Full load: Error executing: TRUNCATE TABLE: S_ETL_PARAM

Hi all

We use the Bi 7.9.6.1 Apps. Full load worked fine. But now, we are facing a problem with truncate a table "S_ETL_PARAM".
I also restarted server and DAC Srever informatica. But still I get the same thing in the DAC journal, * "NOMALY INFO: Error executing: TRUNCATE TABLE: S_ETL_PARAM."
* MESSAGE: com.siebel.etl.database.IllegalSQLQueryException: DBConnection_OLTP:SIEBTRUN ('siebel.) S_ETL_PARAM') *.
* Values :*
* Null map *.
* EXCEPTION CLASS: java.lang.Exception "*"

Any Suggestion...

Thanks in advance,
Deepak

Hi Deepak,

There is no table name s_etl_param, it should be w_etl_param. Correct the name of the table and build your execution plan and launch the load.

Thank you

    Yes, you need to get the password of Oracle by SR.

    Given that you do not use these tables, you can make it inactive task force TASK_GROUP_Extract_BOM. Of course respective tasks of SDE and SIL are also inactive.
    Once you with changes assemble the business sector and build of EP.

  • truncate table another user via trigger?

    Oracle 10.2.0.4

    A user USER1 should be able to truncate a table of another user, user 2.

    I will not give drop any table, there are a lot of patterns in this PB. It must be transparent, because it happens from an application, so I can't substitute a procedure:

    exec ('table_name') drop_user2_table;

    but USER1 executes: truncate table table_name;

    Is there an any place of relaxation for this command?.

    You thought you found the solution. If so, please indicate the post as answer and correct.

  • How can I force DAC to run always full load for one of the task that executes the stored procedure? And remaining tasks load incremental in the second and sub sequent executions.

    Hello

    How can I force DAC to run always full load for one of the task that executes the stored procedure? And remaining tasks load incremental in the second and sub sequent executions.

    Thank you

    Jay.

    Hi if your task is running an informatica mapping you can set your DAC task to run the full mapping for incremental and full loads, so tab task just point to the mapping.

    Hope that helps.

    DDL statements are to be executed using execute immediate PL/SQL code, for example

    ..
    ..
    EXECUTE IMMEDIATE 'TRUNCATE TABLE fred';
    ..
    ..

    Only SQL (DML statements) can be incorporated directly into the PL/SQL code.

  • Truncate table use in the procedure...

    Dear,

    I created the test table.

    Now, I have written a procedure like this.

    create or replace procedure trunc_test
    (ov_v_output OUT VARCHAR2) IS
    Start
    truncate table stable.
    end;

    I got error message like

    PLS-00103: encountered the symbol "TABLE" when the expected in the following way:

    := . ( @ % ;

    Someone help with this...

    Thank you and best regards,
    Raja.

    TRUNCATE is a DDL statement, so you cannot use it directly in PL/SQL. You must run dynimically using EXECUTE IMMEDIATE.

    So, your code should be

    create or replace procedure trunc_test (ov_v_output OUT VARCHAR2)
    is
    begin
     execute immediate 'truncate table testing';
     ov_v_output := 'Success';
    end;

  • TRUNCATE Table

    Hello

    We have about 100 GB size table. The time required to truncate this table is about 20 minutes. While someone executed by error command truncate and immediately killed the truncation operation session. But no data found in the table. It is bit confusing to me how the data is truncated so fast, because generally this requires about 20 minutes.

    What happens in the background, even if a table is truncated?

    Thank you for your valuable time.

    Kind regards
    Joy

    How lines are deleted?

    If you really, really want to know what's happening, then activate SQL_TRACE = TRUE before the next TRUNCATE.
    the trace file that contains all the details (ugly).

  • Create the procedure, truncate table

    When I run the following, I get the following error:
    PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "TABLE" when expecting one of the following:

       := . ( @ % ;
    on the 'truncate table BASE;' line in the following text:
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE TransferData IS

    BEGIN
        --clear current tables to allow for clean data
       truncate table BASELINE;
       truncate table TREATMENT;
       truncate table FOLLOWUP;
       truncate table WITHDRAW;
    END;
    Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you!

