APEX: Audit trail, what status of transaction has been validated

Hi Expert, need your help fast

I created an audit to capture file that made the changes and what has been done changes when

never the Delete / Update / MRU /MRD is clicked

The question is what is the transition_name to tell me that the user has clicked the button Delete or MRU, etc.

while I can store in the Audit file.

That is to say I don't know who, when and what the transition was done

I think you can use the trigger to achieve

for example

CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER  "MY_TABLE_BIU_TRG"
BEFORE INSERT OR UPDATE
  ON MY_TABLE
  FOR EACH ROW
BEGIN
  IF INSERTING THEN
      :NEW.CREATED_DATE := SYSDATE;
      :NEW.CREATED_BY := NVL (v ('APP_USER'), USER);
      :NEW.TRANSITION := 'Insert';
  END IF;
  IF UPDATING THEN
      :NEW.MODIFIED_DATE := SYSDATE;
      :NEW.MODIFIED_BY := NVL (v ('APP_USER'), USER);
      :NEW.TRANSITION := 'Update';
  END IF;

END;

Hope this will give you an idea.

Kind regards

Jitendra

  • How can I find what version of iTunes has been used with my iPod.

    My computer with the installed iTunes died. I tried to load iTunes in my new computer, and then use it with my iPod and I get the error message that another version of iTunes has been used to record music on my iPod.  The new iTunes wants to erase everything on my iPod and start over.   Is the only place in all the songs I have on my iPod so I don't want to erase it and start over. I need to know what version of iTunes has been used with my iPod, the last time that I've updated so that I can download the version of iTunes and my iPod allows to recover all my songs in iTunes.   In turn if there is a way that I can download all my iPod songs in a folder on the computer and then reload them in iTunes.

    That is to say that a different library was used. The version is not really relevant. If your old computer and new were both running the same version you'd still see the same message unless you have migrated your library or restored a backup. See recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device.

  • Programmatically determine what port of entry has been selected

    I use the default sequential model which has two entry points, Test DUT and Single Pass. I would like to determine in my sequence of what entry point has been selected by the operator. It is possible to programmatically determine what port of entry has been chosen, and if so where is that hidden in the massive TestStand API and properties?

    I would have preferred the entry point name to return.

    As long as you're MainSequence, then you can use RunState.Caller.Sequence.Name

    Otherwise, use RunState.Root.Sequence.Name

    Hello

    I plan to buy an iPhone 5s this month of December, 2015 of an apple authorized online retailer, as the price is cheaper there. They say they will deliver a phone in 2015. What happens if they deliver a phone in January? Assuming exhaust the battery for all these 11 months of unused period up to the date of my purchase, will the battery become defective as soon as its normal life expectancy? Sorry for my bad English

    Hello HowardTeten,

    There's a freeware app called Magic Jelly Bean http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/ it is a keyfinder. Download and run that and it will tell you which product key you use. All you need to do is then check to the back of the case of Windows to see which matches.

  • Pro NAS ix4-200r "failure has been detected" but what kind of failure?

    I have a NAS Pro StorCentre ix4-200r that reports "data is available, but a failure has been detected." However the event log no is not actually tell me what type of failure has been detected.

    In the settings, the discs show normal. I went through the manual and each control panel and there is no reference to what the error is referring to.

    How can I identify the real fault? The message means that the data corruption has been detected? A disk is a failure? This Smart triggerred a function call? It checks external drives? Is there a way to get the logging level and the coup an integrity check / diagnosis?

    Go ahead I either need to disconnect and check each one individually using something like Seatools (which won't help if it's simply the corruption of data), drive or format the SIN and start over (which will not help if there is a failing drive). Any ideas?

    It is strange that the sdb and SDC are out of use, but SDS 3 must be the HDD in slot 1.

    If you really want to test this situation, you can remove the disc and then re-run the log dump and check with the same process.

  • Apex - with the external database audit trail

    I'm currently installing a primitive audit trail that allows me to record data, create users, update, update user. I currently have 3/4 but I can not get the user name in the database like V ('APP_USER') is at the top and the database in Oracle 10 G elsewhere.

