Another video card can be installed on a model P2 1120 PC? Also, how many open bays are there?

I have HP Pavillion Model P2 1120 PC running on Windows 7 Home Premium and I would like to install a video card as quickly. This model will support this? Also, are there front open berries on this model?

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion p2-1120. As you can see on the photo of the motherboard down and NO expansion slot;

In addition, there is only a Bay 5.25 inch ODD (CD/DVD/Bluray) and a 3.5 inch HDD (hard drive) Bay in this system. This means that there NO bays open... internal, external or otherwise.

    Hi fabriciofla,

My apologies for the information I have given in the previous post. Dell Inspiron One 2320 a NVIDIA Optimus technology then you will not be able to update the drivers on the manufacturer's Web site. Ask you to wait that we test pilots and launch it on the Dell support site (time is not fixed).

  • I have a hp pavilion slimline s5220y, can I add another video card to run an additional monitor?

    HP Pavilion Slimline, s5220y

    Windows 7 Home Premium

No changes have been made to PC

I need to add a video card to run an additional monitor, I would like to know if anyone has managed to do this, and if so, could they maybe give me the information I need to order a correct map. I was recommended to use

Article # G4588410 of Tiger Direct. I read where I remove the modem in order to accomolish?

The EVGA UV19 seems to be a viable solution if the current integrated graphics adapter is suitable for your use.

  • What video card can be added to the s330f to support two monitors?

I want to add a second monitor to my HP Pavilion s330f.  I think I'll have to add a video card that supports two monitors.  Since this is a slimline box, size is a matter in addition to compatibility.  What cards can be used?

I was unable to locate a "s330f" on HP support site. Please provide the number of name and/or product of full model specific aid. Assuming you have a HP Pavilion Slimline s3300f desktop PC, the power plant is only rated at 160 watts and there is no PCIe cards x 16 graphics in your computer's power market will be based.

Depending on what you plan on using two monitors, because there may be an alternative to a new power supply and graphics card.

    (1) Day trading, word documents, spreadsheets and other... buy an adapter USB-to-video as the EVGA UV plus + UV19 or UV39.

    (2) game... not recommended

    (3) source a bigger power supply and the new graphics card for HP

    (4) source of a greater power of athenapower.com and a graphics card 'low - profile' from another source.

  • trying to emulate another video card in my virtual machine

    Hi all

I was wondering if anyone out there has a substitution method of the video card on the virtual machine - vmware svga2 currently it emulates.  I would like to install a software that is not compatible with the vmware curret svga2.  any thoughts?

    Thank you

    Forget it
your options are VMware SVGA2 without the 3d support and VMware SVGA2 with 3d support - that's all

If your software does not you can try only other machines virtual software such as VirtualBox or Parallels

Parallels has a version that can use a videocard uptodate more on some machines, but all in all machines virtual video is old stuff compared to any recent real hardware

  • HP Pavilion Notebook - 17-f208: dedicated video card can not seen in BIOS

Good day Sir/Mam...i recently bought a HP Pavilion Notebook - 17-f208nx and I wonder if the dedicated video card is can be seen in the BIOS?... cause when I go into the BIOS I don't see the card... thanks video dedicated to help.

    Hi @nextor ,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. It's a great site for information and questions. I looked at your question about your Notebook of 17-f208nx HP Pavilion Notebook and concerns regarding the graphics not to be seen in the BIOS. That it is up to your motherboard, it is usually on the Advanced tab. If it is not listed in the BIOS means that you will not be able to change the options.

    Thank you.

  • The computer video card can't read the themes

My computer has a bad sector and Vista had to be put back. I used to have my picture as my screensaver and your display fadin in and out, pan and zoom, style, album etc. Now, they just flip with no transition. I get a meaasge reading:"this video card in the computer can not play themes." Why what happened? Any thoughts as to get things back to normal? The place I got it don't know why it happened.

    Hi Lucy2099,

This happens usually when your Windows experience index is set to 3 or below. Go to control panel, click on the system icon and check what Windows experience Index side. If it says 3 or below clcik update Windows Experience Index link. "Usually", this solves the problem.

You can also check that you have the latest drivers for your graphics card.

  • Can not get the "modern" games to start on old PC because of the video (by the game company) card - can I install a "most recent" video card to solve the problem?

I have an old Dell Dimension 2100 with Windows XP and Intel 82810 Graphics card.  Can I just update to a new graphics card or the speed or the RAM of the old machine will prevent play?  Speed: 1.1 GHz RAM: 284 MB

    Hi Baffledtempe,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

Just update the graphics card will not let you accomplish what you're trying. You will need to update the RAM as well. Games that exist on the market these days use less than 1 GB of RAM. If you spend just the graphics card, the game performance will not be good, it will be very slow and the resolution must be very low to make it compatible.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Video card problems after installing Windows 7 (p6130nl - 64 bit - NVIDIA GeForce GT 220)

I managed to solve it after a night of messing around; installing new drivers did not work whether, since the problem is that it does not load the driver until the video Bios has been updated. And install other windows operating system did not help either, or formatting the drive etc etc etc.

However, ultimately I just value all non-active disk partitions, rebooted the PC and went up in some menus weird (never seen that one before) which forced the office back to factory default (including the "thank you and welcome to your office purched brand-new", lol) and after that everything was done the graphics card acknowledged again and errors stopped. Being curious, I installed Windows 7 once again, and all the problems started once more. After a reset, I installed Windows 7 for the third time, but this time by using "update" rather than clean-install and that seems to work great so far.

So: to assign all non-active partitions, and restart the PC. What he has done for me in the end.
