• Urgent Production APEX installation problem

  I had to install APEX my databases from business Dev, QA and Production. Installs it first three took place without a hitch. I installed APEX on Production over the weekend, and when I imported my apps everything was going well. I then went to run the application on the machine of the prd and I noticed that my action of interactive report button did not work. I then opened Application Buiilder to display the page. When I arrived at the page I could not see anything in the Page Rendiering, Page processing components and shared areas. I checked the Apache error log and found a bunch of these errors:
  I checked all of my apex objects are valid in the database. You're help would be greatly appreciated.

  Is it possible that you have not correctly mapped to the directory of the East?

  For example, from a browser, you can go to: :/i/libraries/jquery-ui/1.8/ui/minified/jquery-ui-1.8.custom.min.js? He would like the file see you at: http://apex.oracle.com/i/libraries/jquery-ui/1.8/ui/minified/jquery-ui-1.8.custom.min.js.

• Apex installation problem: / pls/apex/apex_admin = > HTTP 404

  Install new to Apex in Oracle 10.2.0.4 3.2.1, using Oracle HTTP Server Oracle AS 10 g 3. Not yet applied the patch.
  
  When I navigate to http://{host:port}/pls/apex/apex_admin to create a workspace, I get an HTTP 404 error.
  
  In the Apache log, I get: [Thu Aug 27 13:16:39 2009] [error] [client #] [ecid: #] mod_plsql: / pls/apex/apex_admin HTTP-404 \napex_admin: PROCEDURE is not EXIST\n
  
  There is a public synonym APEX_ADMIN, but this points to APEX_030200.APEX_ADMIN, which does not exist. Should APEX_030200 have a private synonym called APEX_ADMIN?
  
  I ran apxchpwd.sql.
  
  I know that the DAD is working, because navigate to http://{host:port}/pls/apex Gets an HTTP 302, with a page saying "ERR - 1014 Application not found. ';
  
  Can anyone help? What went wrong with the installation? Should I reinstall?

  Maybe you run the runtime only installation script apxrtins.sql.

• 3.2 APEX installation problem

  I've updated APEX3.0.1 to APEX3.2.
  But the admin login page displays only plaintext as below and two fields text and "connect" button.
  It is quite different from the normal login page that has formatted fonts and bars of color etc.
  Especially, when I enter username and password in the text fields and click on the login button, nothing happens.
  I missed something?

  You could try that, but I think that you may be blocked again.

  If you don't get any joy from apxldimg, then you must either start again, or look for further assistance (Incidentally it seems that you must also run apxchpwd.sql to set the admin password. Then you could try to connect using username: admin, password: everything you specified to see if it's only the images that is broken).

  You have a support contract with Oracle - they should be able to walk through it.

  It would be much easier if I could log into the system, for the moment, I do this Store.

• Streets & trips 2013 details download installation problems...

  The installation seems to work, but the program may not be running.  Control Panel verifies that the software is installed (1.8 GB) while the installer has not created an S & T normal ICON and the software cannot be loaded even by clicking on the executable file in the program directory files. I have installed/uninstalled the program several times.  Turned off Norton antivirus and firewall and Windows Firewall protection. Restarted again and again. Nothing has worked...

  -Error message: "cannot find a network share or removable device, the DVD is not in the drive or installing this application is damaged.  Make sure that the drive you installed is attached, the DVD is in the drive, your network is connected, or run the installation again from its original installed location. (5-40003-6) ".

  ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A FIX FOR THIS PROBLEM YET?

  (1) what is the complete error message you receive?

  (2) what version of Windows you are using on the computer?

  (3) updates are you referring?

  Method 1: Try to install the program as an administrator do a right click on the program installation files and select run as administrator, click on continue if you are prompted to confirm.

  Method 2:  Select the boot and then check if the problem persists

  1. have you checked the disk installation for scratches or damage?
  2. don't you try to install the game in the other computer?
  3. What is the operating system that is currently installed on your computer?
   
  First of all I suggest to perform a disk cleanup and check whether the problem is resolved.
   
  The disk cleanup tool helps you free up space on your hard disk to improve your computer's performance. The tool identifies files that you can safely remove, and then allows you to choose if you want to remove some or all of the files identified.
  
  To use disk cleanup in Windows 7 follow these steps below.
   
  a. Click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, click System Tools and then click on disk cleanup. If several readers are available, you may be asked to specify which drive you want to clean.
  b. when disk cleanup has calculated how much space you can free of charge, in the dialog cleaning disc, scroll through the content of the files to delete list.

  c. clear the check boxes for files that you do not want to delete, and then click OK.

  For more options, such as cleaning of system restore and files copy of Shadow, under Description, click on clean up the system files, and then click the other Options tab.

  I also suggest you to run chkdsk.
  Follow these steps:
   
  a. click on start
  b. Type "cmd" in the start search box
  c. right-click on cmd.exe list programs and then select the run as Administrator option. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue
  d. in the command prompt window, type the following command and press enter Chkdsk/r X:
   Note: in this command, x is a placeholder that represents the drive letter of the volume you want to check.
  a. press y when you are prompted to check the drive the next time the system restarts.
  b. close all applications and restart the computer.
   
  Note: upon reboot, Windows checks the drive for errors, and then Windows starts
  
  After the computer restarts, repeat steps 1 through 4 for the other volume and then check if the disk cleanup works.
   
  If the steps provided above does not resolve the problem then I suggest to install the game using the cleanboot and check for the issue.
  Put your system to the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items
  the origin of the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and re-
  install the program.

• Vista Home Premium SP2 installation problems

  SP2 says its installed but Windows Update shows it as an available update. When I view the system information, it still shows only installed SP1. I tried the standalone install and I got error 0 X 80070564 connection failed. SP2 shows as has been properly installed on Windows updates the history but it shows also the lack of installation after 2-3 hours to install, restart, then back to sp1. I stop all AV, Spyware, adware, Windows Defender by other items on the SP2 installation problems. I also ran system preparation and the System File Checker. I am running Vista Home Premium 32 bit on computer laptop HP DV5 Dual Core. I have not found anything on the failure error connection displayed in the standalone sp2 update.

  I would recommend trying to create a new user account with administrative privlages and you try to upgrade to SP2 from here. This will tell us if it has something to do with the internal components of your user account.

  ·         Did you check if the webcam is displayed in Device Manager?

  Try the following.

  Method 1: Run the next Fixit tool and see if it helps.
