another "Edit in photoshop" and keyboard shortcut question

I have PSCS6 32 bit and 64 - bit installed on my computer (usual default installation). When I installed then LR4, he chose PSCS6 64-bit as external editor by default automatically without asking my preference.

I always use PSCS6 32 bit and not the 64-bit version.

While I can add 32-bit of PSCS6 as an "additional external editor" program and access it from a right-click context menu to edit a picture of LR4, I can't use Ctrl + Dresser + hotkey E since this will always program launch bit the unwanted PSCS6 64.

Is there a way to restore this convenience of keyboard shortcut for my 32-bit program?

Thanks in advance!

Operating system: Windows 7 Professional

Scott,

Try to shoot to the top of your 32-bit on its own version. Let it run in the background. Try again your Ctrl-E. Should I just use the 32-bit program running?

If you still wish to JPGs of Photoshop-

Open preferences / surface-mounted and set the "File Format" in JPG format.

    The procedure is then:

    Select the image in LR

Right click and choose "Edit in"-Photoshop.

When you are done in Photoshop, use 'save' (or simply close the photo, and PS will ask you to "Save")

    * Do NOT use 'Save AS'.

Whenever you use 'Save AS' and change the file format (for eg. open as TIFF, save as jpg or open as RAW and save - AS a different format preferably LR) Lightroom does not know this 'new' file that you create.

As you note - any file will save in the folder, and to see these 'new' files LR you need simply Right click the FOLDER and "synchronize a folder...". "This 'important' the 'new' image in the library.

Mohit suggestion is another way to get the image in LR, keeping it in a file auto-importations, but you will need to set up this folder first as in his music video screen, is not available by default.

  • Keyboard shortcut question

  • Qosmio G20-126: remote control and keyboard shortcuts media do not work

    Hello all,.

I think have deleted by mistake all my HKLM startup. I managed to restore the necessary executables to start manually but it seems to me miss a very important piece of the puzzle. More precisely the file executable (or Department) responsible for the Qosmio multimedia shortcut keys and remote.

If anyone knows which executable (or service) is responsible for the press shortcuts keyboard/remote control I would appreciate their help to remedy this situation. Also if anyone has the startup configuration by default (see msconfig) to a Toshiba Qosmio G20-126 that would be also a great help for me. Just in case I missed something else.

    Hello

One question; Why you n t use the tool system restore to restore the OS to the point where you have changed the registry entries?

It is a simpler method to restore the settings!

If could also try to reinstall first the common Modules, then the controls.
This application which you can download from the Toshiba driver page!

  • What is the best way to learn photoshop and other adobe products?

I am an amateur photographer and all my editing was done in Lightroom. I know I have a unlimited creativity with my photos in Photoshop, and so the question comes up. I would like to learn how to use product to adobe as much as possible. What would be the best option? Graphic design of decision-making in a community college, to seminars, to youtube, books, day 2 courses etc... I know Adobe Tutorials but I would like to learn as much as I can out of Adobe.  Of the suggestions as to what type of courses or classes to take would be appreciated. Thank you in advance to Adobe and the Adobe community for your help!

No doubt personal lessons are the best (short courses and colleges) - and the most expensive!

There are some excellent books, such as quick start Guides and classroom in a book series.

The tutorials of Trainsimple.com and Lynda.com online video training are also very good. You can get a free 10 day trial with Lynda.com to try.

And you can always ask specific questions on the Adobe forums.

  • Photoshop and first 14 elements evidence of eligibility of the student

I ordered the student edition of Photoshop and Premiere Elements of 14 of the Australian Adobe shop and tried to provide proof of eligibility without success.  The message in the billing section of history of the order has always said "we always treat your order.» It could take up to 24 hours. Please check back later. "on my Adobe account.   I ordered this November 10. It's been almost a week!  I have an order number and the number of new cases (presentation of photo ID) on the spot as the previous case I submitted disappeared from my account.

