Anomaly in CS3 stitched panorama.

I created a panorama stitched in PS CS3.  The LR3 file shows an anomaly in the picture that looks like a problem of couture, but which is not visible in the PS and is actually in the middle of one of the images, nowhere near a transition zone in the panorama...  The anomaly does not appear in the panorama tiff file when viewing in Bridge, but when you create a jpg exported LR3 is present.  The file is a 54MB file created from 4 HDR TIFF.

Thanks for the help.

I see what is happening. You probably have a clone operation defined in Lightroom. You have to go in developing and open the Panel clone/heal (the small circle with an arrow right below the histogram) and press reset. It is probably caused by a preset that you apply to importation.

Exit the editor, and then restart it by pressing ctrl + alt + shift (command + option + shift for a mac). Keep possession of the keys until you see a window asking if you want to delete the settings file. You do.

  • Photomerge DNG files stitches 16-bit/32-bit RGB/8 * panoramas

    Hello

I'm trying of Photomerge in Photoshop (via file/automate/Photomerge) lets you assemble multiple RAW files in a panorama. I tried the two 12-bit ORF and DNG files 16-bit/32-bit, but for some reason the stitched panorama is always in RGB 8-bit (RGB/8 *).

I also tried poking the OpenEXR (32 bit) files, and for these, I get the panorama in 32-bit.

If any idea why O.r.f.s. and DNG is stitched only in 8 bit?

    Thank you!

my ipod touch received a text and panoramic photo from an iphone 6se, now my messages are empty and starts a restart, is there a way to fix this?

I can't really answer this question completely because I don't know what software was used, or what processes might have been involved in stitching panoramic photo. A possible "fix" would be to save the image on an external and view on a larger screen - like an iMac.

If your version is actually 4.3.2 is perhaps part of the problem. The latest version of iOS is 9.3.5.

  • Panorama has blown highlights!

I sewed a Panorama from 3 Tiff images. In the Tiffs all the highlights are fine, that I was preparing before! In the stitched Panorama of DNG, among the highlights are blown! So I can't use the Panorama!

Create a panorama with TIFF files produces a DNG file with cut highlights in the raw data. Here's the view in RawDigger showing the capture of raw data:

I exported three TIFF files with a - 1.0 exposure setting to work around the difference of ~1.0 EV exposure 'in the know' and the panorama DNG has no clipping (as expected).

The solution is to shoot with fixed aperture and the shutter speed (i.e. the manual exposure mode) settings. Doing so prevents the exposure compensation to be applied during the mail merge to Panorama. The best solution is to use raw files, which creates a panorama DNG with the raw image data unmodified regardless of exposure setings.

EDIT: I checked one of my raw panorama file sets with an EV 1.0 as the difference in exposure to lead shot. The panorama DNG has sunk areas that are fully recoverable in the original raw file. So the only way to avoid this is to shoot at an opening and fixed shutter speed. Counter on the area most brilliant to prevent highlight clipping.

  • Why did I lose image quality when you export a panoramic photo of the LR5 in jpeg format

I started using cc LR5 and photoshop to stitch panoramic photos.  Started with 7 RAW files and got a good image in LR5 final.  When I export to jpeg to save the file or print it becomes a file 5 MB and not big enough for printing.  I set the 100% quality and also tried to limit the file size to 20 MB, but it seems to automatically compress the file.  Thank you.

JPEG "file size" will be smaller because it uses a lossy compression. In the right panel Libray module under "metadata that you see for" Dimensions?.'"."

  • How to fix a sky in a picture sewn?

I just started using Photoshop CC. I have a stitched panoramic picture in which the sky does not match between the individual images. I tried to match the color by adjusting the balance, but this resulted in a limit of the root of the hair because I couldn't match the two halves perfectly.

How can I fix without replacing the entire heaven?

    Thank you for your help.

you could set your concealer to sample all layers and then do the repair on one of your layers, or enter a wide around the area selection, copy it into a new layer and repairs it. Brush settings would change depending on the size of your image.

Regular proofreader, sampling different areas you want to keep watching as it has been cloned on.

  • Interchangeability of Lighroom/Photoshop, especially for HDR photos

I bought and downloaded from Amazon, Lightroom 5, recently upgrade to 5.7. I tried to do HDR photos and give back - after posting a question on this point - I need to have something distinct to merge. I downloaded free Photomatix. When I'm reading tutorials in Adobe/Lightroom they keep referring to Photoshop, as if it was completely interchangeable with Lightroom, especially when it is used to help merge when you do HDR photos. I appreciate this may sound silly, but I have to buy separately just Photoshop if I HDR photo merge? If I have I don't see the point of spending more money on Photoshop just to do this or have Lightroom, I misunderstood? Thank you.