    TRUNCATE is not DML, DDL, but you will need the dynamic SQL statements here:

    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE TransferData IS
    BEGIN
        --clear current tables to allow for clean data
       execute immediate 'truncate table BASELINE';
       execute immediate 'truncate table TREATMENT';
       execute immediate 'truncate table FOLLOWUP';
       execute immediate 'truncate table WITHDRAW';
    END;

  • Full charge for a few tables

    Is it possible to load some tables if the situation requires it. He can do by allowing to truncate option full load for the particular Taskgroup DAC.

    Published by: user737238 on September 24, 2009 08:32

    Yes, there is the concept of micro ETL, see the DAC guide for more details

    Running ETL micro plans are ETL processes that you plan to very frequent
    intervals, such as every hour or half-hour averages. They are usually small areas or
    subsets of large areas. DAC titles dates update of tables in micro ETL
    separately from other execution plans and uses that these update dates contained the execution plans
    the capture of change process.
    After running a micro ETL execution plan, DAC fills date values updated in the
    Refresh the child tab Dates of execution Plans tab. If a domain is used in a regular
    execution plan (a plan of execution with the option to keep separate refresh Dates not)
    selected) as well as a micro ETL execution plan, DAC maintains updated dates for the
    tables in the plan of steady performance in the child tab of Dates to update physical data
    Sources tab (see Setup).
    In the case of a field used in a regular and ETL execution plan micro
    and micro ETL execution plan is suspended for a few days but the regular
    Plan of execution runs nightly, DAC detects automatically the last updated date of the
    common tables execution of these two plans and intelligently extracts as the most recent
    reviews of running ETL micro plan.

  • Reviews for .dll file loading error when starting the laptop

    After removing an infection from malware Thinkpoint of my laptop and reconstituted at almost normal speed, a notice of a .dll file loading error appears while booting.  What are the options to eliminate that?

    This isn't a lot of information to go, but it's because forums MS Answers does not prompt for information, when a new question is asked.

    Thank you MS Answers, allowing the resolution of simple problems as frustrating and a lot of time as possible.

    Read this and see if it looks like your question and if it is not, let us know exactly what you see and we will always fix it:

    Here are the detailed instructions that protect you and solve your problem in the 'right' way.

    If you do not have a good explanation for the name of the file in a Google search, the chances are good that your system is currently or has been infected by malware.

    A "Cannot find...". ', ' Failed to start..., "Could not load..." ». "Might not work... "" Cannot run ""error loading... ". "or"specific module could not be found"message at startup is usually related to the malware that has been configured to run at startup, but the referenced file has been removed after a malware scan, leaving behind him a startup item or the registry entry pointing to a file that does not exist.
    It might be a removal of malicious software or an application not installed.  The entry may have a curious looking name since it was probably generated at random when the malware was installed. If you search your system for the referenced file, you may not find.
    Windows attempts to load this file but cannot locate because the file has been deleted for most probably during an analysis of the malware. However, an orphaned associate of remainders of startup parameter or registry entry and tells Windows to load the file when you start or connection.
    So you should delete the referenced entry Windows stop trying to load or run the file. It may or may not be included in the registry, but you can find it.  Autoruns (see below) you get the elements no matter where it is.

    You must be sure to solve the problem and not just fix the symptom of the problem by simply relieving your message - system is not a fix (there is a difference).