I tried to call, but apparently this kind of question is not justify a call.  It would be nice if the support pages provided clear information and do not send me round in circles looking for a response. This could have been resolved with a five-minute telephone conversation.  I am very frustrated with Adobe and their 'support '.

I just checked the details of the order and approved your application.

You can check the same thing on your side. It can take up to 2-4 hours to appear at your end.

  • Involuntary keyboard shortcuts

    Hello

Recently installed windows seven and after I had run a few days this problem came: when I touch some of the keys on the keyboard I get shortcuts, it is somehow similar to stickkeys. The problem is that it appeared to me first after watching a movie on the computer and next time when I got it running during the night, which means I didn't do anything to start it. Does anyone has an idea what it depends and how get rid of it without having to restart my computer each time the problem appears?
    Thanful for an answer!
    Hannes

You can adjust these settings for your keyboard.

    1. open the brand of the keyboard easier to use page by clicking the Start button, click on the Panel on ease of access, clicking Ease of Access Center, and then clicking Make the keyboard more easy to use.

    2. Select the options you want to use:

    *

Turn on mouse keys. This option sets mouse keys to run when you log on to Windows. Instead of using the mouse, you can use the arrow keys on the keyboard or the numeric keypad to move the pointer.

    *

Turn on sticky keys. This option sets sticky keys to run when you log on to Windows. Instead of pressing three keys at the same time (for example, when you press the CTRL, ALT and DEL keys to open a Windows session), you can use one key by turning on sticky keys and adjusting the settings. In this way, you can press a modifier key and keep it active until the other touches.

    *

Activate the ToggleKeys. This option sets toggle keys to run when you log on to Windows. ToggleKeys can trigger an alert every time that you press the SHIFT CAPS LOCK, Numlock or SCROLLLOCK keys. These alerts can help avoid the frustration of a button by mistake and not realize it.

    *

Turn on filter keys. This option sets filter keys to run when you log on to Windows. You can set Windows to ignore keystrokes that occur in rapid succession, or keystrokes that are held down for a few seconds without wanting to.

    *

Note access keys and keyboard shortcuts. This option facilitates access to the keyboard in the dialog boxes highlighting the hotkeys for the controls in them.

    Try these options.

  • Error in download of images on a Web site after editing in photoshop

For the last year I have been regularly editing my photos in photoshop (CS5 and CS3) and download them on my blog and my fb page.

However, the last 45 days I edited 5 albums in photoshop but have not been able to upload a photo on fb or any other page. I moved browsers try chrome, fire fox and even IE but nothing helped. Then I formatted my laptop and reinstalled CS5 that is not too useful.

I tried to edit some photos in the Picasa database, and that worked well and was able to download pictures on fb and my blog.

Then I tried to download some old photos (edited in photoshop) and they are uploaded to get.

So, I am sure that this is a recent problem with photoshop. No matter what body it has a similar problem? Does anyone have a solution for this unique request?

    Please help and oblige.

    Concerning

    Margot,

Happy Diwali you too (late, rather)!

The image that you had posted is 1.5 MB, agreed.

But the size of the image is 9336px by 8721px - too much for a resizing of the image image plugin - same FB to manage.

Resize your image to an important resolution. Something on the lines of 2500px is always very good, but is not always advisable.

For facebook, remember to keep your images under 1500px wide as it anyway no matter on FB, if the image size is 8 k pixels or 1.5 k pixels.

    This will most certainly work.

  • Another question: keyboard shortcut for bar?

I have noticed the shift + Apple + shortened Q no longer works on CS4 for bar, goes into the Help menu instead. Is it hidden somewhere else, or do I have to set up in the preferences? I don't know that I would like to change that.

I would be grateful the help that I use a lot!

    Thank you

If you want to know the shortcut currently active, you can still select the keyboard shortcuts editor and click on the button 'Show Set'. It opens upward

a text document with * everything * (Yes * all * of them!) orders "interchangeable." This document opens in your default system text editor (on mine, it's Notepad) so you can use search to locate the item you want to check - if there is no combination of keys assigned, she simply reports "no sense."