There are some tasks that do not have Lightroom, HDR and stitching panoramas are a few examples. Photoshop and Lightroom work well together as a team. Another solution would be to add Photoshop Elements to your workflow. It is much cheaper than Photoshop and has most of the features photography you need. You should also consider the plugins Google Nik. There is a plugin HDR that is part of this collection.

Lightroom is a parametric Editor, which means that adjustments are not implemented directly in the image file. The changes are stored in a database called the catalog. Lightroom does not change the content of a master image that is imported into Lightroom pixel. Therefore, there are some tasks that cannot be accomplished using Lightroom. If another external editor can be useful in certain situations.

  • Stitch a panorama 360, 2 battery?

I'm fairly new to Photoshop and not even sure if this is possible. Anyway, I know how to assemble a normal 360 panorama of say 8 photos, but I would like to be able to assemble a panorama which has 2 or even 3 layers. If for example I would take 8 pictures all around an angle formed by a drone, but then 8 more with the camera of the drone tilted downwards a little. From there, I would take all 16 images to make a panorama that is much thicker than if it was just a normal single layer of photos. Any help on how to do this in Photoshop or Lightroom would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure what you mean by layers in this context. However, if you mean that you can stitch together photographs that have been taken in a series horizontally, and using several rows vertically, at the same time then the answer is Yes.

In the case of Lightroom - select the photos in the library and then use Photo PhotoMerge - Panorama. Then select a projection - decide whether to autocrop etc and let Lightroom it's stuff.

The example below is not complete 360 but a set of images covering a part of a building - sewn using PhotoMerge Panorama

In Photoshop, the process is similar. Open your images - use controller - PhotoMerge. Choose your images and a projection - then let it do its stuff. In this case, you will get a paper multilayer - aligned according to the chosen projection and with masks. Example under cover of the projection of 'Auto' below:

  • I have LR5 and CS3 on Win7. Merge to Panorama worked perfectly until I had a crash.

I rebooted both now "merge to Panorama in Photoshop' so that 'Open as Smart Object in Photoshop', 'merge to HDR in Photoshop' and 'Open as layers in Photoshop' are all greyed out. "Editing in another Application" and "Edit in Photoshop CS3" are good and work very well. Still, Photoshop doesn't views ok on his own, just no longer in conjunction with LR. I rebooted LR5 and CS3 again, haven't installed update - no change. Any help would be appreciated.

    J.R.S.

Yes, I uninstalled and reinstalled both requests, and I work with original images. I probably have about two dozen panoramas before the crash.

    Thank you, JRS

  • Panorama Stitching

Someone had photoshop CS6 struggle with panoramas and corresponding horizons.

I have a large overlap. Automatic stapling produce bad results so I straignted every horizon to aid CS6

    Always had bad results

Something similar has been discussed earlier. We found was with the water in the picture. The water is never static and Panorama applications have a hard time dealing with that.

But the solution that helped the original poster of the other thread Hugin. It's an application open source which does just this - panorama stitching.

  • Is there a limit of photo when stitching a panorama?

I am trying to create a panorama of 7 photos. The result is only created from the last four without the thrown error, missing the first half of the picture. Also tried to create a panorama from the first 4 3 and the last, that works, but can't sting two panoramas together (review of your choice).

I understand that the limit is more long size of 65000 pixels or a maximum number of pixels to 512 million pixels, whichever comes first.

  • Auto open in LR a Panorama stitched in PS 6 6.1

    Hello

Hope you and your loved one are very good.

I sitch my panoramas in Ps after editing the images in LR. Until today, the panorama "recorded under" in the PS opened automatically in LR. It is no longer the case and I don't understand why.

    Could someone help?

Thanks in advance for your answers

    Tom

    Hi Thomas,

You are all simply not able to get the panorama in Lightroom, once you have edited in Photoshop, or his going with all the images you have purchased in Photoshop for further editing from Lightroom.

Please make sure you are clicking on 'Save' option on the file menu to get this file in LR. When you click on "Save as", you essentially create a new file, independent of the LR sent to the PS; as LR does not know this 'new' file, it will not import into the catalog.

Please help us with your version of Photoshop and the details of the operating system as well so that we can help you.

    Concerning