    Suggestions or alternative ideas?

    f1f7a787-7f56-4451-8300-5a9a0215226b

    If v() and apex_application.g_user are not available in the trigger on the external database code.

    But the external database package variables and procedures are available on the database running APEX.

    What I would do, is to create a package with a package variable that will contain the user of the apex. (in the external database)

    Then, in the application definition > session database > initialization code PL/SQL defined this package to the apex user variable.

    Clear the package again variable in the cleanup code.

    Using a package variable means that the value is aviable at the session of entire database but not outside the East.

    Apex every page load or submit and load next page is a database session.

    Now the package variable will be set when a user of the apex and the null value when there is a database user.

    Using an nvl around the package with user variable as an alternative, will give you the user apex when the action was made by a user of the apex and the database user is not.

  • Audit trail - on tables

    Hello, I got where I got to watch the scenario changes which makes the user.

    It was easy for me to monitor on a regular basis. But when it comes in the form that the form doesn't have any associated point page... I had to use the trigger on the table.

    But on the use of the trigger on table, I noticed that the relaxation begins when you delete records from all the tables changing. COS even the Audit trail data in table are deleted right here. So is there a way I can monitor the removal of records from APEX part INSTEAD OF trigger on table tabular presentation.

    Thank you.

    So is there a way I can monitor the removal of records from APEX part INSTEAD OF trigger on table tabular presentation.

    I recommend you implement the verification on the side of the database, rather than on the side 'client' (Apex), as this would work regardless of the client (sqlplus, ODP.NET program, etc.) is used to update the data.

    Depending on your version of the database and the license, you can use the "Total Recall" feature, which manages in fact for you:

    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/issue-archive/2008/08-Jul/o48totalrecall-092147.html

    + "Oracle Total Recall provides many advantages over traditional archival methods based on demand and trigger.» First of all, archiving data are inviolable. No database user, not even privileged users, cannot change the historical record. This level of security is increasingly required by government regulation. No programming effort is necessary. There is no table archive design, no code to write and no trigger to debug. The result has much less risk than any which can damage inadvertently archive. The performance impact is minimal. There is no direct impact on the flow of transactions, because the processes involved in archiving run asynchronously. Oracle Total Recall is implemented natively in the Oracle database and application-transparent. You can implement it under a running application without making changes to existing code. » +

    Or you can use the trigger approach as you tried.

    But on the use of the trigger on table, I noticed that the relaxation begins when you delete records from all the tables changing. COS even the Audit trail data in table are deleted right here.

    This should not happen if you use a separate table to save the audit trail information in.

    For example, if you have the EMP table, you create a table named (for example) $ AUD EMP, which is identical in structure, except that it has additional columns to track audit date, user name and operation (insert, update, delete).

    Then you put a trigger "for each line" on EMP to save the changes to the AUD$ EMP. You can delete all you want from EMP, it does not table mutation error.

  • The transaction is no longer active - Transaction has expired after 30 seconds

    We have an intermittent error here, and I'm a rookie. The error will cause a 500 sent to the client every 10-20 POSTS and only occurs under heavy load. Heavy load exceeds for the day, but he'll be back.

    My first suspicion was the app work transaction code and database performance problems. But the app is not transactional and database is fine. The firm (4) server nodes all the problems at equal rates, and other applications on the farm are very well, so it seems to be specific app rather than rooted in the State of the server or database.

    It was actually my first conclusion as well. But when I went to the Source of data for this connection, I found that it is a driver not transactional. It's what made me go back and give the track a second look. I don't see any reference to the Source of the data in question. It is OpenJPA tips and tricks Session persistence.

    Non - XA drivers can still participate in an XA transaction through a variety of options for a JDBC data source - for example, "1PC" and "WURA" marked on the console. (If you want to understand the search terms "JTS" or "WURA" in the edocs JDBC).

    You seem to suggest that perhaps the adjustment can be made in a doc config, possibly of the application itself, right?

    Right. EJB have a transaction-timeout attribute.

    Rather than put in the console.

    WebLogic is a domain wide transaction-timeout by default that can be set on the console, but I tend to not recommend to use it. In addition, there is what is called a 'plan of deployment', which can be used to replace some of the common attributes EJB through the configuration, but I know personally use.

