Any CC 2014. MTS files?

Premiere Pro 2014 CC does not matter. MTS files? Says unrecognized format.

Hi Michael,

Most of these problems is due to users not to import images correctly.

  • Copy the entire map and its structure of file on your Media Player.
  • Ingest files via the media browser NOT via file > import or dragging the files in the project Panel.

NOT the following if you have AVCHD video clips:

  • Update the project halfway through your project file.
  • The OS was updated to halfway to the project.

If the AVCHD files get Red pictures or go offline, follow these steps:

  • Change the name of the media folder
  • Remove the media Cache
  • Reissue the clips in any existing sequence.

Thank you

Kevin

  • CC 2014 no longer recognizes. MTS files

Just updated to PP CC 2014 and re-open a project.

Many files have been identified as missing or corrupt - had to re - load from the archive.

    l

Worse though - two clips used are. MTS files - which are copied from. Archives of the MTS files- and PP means that they are an "unsupported compression type" - funny - they worked in PP CC 2013... !

-How do I get 2014 CC PP to see and recognize these files AGAIN - I don't have to re - encode files to something else because Adobe broke PP.

    Thank you

Oddly enough - I solved this by making a copy of the files "unsupported", re-Binder in the sandbox to these copies. Now he's happy with them. Strange, because they are mere copies of files not supported... ?

  • MTS files import does not in first CC 2014

I just installed new updates and tried to start a new project in first CC 2014 and import MTS files. I get an error message saying "the file has a compression type not supported."

I have worked with MTS files in first for awhile now, but I'm stuck which dates back to the old CC Premiere because it's the only way I can import these files. I found one of the great new things in 2014 CC BEST support for MTS and other formats.

Help, please! I'm really excited about all the new features in this update and want to be able to use them for work, but right now I'm super disappointed.

    Thank you

    Jase

I've seen a lot of reports like this, then something goes well.

Try to rename or move the folder with the media.  Then , open the project in 2014 CC.  It will ask you where is the press, that it points to the file renamed or moved.

  • Problem adding MTS files in sequence in first 2015 (video)

Hello. All of a sudden (I think after update to the 2015 version) I can't import mts files I can announce a new or existing sequence.

Once import the clip in the tray, it has ONLY the sound icon.

    1. the clip will be visually rub in the tray.

    2. the clip will play well in the window source (audio and video)

    3. I CAN'T HANG OUT IN ANY EXISTING SEQUENCE VIDEO TRACK

    a. that the AUDIO will be can be placed in an audio track

    b. video does not load in any video track

    c. I can "create a sequence of the clip", but even after you did; I'm still not able to place this item in an existing sequence.

These are the same clips that I used throughout. Same source, the same format. (and the same file)

I tried to reinstall the 2014 version, which gave the same result. together with a newly created file (with the newly installed 2014) and the oldest existing files

I tried the same test of importation on my laptop (which is also updated to 2015) and it is very good!

1 (though once a clip imported; it has only the audio icon until I have add to a sequence.) ( Then he adds the video icon to the element in the tray)

    FRUSTRATING!

    I'm MAC OS 10.10.5.

    Hello

Make sure you have enabled video track. Click to make blue, this is probably the issue. I have scratched my head on that after installing a new version too.

  • Re: Editing on Satellite P500-12F .mts files

Hi, I have a question about the change. MTS files:

    My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite P500-12F / Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHz / RAM: 4 GB HD: 500 GB / BD - RE DL / 18.4 "/ Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit /"

And I use Corel video studio pro X 3 to edit my SD videos and I was very happy with it until I tried to use the software to edit HD videos very short 2-4 minutes long that I got from a friend to test it before buying my HD camcorder.

These videos are played on the laptop without problem using WMP or video studio pro x 3 in the preview window, the problem starts when I add another track of overlay to make modifications or any title or effects on the overlay track as I used to do with SD videos.

If I do any sort of editing and try to see the changes in the preview window, the image moves very slowly, vibrates and the sound is broken, it seems that I'm editing a 24 hours of work not 2-4 minutes. clips.

So I do not understand where is the lie of the problem, what is the spec of the laptop? What codecs do I need to install? Or the settings that I need to do?

bye the way, if I decide to save the changes I made for the video it is so annoying to check during the preview/editing process, the final file plays great without problems and in HD quality.

I wonder if someone can help me.

    Thank you

    Aiman

    Hello, Armelle

Please don't get me wrong, but I do not understand the relationship between issue described and Toshiba laptop.
Don't you think that it is the related issue of Toshiba or you should speak with the support of software manufacturer?

