensions in Excel and Word programs are associated with Excel and Word. Everything seems to be strong in that Department.
I use Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and fight with versions of Word and Excel 2010!
Then... I don't think anyone has any other ideas?
    Thank you in advance!

I emptied two recent used folders but did not work.   Then I fixed my office installation to add/remove programs in the control panel and that did the trick.  I have office 2007 and 2010 installed, but make sure that I only use 2010.  Will probably uninstall 2007.

  • Satellite A200 - 23K - Excel and Word has stopped working

    Hello!

I have a problem on my Toshiba Satellite A200 - 23 k. I installed windows 7 and office 2010. I have a problem whenever I try to run excel or word it stop working. It shows who has stopped working the window.

Maybe someone had the same problem and knows a solution? Thank you in advance. Waiting for answer

    Hey Buddy,

As far as I know Office 2010 isn't on the market yet and he s only available beta version.

You must choose an official version of the office such as Office 2007 or 2003. Both versions work well and most of the problems he's already resolved.

  • Excel and Word programs missing

A teenager was on my computer and he put a Power Point. Now, when I click on start / all programs, my Excel files and Word programs seem to have disappeared.  I still see a few spreadsheets but can not open them - it's like I don't have Excel! ??

    I have a Dell XPS 400 computer.

Click Start > all programs > Microsoft Office

It will be the office programs.

There will also be a subfolder for tools.

It will be a diagnostic option you can click so it can repair your office programs.

I have an old Vista machine and when I installed Windows 8 they programs have disappeared, but the personal files remain.   What should I use to create new documents?

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community!

It seems that you have selected "keep nothing" while upgrading to Windows 8 Windows Vista.

What option did you choose during the upgrade?

You can consult the section 'what can I keep when I update' ' if I update and keep nothing howw do restore my files after the upgrade "at the following link:

    Upgrade to Windows 8

Re-install Office on Windows 8 using the desktop drive and the product key.

    I hope that helps!

  • Minimizing keep them Windows (excel, internet, word)

My windows keep minimizing if I work on the internet or type in excel and word, or simply looking at the screen.  It used to be from time to time, but now they close every two seconds.

I tried the two security systems, used the Microsoft Safety Scanner, and it says no virus.  I tried the suggestions of the community, because it seems that a lot of people have this problem.  So I guess it's a problem with Microsoft.  My computer is only three years old.

Hope someone can help us.  Thank you.

    Karen

Just to double check, it is only not this - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Minimize-windows-on-the-desktop-using-Shake . Also check 'activate the window by hovering over it with the mouse "in the section 'make the mouse easier to use' of ' ease of access." (I guess not but just to check).

If you have not already, download, install, update and run a full scan with malwarebytesfree. Keep it free, no need to enter any trial. That is not everything about malware or it own report?

A test, have a read of the following article, and operate the system as 'clean boot' Is the stop minimizing or he is still ongoing? Whatever happens do not leave as a clean boot, just use it to test and diagnose the problem.

  • I cannot enter data in any of my spreadsheets Excel or Word online.

Initially I had MicroSoft Excel and Word 2010 Starter Version came with my PC.  Later, I tried MicroSoft Home edition trial.  The trial period has expired, and I can't enter data into one of my documents Word or Excel spreadsheets.  So, in desperation I chose to buy the Home and Business 2010 package, but when I try to order it, and press continue to purchase my browser indicates that this page is not available.  Now I'm stuck with no working version of office and no way to upgrade.  How can I return the version began Office 2010?

    Thank you

You are using the trial of Office and not Office Starter versions, programs & features uninstall MS Office, reboot, and then repair Office Starter

Do not simply close their windows. Choose EXIT their menus. If they were all off at the stop, they should not re-launch at startup.

But if you simply close they windows, they are still worn running. next time you start, it will be open again.
