• HP Touchpad browser works only with the Cisco Valet Plus router

  I bought a 16 GB HP Touchpad several months ago and had been enjoying his excellent WiFi feature with my old G from Linksys WRT54GS wireless router until I replaced it with a new Cisco Valet Plus (model M20) wireless-N Router a couple of days.

  Although I could easily and successfully, join the Touchpad to the Cisco Valet network, browser fails most of the time to load web pages.   For example, if I go to www.yahoo.com, the browser is going to slowly load the web page, or it will expire with a pop-up message error "Impossible to load the Page.   If I try to select a link from the homepage of Yahoo, it expires with the same message.  And this happens for all web pages.  If the initial page happens at all, I can then from this page a link to any other.

  I know that the issue is not with the router because I have several other devices connected to it and they are all working well, including a laptop HP ProBook, an iPad and a Wii Console, I use to watch Netflix movies on.  None of them has a problem - only the Touchpad.

  If I go into settings-> Wi - Fi, it shows that the Touchpad is connected to Cisco network.  And when I run the diagnostic system, it shows that the Wi - Fi works correctly.

  Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

  I have found a workaround that did the trick.  I had to change the channel setting auto on a coded hard 1 channel wireless.

  Now, the Touchpad works very well, as well as all other devices that have worked.

  Data are inserted and displayed correctly by the application (Oracle Forms 6 - Yes, I know it is old and not supported more :-)))

  The only problem is that I can't view "tilde one" or "o tilde" correctly when you use SQL * Plus window BACK directly connected to the database. Other accented characters appear very well (acute accents a, for example).

  If I use the SQL Windows * more available in point 10.2 so all the characters appear correctly.

  The data is stored correctly, as shown in the PICTURE, even if you really do not have the data expected if I'm only guessing.

  The problem is most likely with the police. Your command prompt is implemented with code 850 (WE8PC850), but the police page seems to be in the code page 437 (US8PC437). You should change the font to a non-raster font or change page codes and NLS_LANG to the code page 437.

  Note, do not define NLS_LANG in system properties, because it affects so Oracle Forms. Set only in the command prompt given.

• Digital camera is not pop up the autoplay box plus-Windows XP

  When I plugged my USB cable from my digital camera in the port of an AutoPlay box would pop up and ask me what I wanted to do with the photos. I accidentally clicked the box "Don't show me this agan" and now when I plug my camera into the port, the box won't pop up and I can not access my digital camera. Is there a way to make the box pop up again?  How can I change the AutoPlay settings in Windows XP?

  The camera is not recognized as a drive in my computer.  It should be under devices with removable storage, but it does not appear.  Is there a way to make it appear?

  The M20 Valet isn't a function of wireless bridge. You try to extend the connection of the main router wireless? I suggest that you optimize the router's wireless settings. Or add a network Extender.

• Camera Foscam wireless to the Valet M20 router connection.

  Try to install two cameras Foscam on my PC (windows 7). The "OUTSIDE" camera is model F19805W and 'The INSIDE' a F19831P model. The works of a single 'INSIDE' ok as a device connected wireless; However, cannot get 'OUTSIDE' unit to connect the Cisco Valet Plus M20 router wireless. 'OUTSIDE' it connects ok directly connected to the router. Have had two phone conversations with Foscam support and they never stop checking out me with the help of Cisco. This is editing information for both cameras.

   

  Device status:

                 Status = success for both cameras NTP

  DDNS = disabled for both cameras status

  UPnPStatus - disabled for both cameras

  WiFi status = connected to WhiteBear (INSIDE) (OUTSIDE) not connected

  The session state:

  Username / IP = joec01 for both cameras / 192.168.1.149, 192.168.1.149 and 192.168.1.101 for both cameras

  address joec01 IP/username extra / 192.168.1.101 for (OUTDOOR)

  IP configuration:

  Get the IP of the server DHCP = check for both cameras

  Wireless settings:

  List of networks: SSID = WhiteBear of both cameras

  PPPoE use PPPoE = disabled for both cameras

  DDNS = enable DDNS disabled for both cameras

  Foscam support tells me that the router does not accept the WhiteBear password for the OUTSIDE camera (it is the same as that used for INSIDE camera and smart phones).

• Laptop HP Pavilion ab289sa: BT Netprotect Plus does not open

  I downloaded BT Netprotect more.  I can't open the program of the M icon or program files.  If you right-click on the icon M options come but will not open when you click on it.   Have you tried BT help suggesting that the uninstaller and reinstalling, have now done that several times.  A man of BT has suggested it might be a compatibility problem.  Run Microsoft Virtual Technician happens with updates not up to date.  Any help appreciated

  I have the router Actiontec of FIOS REV D. and I just bought a Valet Plus with the hope of using it for my wireless, but stay on the same network.

  (1) how to configure the Valet and Actiontec to communicate with each other

  You can't connect two routers using the Wi - Fi connection. So there should be a cable between Actiontech router and with valet services more.

  Connection type 1:

  In this case, you will not be able to Jack by using the installation CD. You must manually change the settings and you will not be able to use the Valet guest network feature.

  But the computer connected to the Actiontech router will be able to communicate with computers connected to the Valet Plus.

  I recently installed a new Valet Plus and noticed much more slow navigation and then from my old D - Link DIR-655 router.  I ran speedtest.net and noted my speed died in 15 Mbit/s of my usual 30 Mbit/s.  After many trials, I discovered that the router option "" safe surfing"was the culprit.  I did a 'chat' with a CISCO technology session and ran a lot more tests.  There is no other explanation, then the safe surfing must do some filtering it slows down.  If anyone else has noticed this?  This seems to be a significant problem for CISCO.

• Help fix the husband XP2 system (we have home network, mine is Vista, its XP)

  My husband's computer was working fine until its automatic update installed Windows XP3 several weeks ago. It is literally cascaded by being not able to repair. I wiped his drive completely cleaned, reistalled XP1 (this is the version of the software that we have on the disc). Download Mcafee total protection and then slowly starts the upgrade and install Basic programs in the next few days.  The new facility has failed from the beginning after installing XP2. Blue screens, other software does not properly, not computer shuts itself off more frequently... and now, not even system restore will work. Uninstall XP2 and restart?  It is not due to a virus, spyware, malware etc. I have McAfee and Advanced SystemCare, plus Windows Defender.  What should I do to fix this mess?

  I was running hard drive and memory tests, using the tools of diagnosis of the Ultimate Boot CD or the manufacturer of the computer.

  I'd also install service packs before you install an antivirus program.

  If you had to install before your previous off then router software it is best to uninstall it and start with the Valet. The Valet more supplied with installation software, also, that you can run to configure. So, I suggest that you connect your computer directly to the modem first to establish the connection there even though that your old router still works fine when connected to the installation. With this, you can start a new configuration with your Valet Plus. • BEFSR41 10Mbits/s 10/100 or anything simply?

  I have a BEFSR41 that has been flawless so far, but it's version 1 (I think).  I have on all PCs gigabit network cards, but I wonder if the old version 1 is only capable of 10 Mbps throughput.  If this is the case, then it may explain why I can get up to 20mbps download speeds off the modem and 10 Mbps on the router.  The router has the latest firmware and no other problems.

  I am now looking to replace it with a new router.  I really need something that connects to my AppleTV as the old Linky as well.  I tried a D - link DIR-655 and can not get the AppleTV to appear in devices no matter what I do.

  So now I'm looking for the E2000 or Valet Plus.  I'm looking for something that plays well with the AppleTV without going through all the hassle of the automatic and such reference port.
