Menu Spry, horizontal submenu, must fall down in front of flash player in Internet Explorer

I am building a Web site that contains a horizontal menu spry with submenus on some of the tabs. On one page of the Web site, there is a flash drive in the upper part and for some reason any IE puts the drop-down list behind the flash player. I guess I need to change the CSS files for Spry menu, but I don't know where to start? How can I tell IE to display all of the Spry elements on top?  Any ideas? Just a side note... all other browsers display the menu correctly.

I use Dreamweaver CS4 on Mac.

Thank you

I'm curious! Please take a look here http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14201.html

  • horizontal menu with horizontal submenu

I am trying to create a horizontal menu with a submenu horizontally directly underneath.  Thus, when you hover over the items in the top menu, the list of subitems appears as a horizontal menu directly below the top menu.  I was able to change the widget spry Panel tabs to do for the most part, but there must be a better way. It seems that the widget menu spry for the horizontal menu has just a drop of water to the bottom of the sub-elements in a vertical list below the top menu item.   I searched but not found the answer.  Could someone please help me with suggestions?  Thank you.

  • Malware slows down my computer in Flash Player

So my Macbook was slow when running Safari, and I discovered that Adobe Flash player allowed to run malicious programs. I was searching for all the Flash cookies which was stored on Flash and found that some were harmless such as Youtube (s.ytimg.com) and other areas but I had also looked at other areas and I found secure.insightexpressai.com who are suspected of malware and I can feel my computer going more slowly when it appears. I tried to block access to these suspicious areas but after a few days or more, the block has disappeared and that it allows the malware to run again. I went to the Apple store and they told me to use ClickToFlash. I don't want to install this software because I like Safari that way. I also asked permanently remove areas of the terminal, they said I could use Nano. I am running the latest version of Flash player and I do not have my Safari to the latest version. What is your recommendation to keep my MacBook malware free? I would like to consider using Terminal Server, but I have to make sure that nothing will not (maybe useful links to familiarize themselves with the Nano if it is recommended). Insightexpressai.com is also in my cookies from Safari and it reappears after removal, which could be a reason why it runs in Flash shortly after. I went on the Adobe Web site and they offer nothing in terms of aid and it's been weeks and I have no response from message boards. What do you think I should do?

  • Capacity lost to display the items falling down

In google (or any search engine), I type the word/phrase I'm looking for. As I type I have started a list of results. As I move my mouse out of the search box to select the point I want to see the list disappears completely leaving only what I had typed at this point in the search box.  I did not always have this problem so I know it's a problem. Any ideas?  Thank you.

    Hello J,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    1. Do you get this problem on Internet Explorer or any internet browser third party?
    2. You did it of any significant changes to the computer before this problem?

If the problem occurs when you use Internet Explorer, the question may arise due to some third-party modules installed for the browser that changed the parameters of search listings. If you use a Web browser to third, the I suggest you to check the problem in Internet Explorer.

In addition, I would suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

I suggest you run IE without Add on and check if the problem persists.

    1. Press the Windows logo key + R.
    2. Type iexplore - extoff in the immediate window and press ENTER.
    3. Check to see if you still get the question to fashion without modules.

If you don't get the problem modules mode, I suggest you enable each module one by one and check what the module are the origin of the problem. To enable or disable add-ons, I suggest you to consult the following link for the walkthrough.

    Manage Add-ons in Internet Explorer

If the problem persists, try the following method.

    Method 2:

In order to exclude the possibility of a conflict of third party software, I suggest to operate the system in a selective startup with minimal services enabled and check if the problem persists. This process is known as a clean boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

Note: See "how to reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting" to prepare the computer to start as usual after a repair.

If the problem persists, try the following method.

    Method 3:

If the problem exists in Internet Explorer, I suggest to reset Internet Explorer default settings and check if you have new drop-down list.

Change or reset Internet Explorer settings

Warning: Reset the Internet Explorer settings can reset security settings or privacy settings that you have added to the list of Trusted Sites. Reset the Internet Explorer settings can also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the reset Internet Explorer settings. Reset Internet Explorer is not reversible, and all the previous settings are lost after reset.

I created a horizontal menu with a submenu it grows downwards, it is possible to extend to a maximum?

My menu is at the bottom of the page and there is no space to lay down.

    Hello

As it has already been mentioned that you can achieve this by using a tab panel widget or composition.

In addition, you can use this menu widget, try turning the widget which will give you the options of the menu upwards.

The reason is simple.  Your #nav div has z-index 3. Your div #image Wolf also has z-index 3.  Because the #nav div is taken before the div of Wolf, it's on the page under the div of Wolf, and is where the submenus are too.  But wait, you say?  The submenus have a z-index of 1020, you say?  Ahh - but it's part of a z-index of parent of 3.  The z-index of 1020 is only in the context of this relative z-index 3, not the entire page.

To resolve this problem, give the #nav div a z-index of 4.  You will now see...

See what has been changed, it's hard to say. A suggestion I can do without seeing the code must make sure that your Spry is up to date. To find your current version of Spry, review the sections file in the SpryAssets folder. At the top it will say "sections - version 0. # - Spry pre-release 1. #. # »

If you are running version 0.6; Pre-release 1.6.1 so that you do not use the latest version. If this is the case manager on the site below which is the official website of Spry. You will find a link to the official forums of Spry and Spry update package. Inside this package is a bunch of samples, demos and an Extension. Install the extension, and then restart DW. Once restarted, under the Sites menu, you will see a new option to update Spry. Click on this and your Spry will be updated to the latest version.

If you're still having problems after doing this, you'll need to be a link to your page or the code of your page so that we can see what you have changed the Spry script.

    Hello

I will try to resume that you issue.
The HARD disk has several partitions (I guess 2 partitions)
The backup procedure works fine if you safe data only from single partition, but it crashes if you try to create a backup of all partitions of set. Am I wrong?

My first question; What backup utility do you use?
Are you sure that this backup tool supports the backup of the two partitions at the same time?

I put t know if it will help but a similar problem happened to me.
I've used Norton ghost and I wasn't able to create a backup of a partition.

The procedure began, but after several minutes, the screen goes white and the notebook frisottés.
I ran the scandisk, chkdsk and I defragment the whole HARD drive.

    This helped!
