  I get the message 'Error executing database query' whenever I click on the 'Préférences' button in the help air (if model Classic or cross-tab Malaccaaccordian). I can reject the message and the Preferences dialog box is displayed, but while the content tab seems to work the comments tab seems to be ignored.

  It works perfectly in CF 5.  However, when running in CF 8 I get the error message:

  (which refers to the cfquery above)

  "mydatabase" is the name of the database and LEN is a function.    It checks the length of systemcode to 2 or 4, if they are then check if the value of #CAT # is 1 and the 2 first characters from 01 to 05, then select the line.  I don't know what's wrong with CF5 but CF8?  It's driving me crazy.  Any help is appreciated.

  If you changed databases, which is the source of the problem, do not upgrade CF.  MySQL won't understand specific features of MS Access and vice versa. Don't expect applications written for type of databases operate automatically with another.  Although there are sql standards, each database is different. It is quite common for database providers have names completely different functions, the types of data and same syntax. You'll need for any check your database queries and convert all specific syntax of access, data types, etc. for the MySQL equivalents.

  I get an error for a simple display query. I use MS Access and CF8. The error is as follows:-

  Run the query with just the select and from clauses. Do not display the data, just look at the recordcount. I guess a word reserved with position problem.

  I found the solution!

  I was going through this blog: OIM 11 g: error after startup server IOM: retrieve the connection at the base

  In the last comment by Amit, he mentioned that the settings IOM - config.xml must be changed.

  So I discovered that IOM-config file. XML from my environment, under directDBConfigParams, url (jdbc thin driver) was wrong because of cloning.

  In addition, OIMFrontEndURL, RMI and SOAP URL were wrong.

  I corrected the and guess what... each utility works...

  However, you don't have to import/export the config of MDS file... you can change these details in the following MBEANs

  1 DirectDB

  2. the discovery

  3 SOAConfig

  I knew this jdbc driver was not, but did not know where to set it up.

  I have listed the error in my last comment, so that if anyone has this problem, the text of this presentation would help.

  I can't find anything on the net that helps me to solve this problem. I tried to use the Oracle JDBC driver as well, but got cryptic errors with that as well.

  I found the solution to my problem. I updated my drivers JDBC ( new drivers) and used the dedicated Oracle CF DSN and everything works fine.

• How to implement enter and execute the query in the ADF

  I'm new to ADF and I'm trying to create a simple data entry in ADF 11 g based on a database table. I'm looking to implement the equivalent of the request function enter and execute the query in Oracle Forms. I tried the default operations that are available with the data controls. But they don't seem to have this feature. Can someone help / tell me how this can be implemented.

  We use the Bi 7.9.6.1 Apps. Full load worked fine. But now, we are facing a problem with truncate a table "S_ETL_PARAM".
  I also restarted server and DAC Srever informatica. But still I get the same thing in the DAC journal, * "NOMALY INFO: Error executing: TRUNCATE TABLE: S_ETL_PARAM."
  * MESSAGE: com.siebel.etl.database.IllegalSQLQueryException: DBConnection_OLTP:SIEBTRUN ('siebel.) S_ETL_PARAM') *.

  There is no table name s_etl_param, it should be w_etl_param. Correct the name of the table and build your execution plan and launch the load.

• Error opening database with DevAlphaC

  I have a database that I use for logging. It is created in c + c++ / Qt and working properly.

  On the page of logs (in qml) I use a simple GroupDataModel with a data source to display the contents of the database.

  The Z10 and AlphaA/B, it works, but gives warning of debugging on a connection that is duplicated (I have ignore, that I was not able to solve the problem).

  On the DevAlphaC however the database cannot be opened QML, and the name of connection in the error message seems strange.

  As you can see, the path is used twice.

  To set the path, I use a property:

  have solved it by adding "file:///" the absolute path. works with the DevAlphaC and Z10, so I'll use it.

  I'm still new to VCB, so I don't know technically what I do. The vmdk files reside on an iSCSI Lun and I point the Server 2003 Windows VCB to the LUN using the MS iSCSI initiator and he see LUN. It see it as "Healthy (Unknown Partition)", but it see IT. My guess is that it should be able to see the files in the iSCSI LUN?

  Having a problem with a server ESX 3.5 and VC2.5. Two days ago it became (not answer) in VC and I could not reconnect. Using VI client I can connect directly to the host. I ping the ESX other EWX hosts and to the client with VC.

  I tried mgmt-vmware restart and restart av vpxa. A restart of the ESX host has not helped.

  I have her disconnect the ESX and when trying to connect, I get the Connection Wizard, but when you add the server name and root I get an error saying:

  General error: another error at line 7 number, not well-formed (invalid token) and cannot continue.

  I saw another discussion in the forum saying ban the CDP but that did not help.

  After removing the server ESX of VC, I'm trying to add hos, but run into the same error. I see no particular error in newspaper except errors in certificates, but I'm not sure that that's about it.