    But is not steam setting, if we use a nonXA driver?

    Laughing out loud

    I wonder if this thing could not tell me that he has to wait on the next available persistence subsystem to store simple session data?

    Sometimes, the problem is that there are applications app more complex/superiors of other periodicals. Sometimes the system is simply overloaded and takes 30 seconds to honour a request that can take normally 10 seconds.

    This other application is all about persistence. What happens if app2 suck a dry persistence subsystem and app 1 expected just to store session data?

    Could be.

    If the nonXA thing really doesn't kill not the quick workaround solution timeout, how could I-health check of the persistence subsystem?

    Don't know. At a wild guess I check for CPU 100% on all the parties concerned is used and review database statistics.

  • Has been approved - has blocked for now, and then unlocked - no more shows. RSS feed problem or what?

    See you soon,.

    I was in the last phase of the construction of my podcast site (http://fontoradio.fi).
    I wanted to send to iTunes in advance to make sure I can get it out here too, as soon as I publish my Web site.

    Everything went very well: my podcast has been approved, and the iTunes search tool found, with two episodes of test I had included in the RSS feeds (real episodes that are intended to be implemented later). Then, I wanted to make sure that nobody'd, as I had already begun Fonto Radio talking to friends etc.

    I published a new RSS feed (using the app charger), with ' block in iTunes: Yes "and behold, my podcast do not appear in iTunes. Excellent!

    After completing the site, I've made a new RSS yet, with ' block in iTunes: No. That was five days ago.
    Fonto Radio can not always be found on iTunes.

    Well if I choose 'send the podcast' drop iTunes and paste the feed URL (http://fontoradio.fi/FontoRadio.xmlhttp://fontoradio.fi/FontoRadio.xmlhttp://fontoradio.fi/FontoRadio.xmlhttp://fontoradio.fi/FontoRadio.xmlhttp://fontoradio.fi/FontoRadio.xmlhttp://fontoradio.fi/FontoRadio.xml) in the box, he gets up and I can listen to the trailer, the only published point/episode.

    What do you think of that cause?

    Thanks for any informed guesses or made in advance.
    Best,

    City

    The store normally does not accept feeds with episodes of test, so it is possible that you have been deleted for that reason - when you said it was available, it was in the iTunes Store, not only in the iTunes application? Have you received an email of acceptance by giving you the iTunes Store page? If it has been removed you should have received an e-mail saying so - check your spam trap.

    There is another question - your image podcast is too large to 3 889 x 3, 889px and 2.5 MB. With this image, I am surprised that you have been accepted in the first place.

    If you need create a new image, 1400 x 1400 minimum and maximum 3000 x 3000 and less than 500 KB. Then you need at least a good episode in the power supply.

    Then try to submit to https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/publishPodcast . If you receive a message saying that it's already been submitted you could try to change the name a bit (you can change it back once accepted).

    Otherwise, go to https://itunespodcasts.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and click on the triangle to the right of the field "Choose a topic" - select "Reactivate feed" and proceed from there.

    Avoid using third-party software that claims to clean your computer. This software does more harm than good. In addition, you don't need it. Note that all computers become slower over time even in the normal conditions of use. Generally, the experienced users erasing the hard drive and do a clean install from scratch at least once a year or every time that the installation of a major upgrade of the OS. Well sure doing so also means that you need to maintain regular and several backups.

    Add more RAM or reduce the number of simultaneously executed from applications and utilities. Remove unnecessary software such as anti-malware and that promises to clean your Mac. Look for the runaway process: Runaway applications can shorten the battery life, affect performance and increase the heat and fan acti... See also:

    Things you can do to solve the slow Downs

    If your computer seems to run slower, here are some things you can do:

    Start with tours: OS X maintenance - MacAttorney;

    The X Lab: the X-frequently asked questions.

    " Safe mac" Mac Performance Guide;

    " Safe mac" the myth of the dirty Mac;

    Maintenance fast Mac Help.