    If you just locate and uncheck the item in msconfig, which disables the element but does not remove the reference to the element of false starting your computer.   The msconfig program is not a Startup Manager, that's a troubleshooting tool.  Disabling things in msconfig to put an end to the messages and think that your problem is solved is short-sighted and leave behind him a sloppy XP configuration.  Just disable the display of a start-up error message should not count as a 'solution' to the problem.
    If you are comfortable editing the registry, you can find and remove the reference directly from there or remove it using a popular third-party tool called Autoruns.  The problem can always be found in the registry well.
    Before making any changes to your registry by hand or with third-party tools, don't forget to first make a backup of the registry. There is no cancellation or exit without saving the option in regedit.
    Here is a link to a popular registry backup tool:
    You can also use the Autoruns to find the element of start remains little matter where he's hiding.  Autoruns does not install anything on your computer.  It will display all startup locations where the reference may be then you can turn it off or remove it completely.  Here is the download link for Autoruns:
    Run Autoruns.exe and wait that he at the end of the filling of the list of entries.
    When the Autoruns is finished scanning your system, it will say "Ready" in the lower left corner.  Autoruns can be a little intimidating to first if you have never seen it before because it displays a lot of information
    .  You are really interested only a few sections.
    The problem is usually to start the system or the user startup entries, then click the connection tab and see if the startup item is there.
    Scroll through the list and look for a boot entry associated files in the error message.
    If you can't find on the connection tab, look in any tab.
    You can also click file, search to search for logon, or any tab for all or part of the name of the element.
    Right-click on the offending entry and choose Remove.  If you are not sure what it is, you can simply disable, restart and if the problem is resolved and then remove the offending entry.  If you don't see it in Autoruns, you may edit the registry and remove the item from your startup folder it.  Autoruns shall display the same information however.
    Given that your system has or has had an infection, follow up with this:
    Perform scans for malware, and then fix any problems:
    Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:
    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/
    They can be uninstalled later if you wish.
    Restart your computer and solve the outstanding issues.

    You must EXPAND WINDOW and LOCK SUBSCRIBERS before consuming the CDC data:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E14571_01/integrate.1111/e12643/data_capture.htm#ODIDG283

    Subsequently, you unlock Subscriber and purge the log.

    Kumar

    When you do not provide a starting position for the first field in table2, it starts with the following after a last referenced in table1 field, then it starts with vendor_site_code, instead of $vendor_name.  So what you need to do instead, is specify position (1) to the first field in table2 and use the fields to fill.  In addition, he dislikes when 1 = 1, and he didn't need anyway.  See the example including the corrected below control file.

    Scott@orcl12c > test.dat TYPE of HOST

    Source_system_code, Record_type, Source_System_Vendor_number, $vendor_name, Vendor_site_code, Address_line1, Address_line2, Address_line3

    Victor, New, Ven001, Vinay, Vin001, abc, def, xyz

    Scott@orcl12c > test.ctl TYPE of HOST

    OPTIONS (errors = 0, skip = 1)

    load data

    replace

    in the table1 table:

    fields ended by ',' optionally surrounded "" "

    (

    Char Source_system_code (1) POSITION "ltrim (rtrim (:Source_system_code)),"

    Record_type tank "ltrim (rtrim (:Record_type)),"

    Source_System_Vendor_number tank "ltrim (rtrim (:Source_System_Vendor_number)),"

    $vendor_name tank "ltrim (rtrim (:Vendor_name)).

  • The truncated table rows

    Hi team,

    One of my colleague ran a batch which will truncate a table and insert the final table by extracting data from different tables in backup taking the old table.

    But today before 10 minutes he missed to keep the export backup of this table and ran the batch. All the old data of the truncated table and now we need these data.

    Flashback is DISABLED in our case and Undo retention is dry 7200 and since it is a DDL so it will change the definition of the table.

    Is it possible to get the data that truncated.

    Daily HT full backup will run and we are in the process of restoring the backup but the db size is 4 TB and it will take time and then let's apply archive logs, before that got truncated.

    Until can we try something else?

    Hemant seems good to me.

    Please check the Version of Oracle where you are restoring the database and the Oracle version of the primary database that saves youi have taken.

    I'm 100% sure that there could be the difference in the release.

    We faced this problem 2 times and every time the issue is different binary or different architecture was the problem.
