  I have a brand new Macbook pro and I bought the OEM System Builder of 64-bit Windows 8 driver in a store. My problem is that I have not only not able to install it using Boot Camp.   I'm not really a tech guy but I also tried to download virtual box and the same error comes back.

  Last week, I got a blue screen while making a rescue disk (I know, it's ironic), computer was slow, so I tried to do the system restore. System Restore does not work (I installed SP2 in fact at the moment, no problem). Looked for the solution, only thing I could find was to re - install OS repair mode (upgrade).

  Found some info on VLite (knew, it has not been accepted by MS). Did the repair installation with VLite, added updates and drivers, took only some of the great language files. Load and run fine, ran all updates to windows. When I tried to install SP2, I got the "Service pack installation cannot continue - one or more components of the system that requires the service pack are missing. Looking for solutions, concluded the MS 'this may be due to the installation of VLite"only resolution is to re - install with OEM disc.

  If that's what I did, re-installed, (repair - upgrade), once again. Load and run fine, ran all updates to windows. When I tried to install SP2 I got the "Service pack installation cannot continue - is missing one or more components of the system which requires service pack"-NEW.

  I have:

  -tried several times

  -uninstalled VLite (of fat)

  -Disabled antivirus, Norton 360

  -Downloaded the standalone KB948465 - X 64

  -guarantees for KB955430 and all updates were installed

  -Ran "reset windows update components.

  -Re-installed "Windows updater.

  -We searched MS forum and Web site for help, can't find anything on the message of"missing components".

  -Ran "System tool" KB947821

• 7130 on the new computer with Win7 usb auto installation, cannot now w/ethernet network

  I have a 7130 Officejet which is connected to my network by ethernet.  I just bought a new computer with Windows 7.  This printer does not have a downloadable driver for Windows 7, but the drivers that are compatible with the printer are delivered pre-installed on Win7.  The problem is that I have to connect the printer by USB to activate and install the drivers, which I did.  I don't see a way to restore a connection to the printer via ethernet after the use of the installation of the USB driver.  This will be necessary, because I'm changing more than one computer to Win7.

  OK, assuming that the printer is connected to your network with an IP address valid:

  My old motherboard gave the soul, and I have now installed a Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H with an AMD Phenom 6 processor and 4 GB of RAM.  The 2 HD is a Maxtor Sata 1 300 GB ones. One is divided into 2 equal partitions, the other has a single partition. During installation, it hangs at a blue screen during the "installing devices" and towards the end of the indicator. Removing everything except the essential, makes no difference.

  Cooler: Antec 620 or Air cooling? ... The Antec will not do better than air cooling and not be much quieter with a fan of 1400 RPM / min. Alternative is CoolerMaster H212 EVO air cooling.

  RAM: 4 x 4 GB 1600... good

  GPU: Asus GTX 670... Very well

  SSD: OCZ Vertex 4 128 GB... Doubtful. OCZ has a high failure rate and is not very fast. I would look at Samsung 830, Corsair Pro Performance, or Intel 520 or Crucial M4.

  HARD DRIVE: WD 1 TB... Get a couple more black if you don't count the raids. Ever green or blue. If the raids in a parity raid, opt for Seagate Barracuda, Constellation ES or Hitachi sister/Ultrastar.