    Start in Safe Mode , and then repair your hard disk and permissions:

    Fix the hard disk and permissions before Lion

    Boot from your OS X install disk. After the installer loads, choose your language and click on the button continue. When the menu bar appears select utility drive in the Utilities menu. After that the charges of THE select your entry from hard drive (mfgr. ID and car size) in the list on the left.  In the status area, you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is faulty or has failed. (State SMART is not reported on external drives Firewire or USB). If the drive is "verified", then select your OS X volume in the list on the left (subentries under the entry for the road), click the first aid tab, then click the repair disk button. If THE reports any errors that have been corrected, and then run repair disk again until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported, click repair permissions. Wait until the operation is complete, then exit FROM and return to the installer.

    Repair the hard drive - Lion-Lion/mountain/Mavericks

    HD recovery start:

    Restart the computer and after the buzzer, press on and hold down the COMMAND and R until it appears the screen of Menu utilities. Otherwise, restart the computer and after the buzzer, press on and hold down the OPTION key until the Boot Manager screen. Select recovery HD disk icon and click on the button below.

    When the recovery menu appears, select disk utility. If no error is not reported, then click repair permissions. Wait until the operation is complete, then exit FROM and return to the main menu. Select restart from the Apple menu.

    Restart your computer normally and see if it helped at all. Then do little maintenance:

    For disk utility can't handle situations, the best third party is Disk Warriorutility;  Fixed DW only for problems with the disk directory, but most disk problems are caused by the corruption of directory; Warrior drive 4.x is now compatible with Intel Mac.

    Note: Alsoft ships DW on a bootable DVD that will boot Mac running Snow Leopard or earlier. He cannot start Mac that came with Lion or later preinstalled, however, DW will work on these models.

    Suggestions for OS X maintenance

    OS X performs certain maintenance functions that are supposed to take place on a daily, weekly, or monthly period. Maintenance scripts that are run at the beginning AM only if the computer is turned on 24/7 (no sleep). If this isn't the case, then a great solution is to download and install a shareware like Macaroni, JAW PseudoAnacronor Anacron utility that will automate the maintenance regardless of whether activity if the computer is off or asleep.  Dependence on third-party utilities to run periodic maintenance scripts has been significantly reduced since Tiger.  These utilities have little or no functionality with Snow Leopard or later version, and must not be installed.

    OS X automatically defrags files smaller than 20 MB in size, so unless you have a disk full of very large files it little need to defragment the hard drive.

    Under no circumstances should you install operating MacPaw or ZeoBit software (CleanMyMac/CleanMyDrive or Mac Keeper, respectively.) You don't need special software to keep your computer.

    Open Safari, select Preferences from the Safari menu. Click the Extensions icon in the toolbar. Disable all Extensions. If it stops your problem, then re-enable one by one until the problem returns. Now remove this extension as it is the origin of the problem.

    The following comes from user stevejobsfan0123. I made minor changes to adapt to this presentation.

    Difficulty a few pop ups browser that supported Safari

    Common pop - ups include a message saying that the Government has taken over your computer and you pay release (often called "Moneypak"), or a false message saying that your computer has been infected and you need to call a number of tech support (sometimes claiming to be Apple) to get it to be resolved. First of all, understand that these pop-ups are not caused by a virus and that your computer has not been assigned. This "hack" is limited to your web browser. Also understand that these messages are scams, so don't pay not money, call number, or provide personal information. This article will give an overview of the solution to remove the pop-up window.

    Quit Safari

    Usually, these pop-ups will not go by clicking 'OK' or 'Cancel '. In addition, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in grey, including the option to leave Safari. You'll probably force quit Safari. To do this, press command + option + ESC, select Safari, press on force quit.

    Relaunch Safari

    If you restart Safari, the page will reopen. To avoid this, hold the "Shift" key when opening Safari. This will prevent windows since the last time that Safari was running since the reopening.

    It will not work in all cases. The SHIFT key must be maintained at the right time, and in some cases, even if done correctly, the window is displayed again. In these circumstances, after force quit Safari, turn off Wi - Fi or disconnect Ethernet, depending on how you connect to the Internet. Then restart Safari normally. He'll try to reload the malicious Web page, but without a connection, it will not be able to. Leave this page by entering a different URL, i.e. www.apple.com and try to load it. Now you can reconnect to the Internet and the page that you entered is displayed rather than the malicious.

