  Have you tried the three methods of cutting and pasting? Using the keyboard shortcuts CTRL-X CTRL-V, right click on the file and selecting cut, then using the tape from the file Explorer / File menu.

  If you have tried all three, the next thing to try is a boot minimum to see if something is in the background to block the order. A clean boot loads Windows with the drivers and the minimal software. This link of Support technique Microsoft will show you how do it.

  Once you have made the clean boot try three methods of cutting and pasting. If it works the next step is to go back to msconfig (see Microsoft link above) and enable half the services you shut-off valve to the clean boot. Then try to cut and paste again. Keep half of the remaining services that allows until you cannot cut and paste, then disable half of the services that you just active. This, until what specify you what service has problem.

  If after all that you still have a problem then the next step would be to backup your files on an external hard drive or a USB flash drive and then doing a complete System Recovery.

  1. hold Win + r to open the run
  2. type msconfig and click ok or enter

  4. go to Windows search (you can sort the list in descending alphabetical order)

  If you have installed the French language pack, then some of the applications (Windows 8) will be displayed with the french names and rest will appear in English because the version of Windows installed on the computer will be in English.   Hello!

  Today, I recognized that my Fuze is represented by two devices (with two different drive letters) in the file Explorer. The first device is named "SANSA FUZE" and can be opened, the other has no name and only an error message appears when I try to open it.

After you access a FTP site root and following the instructions, press Alt, then on site click Open FTP in the file Explorer, nothing happens.  We have checked the folder view FTP activate [apart from IE] and use passive FTP mode.  Before the upgrade, we used Windows XP and have been able to open FTP sites in Windows Explorer without any problem.   Saw this question in many variations, but never seen really useful or a response from the authority.

  You have this problem with FILE Explorer, not Internet explorer on Vista and Windows 7, but it does not appear in XP.

  I have folders with large files Nexe (between 4000 and 7000 jpg and TIFF files in a folder) on the SAMBA shares on a Gbit LAN network.

  On a XP machine, a list of files is build in 2-3 seconds in the file Explorer. In Vista and W7, it may take up more than 1-2 minutes! A green bar crawls on top of the file Explorer. I have no idea why this is happening, but it seems NOT linked to the search indexer, that deleting the jpg as a file type files does not solve the problem. Construction of a cache of thumbnails? Unlikely, because it would only slow the first time.

  Please, can someone give me a tip of how improve it, because it's really slow me down in my daily work.

  When you search for files in Windows 7 that is connected to the local network it would slowly start to display the file rather than display all the files at the same time as in Windows XP.

  I suggest that you divide files in large quantity in several files and then check if the problem persists.

When I get home, the Explorer displays message "this folder is empty" in the files Panel. The verification of the drive, set all Full permissions and made all the accessible files writable. No go! At the command prompt, I can navigate the tree of directories very well, see all of the files, their sizes, etc.. Watch File Explorer also, that the record is 110 GB in size. So clearly it is not empty. It shows again, no file or directory inside. Please indicate how I can activate the file Explorer view the contents of this folder? I've never seen this problem before on all versions of Windows OS, I can't find much info related to this problem on the net.

  I initially reported above. Since then, I solved the problem by going to the command line and the removal of an attribute hidden on all files in this folder tree. All files have shown right after this process completed.

  If memory serves, the command line in my case has been
  H + a "disks c:\old" ATTRIB / s

  To be honest I have to say that I tried all the suggestions in the present and similar threads on this issue, related to the permissions as well. Not sure whether that contributed to the outcome, but the command line above was what finally brought everything back to life.

• In Windows 7, I wonder how I can delete my history folder in the file Explorer window. There are folders there appears no longer exist.

  Looking at my history of folder in Windows 7, I see some files that no longer exist on my PC, but still appear in my story.  I would like to know how to get rid of them.  I tried to look in the internet options, as deleting the history of IE is the closest thing to you that I could find, but there is nothing there to affect the file Explorer.  Also, I couldn't find anything in the folder for this options.

  Go to the following location on your computer and delete the contents of the historical record. And then check if your problem is resolved.

  C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\History

  AppData is a hidden folder, so you will need to follow the steps below to view it.

  1. Click Start and then click computer.

  2. click on tools (if you are unable to see Tools option, and then press the ALT key on the keyboard).

  3. Select folder options.

  4. on the view tab, select Show hidden files and folders (in advanced settings)

  5. now click on the Ok button.

  I have a html file that are uploaded after the application starts. I would use the browserfield to view these html pages.

  Help I need is;

  • Is there an internal writable directory where I can store my html files and access it from browserfield, at the same time, it should not be accessible from the file Explorer.

  BB OS is much older. If you want to work with the use of the modern system of BB10

  In Windows 7, the AllUsers folder is not a real file.

  It is a symbolic link that redirects to the C:\ProgramData folder.

  ProgramData is not hidden, by default.

  The correct syntax for the Attrib command would be,

  C:\>attrib h ProgramData

  You can view all files by going to the tab options\View Organize\Folder and research.

  In the section files and hidden files , place a check mark in the Show drives, folders and hidden files.

  Click Apply/OK.
