  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the use of ridicule of absolute positioning is the problem, not the Spry Menu.

  If you change the z-index in apDiv14 as later, it should help the menu to be at the top

• Menu Spry, horizontal submenu, must fall down in front of flash player in Internet Explorer

  I am building a Web site that contains a horizontal menu spry with submenus on some of the tabs. On one page of the Web site, there is a flash drive in the upper part and for some reason any IE puts the drop-down list behind the flash player. I guess I need to change the CSS files for Spry menu, but I don't know where to start? How can I tell IE to display all of the Spry elements on top?  Any ideas? Just a side note... all other browsers display the menu correctly.

  I use Dreamweaver CS4 on Mac.

• Problem of formatting in the content with the horizontal menu widget area

  I use a regular horizontal menu widget with several different taps within an empty page.  I lived as if the content field under the first tap, for example, is 300 pixels long, all other fields of content under other taps will inherit the same height.  Because I have different amounts of text in various taps, I need to be able to REDUCE the height of the text field. But it won't let me.

  Please select size spacing: uniform point in the menu dropdown.

  

  It does not resize the tabs separately, but it might serve your purpose (spacing problems).

• menu Spry displays behind the video content

  Hi guys, I built a horizontal menu spry just above a section that contains a video as the first element. The menu is just above this area, and when I test on Firefox and Safari, the menu goes behind the video. IE 7 works correctly display the menu of the video object. I've seen other posts with problems in front where IE does not display the menu on the rest of the content. Any suggestions with the video problem?

  That's ok. And by the way, there is no index-z involved in this. It's that
  Flash is constantly redrawn on the page, so the content assets.

• Dropdowns Menu Spry flicker/Disappeing with IE7

  I worked to find a solution to this problem for weeks and have search many forums on how to not fix or none this result. Of course, FireFox works fine, but IE7 has a flickering problem / endangered on the Spry drop and it seems to happen only when it is contained directly below. This leads me to believe that it is a matter of z-index CSS that IE7 does not agree with. I use Spry pre-release 1.6 and my temporary Internet files from IE 7 automatically checks for newer versions. When the cursor is in the meantime drop IE menu items seems to want to active the "hideDelay" action comes from the SpryMenuBar.js file. If you select the first item in the menu drop-down menu to wait one second and then select the next item below and wait again, you can slow down also move downward without the drop endangered. However, this will not do for navigation and quickly irritate users.

  Found the answer on another forum. It seems IE must have all instances of 'li' and 'a' tags defined with display: block in CSS. Now everything works fine.

  Is it possible to 'connect' bars of horizontal and vertical menus between them?

  I'll try to give an example...

  Now, when you click on one of the links, say "Sub 2.2", I would like to have the sidebar show this:

  Now, the easy way to do this is to create a separate page with a menu accordion separated in the sidebar for each of the 'Elements '. But this means that when I change something (add a submenu, change its name, change a link, etc.), I needed to change the pages separate as well.

  Is there a not too complicated way of linking them together? So that the point 2 in the sidebar is not just a Word only a menu and the menu at the bottom. not separated, but refer to the horizontal menu located in the header? In other words, I would like to create a single list with 'Everything', 'Subs' and 'Sub subs"that I can see and use them in places and formats spry.

  Short answer, no way to do this with Spry menus.  Spry is also dead.  Adobe abandons this concept in 2012 and removed Spry in DW CC because he lost it utility and is not mobile friendly.

  You might want to consider a different approach to navigation as a jQuery Mega Menu.

  I examined the response to a similar post and reviewed the settings as shown in the picture. My problem is that I want this a menu item to display pages vertically and not fall down and display on the right. I tried all means to set the preferences on the menu I can think and she won't do not impact on the menu as a whole. This includes unchecking the checkbox that allows individual changes.   I am trying to create a horizontal menu with a submenu horizontally directly underneath.  Thus, when you hover over the items in the top menu, the list of subitems appears as a horizontal menu directly below the top menu.  I was able to change the widget spry Panel tabs to do for the most part, but there must be a better way. It seems that the widget menu spry for the horizontal menu has just a drop of water to the bottom of the sub-elements in a vertical list below the top menu item.   I searched but not found the answer.  Could someone please help me with suggestions?  Thank you.

• Perhaps another problem with Css

  I think this is another problem with my CSS is applied because of a problem but I have really no idea.

  The site is Alliance of injuries. The problem is with the images in the middle of the page. They are supposed to be in three rows of 3-3-2, but for some reason some they just below the other. When I click on Home.css in the "View Source", it is titled 'Page not found' don't know why.

  Anyone who has any ideas I would appreciate it.

  First thing - you must stop using filenames with spaces in them.  That can get you into trouble.  Use only letters, numbers, dash or underscore - nothing else.

  Next thing, the image and CSS links in this page (located at the root of the site) are all (except two) wrong links related document, for example,.

  If the page is already at the root of the site, there is no ".." as possible.  It is sure to cause you problems.  All these links need to be just like this one (which is correct)-
  (although the Home.CSS file does not appear on the server!)
  The reason why your images are displayed in a vertical table is that each of them is contained in a

  container with no specified width (was this width specified in the Home.css file does not exist?).  So that they appear along a horizontal line, you need to specify the width of the div and float tag he left.

  Looks like a problem with chrome. He is not able to manage the z-index property (although set) in this case. Due to which the user is not able to click on the button that is hidden by another element.

  There is a workaround solution you can do on board animate:

  You simply select the item named "s_cpl_fa_nav_x2" in the Panel edge ' Elements' animate and drag just below the element named "s_cpl_fa_0_guide_page1" and delete the selected item. This will place the first below the latter, with regard to the stacking order of the UI, and so the click event will work.

  I hope this works.

  In addition, you can use this menu widget, try turning the widget which will give you the options of the menu upwards.