    An excellent link to read is Tom Reed Mac Guide of malicious programs.

    If you need antivirus protection Thomas Reed recommends to use ClamXAV. (Thanks to Thomas Reed to this recommendation.)

    The user Joe Bailey comes this equally useful advice:

    The facts are:

    1. There is no anti-malware software can detect 100% of malware out there.

    2. There is no anti-malware that can detect all targeting the Mac.

    3. the best way to prevent breaches the most is for you as the user is aware that

    the most successful malware attacks rely on sophisticated social engineering

    techniques preying on human greed, * and fear.

    4 Internet pop-up windows telling the FBI, NSA, Microsoft, your ISP has detected malware on

    your computer is designed to trick you into installing their malware thinking it's a

    protection against malware.

    5. some of the anti-malware market products are worse than malware

    go where they are supposed to protect you.

    6. be careful where you go on the internet.

    7. don't download anything from sites, you know are safe.

    8 avoid links that you receive in email, always be wary, even if you get something

    you think a friend is, but that you did not expect.

    9. If there is any question in your mind, then assume that it is malware.

    Troubleshooting Applications

    I recommend that you download a utility such as TinkerTool System, OnyX, Mavericks Cache Cleaneror hiding a Cocktail that you can use to delete the former newspapers and archives, cleaning, etc. Corrupted cache, logs or temporary files can slow down the application or OS X crashes and panics of the kernel.

    If you have leopard snow or leopard, then for similar repairs install Applejackfreeware utility.  If you do not start in OS X, you can boot into single-user mode , where you can run Applejack to make a set of routines for repair and maintenance of the command line.  Note that it takes 1.5 AppleJack for Leopard. AppleJack 1.6 is compatible with Snow Leopard. Applejack does not work with Lion and later versions.

    Basic backup

    For some people, Time Machine will be more than enough. Time Machine is part of Mac OS X. There are two components:

    1. a panel of Time Machine preferences as part of the system of preferences;

    2. a request for Time Machine, located in the Applications folder. It's

    used to manage backups and restore backups. Time Machine

    requires a backup drive that is at least twice the capacity of the

    drive being backed up.

    You can also get an external drive at least equal to the size hard disk internal and make (and maintain) a bootable clone/backup. You can make a bootable clone using the disk utility's restore option. You can also create and maintain clones with good backup software. My personal recommendations are (the order is not significant):

    1 Carbon Copy clone

    2. get backup

    3 already seen

    4 superDuper!

    5. Synk Pro

    6. Tri-Backup

    Visit The FAQ XLab and read the FAQ on the backup and restore.  Also read How to back up and restore your files. For using Time Machine, visit FAQ Time Machine of Pondini for help with all this time Machine.

    Referenced software can be found at MacUpdate .

    Additional tips

    Make sure you have a sufficient amount of RAM installed for the number of applications you run simultaneously. Make sure to leave a minimum of 10% of the capacity of the hard disk as free space.

    Add more RAM. If your computer less than 2 GB of RAM and you use OS X Leopard or later, then you can do it with more RAM. Snow Leopard and Lion works much better with 4 GB of RAM that is their system. Most concurrent applications, that you tend to use the more RAM you should have.

    Always have at least 15 GB, or 10% of the capacity of your hard disk as free space, the largest. OS X frequently accesses your hard disk, so offering enough free space will keep things slow down.

    Check for applications that may be hogging the CPU:

    Before Mavericks

    Open the activity monitor in the Utilities folder.  Select all processes in the drop process .  Click the % CPU column heading twice to display in descending order.  If find you a process that uses a large amount of time processor (> = 70,) then select the process, and then click the quit icon in the toolbar.  Click the force quit button to kill the process.  See if that helps.  Don't forget to mention the name of the runaway process, so you can find the cause of the problem.

    Mavericks and later versions

    Open the activity monitor in the Utilities folder.  Select all processes in the menu display .  Click the CPU tab in the toolbar.

    This problem occurs often because of a corrupted cache or the preferences file or an attempt to write in a corrupted log file.