  • Questions from the screen and keyboard on Satellite R830-181

    Hello

    I had exactly the same problem with it;
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?MessageID=280934

I also explained what is it and how it over time in this topic.

To sum up; my screen and keyboard do not work in my Toshiba Satellite R830-181, 13.3 '' laptop.

    My questions;
    1. is it a motherboard problem?

    2. as it runs on an external monitor, I guess that the graphics card or processor is fine.
There is no damage on the screen, so I guess there is a problem with the connection of the power supply to the screen.

If I buy a new screen I have my doubts it will work.

I'll probably send it to the service tech in my country (hard to find here reliable technology services Toshiba), however, I would like to know what may be the cause and if I can fix it myself.

What do you think guys? It is a power issue or a problem with the monitor itself?
If a power issue or something else rather than the screen, how can be fixed?
Same question applies to the keyboard.

    3. If I repair or fix myself, you think it will happen again? Because I think that this could be a faulty laptop computer of a certain series of production since someone else has experienced the same thing with this model.

can 4 - there be a relationship between the non-functional keyboard and screen?

    5. If this can be resolved with a replacement of the screen, that I need to find a laptop screen Toshiba R830 or I can buy any 13.3-inch screen?

As far as I know this model is not supported by the company more, so it is quite difficult to find a screen R830.
It is difficult to find a 13.3-inch screen, anyway, but still, if I can use the screen of another model which would ease my problems.

I need an idea on that.
    Thanks :)

    > 1 - is it a motherboard problem?
Not easy to say: If the external monitor works correctly then this isn't problem chart/motherboard.
The external USB keyboard works properly, if not motherboard problem too.

    > 2 - because it works on a monitor external I guess graphics card or processor is fine.
    Yes, that's correct.

    > If I buy a new screen I have my doubts it will work.
I do not recommend to buy the new parts before the defective parts has not been verified.

    > I'll probably send it to the service tech in my country (hard to find here reliable technology services Toshiba), however, I would like to know what may be the cause and if I can fix it myself.
Good idea to send it to Toshiba service partner since the guys would be able to control parts and fix it.

    > What do you think guys? It is a power issue or a problem with the monitor itself?
If a power issue or something else rather than the screen, how can be fixed?
    > Same question goes for the keyboard.

Don t think someone can tell exactly what's causing this according to me its just a bad luck material can start malfunction happens in every possible branch of industries (TV, computer, smartphone, cars)

can > 4 - there be a relationship between the non-functional keyboard and screen?
No, the keyboard is only connected to the motherboard, display is also connected to the motherboard, but there is no connection between the keyboard and the display.

  • My cut copy and paste keyboard shortcuts has randomly stopped working

my shortcut keyboard + x, C and V control has stopped working. I did not intentionally anything to turn them off, and after reviewing all the net for a solution I thought I would ask here cause I'm really at a loss

    Hi Crusix,

Welcome to the Microsoft Community and thanks for posting the question. I understand that the keyboard shortcuts cut copy / paste randomly stopped working.  Let me help you with the issue.

    1. What is the brand and model of the computer?

    2. what security software is installed?

    3. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?

    4. What is the brand and model of the keyboard?

To resolve this issue, let us try these methods:

    Method 1.

    Connect another keyboard and check.

Connect this keyboard on another computer and check the status.

    Method 2.

Try to use the on-screen keyboard on and check.

Type without using the keyboard (on-screen keyboard): http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Type-without-using-the-keyboard-On-Screen-Keyboard

    Method 3.

Run a full scan of the computer with the Microsoft Safety Scanner to make sure that the computer is virus-free.

    Microsoft safety scanner: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Warning of Security Scanner: there could be a loss of data while performing an analysis using the Microsoft safety scanner to eliminate viruses as appropriate.

I hope this helps. If you need further assistance on this particular issue or any other related issue Windows let us know and we will be happy to help you.