This application can be installed on your laptop as part of the recovery image, but I don't think that Toshiba is responsible if you have a problem with a software feature.

  • The MTS files & Windows DVD creation (Windows 7 x 64)

Question: Windows DVD Maker does not recognize the MTS format.
    Camera: Panasonic DMC - TZ7
File format: MTS (AVCHD Lite HD)
    OS: Windows 7 x 64

There are a few comments on the similar topic. I would like to know if there is some way I can get the creation of DVD to read MTS files without converting it to other formats.

If I convert it, is it a tool of MS that I can use without buying a third-party tool 3. MTS format has been around for a while and I'm surprised that the creation of DVD in Windows 7 does not support.
    Vimal.

    Hello

You must first convert AVCHD (.mts) .avi files or any other file format and then burn using Windows DVD creation. Create DVD does not recognize the format .mts and
There are no Microsoft tool to convert the file formats.

I suggest you to search using your favorite search engine. You will find many free online conversion tools.

  • Windows Media Player will not play error of MTS files that your computer works at low memory. Quit other programs, and then try again

I am running Windows 7, 64 bit, home premium on a Dell Studio 1558 with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4500-5100 graphics card and an Intel Core i3. It has 4 GB of RAM.

When I try to read files MTS using Windows Media Player I get the error message "your computer is low on memory. Quit other programs, and then try again,"even with no other programs running. Windows Media Player will play other types of video files without difficulty.

Any suggestions as to what can be the cause of the problem and how to fix?

    TBH I'm not sure.

All I can say is on my desk, I have not loaded a pack of codecs only support of any kind and WMP12 plays my MTS files very well. Supported by this statement in Windows Media Player 12 is also capable of playing AVCHD formats (. ) M2ts et . MTS ). [13]" from - http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Media_Player and the fact that in WMP12 - "Media files (all types)" MTS has listed as an acceptable format.

My office has an AMD/ATI HD5670, and like I said seems to play.

    1. Have you tried to run a full anti-recent virus scan? If this isn't the case, update your antivirus program and run a scan full to see if it finds problems.
    2. Then try a sfc/scannow scan to see if it detects and fixes something.
    3. Just checked, you have installed WMP12? (it should be, but just a double check).

This type of problem (or similar) has developed before items such as http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-pictures/Windows-Media-Player-and-low-memory-issues/bb4bf226-8bd0-41A5-9eed-9be08e6d3bdb and  http://www.TomsHardware.co.UK/answers/ID-1699934/computer-running-low-memory-Windows-Media-Player.html and some people said re-register the DLL of WMP files helped. Personally, I've never needed to test or try this kind cannot confirm.

  • .mts file appear too large in my view window, that I need to convert this file and what?

Hi all, it's been a while since I used Prem and have a little video project on, my camera in .mts and I fight for this import in the first... I need to convert this file and what? MTS file appears too large in my view window, I need to convert this file and what I really don't want to lose any quality of the video, I'm not interested in sound.

Or can I adjust the aspect ratio first to account for this? It would be better?

    Thanks in advance

  • How can I transcode MTS file to H.265 prelude

Hi, I have a few sequences Camcoder MTS I want to transcode to HEVC (H.265) as a prelude before I change it first. but the format is not available. I have the format in other applications such as creation and Media Encoder, but not in the prelude. I need to import anything or just not available in s iti prelude?

    Thank you

    Carlos

    Hi Carlos,

Adding to the suggestions of R.Neil Haugen...

SOUL is actually the main transcoding engine. There are many many formats available in SOUL that you won't find in prelude.

But after comments from customers, we would certainly include any format in the prelude as well.

Please file a feature request on the link Neil shared above.

Alternatively, you can also export files you want to transcode to any prelude (--> export--> Media file) format.

Once SOUL is started, stop the current transcoding, select all the files and reset the format of transcoding to one you want to transcode to.

Yes... This is exactly what you need. But to preserve the continuity of the prelude-SOUL that is saving files in prelude, creating scripted and transcoding in the format desired.

    It will be useful.

    Thank you

Premiere Elements on which OS? Have you updated 13 to 13.1 still using Help Menu/updates to date of an open project? If this isn't the case, please do.

What is the brand/model/settings for the camera that records video? AVCHD, 2 channel or 5.1 channel Dolby Digital, cadence (interlaced or progressive)?

What is the predefined project and does correspond to the properties of the media source?

    You read the rendered timeline?

You have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer plus Premiere Elements? You run programs as an administrator? What is your card card video/graphic updated according to the web site of the manufacturer of the guard or the computer manufacturer?

Please check and review and then we can decide what then. For any question or need more information, feel free to ask. We will clarify at any time.
