any ideas on how to solve the PSC 2410.unable installation problem install psc 2410 due to failure to the requirements of the system administrator. I am only one user on Windows Vista PC

    Try to get the PSC 2410 all in 1 printer at work.  It shows flashing 'on' light, animated hourglass icon on the screen, makes noises as if I try to print whenever I turn it on, but does not pull paper.  Sounds stop after 1-2 minutes, but printer remains inadmissible.  This seems to have originated when I accidentally disconnected the USB port while trying to remove a paper jam.  Have tried all the diagnostics, reset the machine by the orientation of the Web site, but no luck.  Goes into the same mode every time I start her if connected to the PC or not.

    There is no HP software to configure the scan button.

    I have a HP PSC 2410 Photosmart all-in-one I can neither be fax or scan. I deleted the software and recharged using at least 6 times the CD or nothing helps online downloads. HP Director does not show that they are in the system. I use a HP Pavilion dv 5000 portable computer. Never had problems for years and all of a sudden, I realized that I could fax is no longer.

    I used one of online methods to fix my HP Director and now everything works as it should.

  • PSC 2410 photosmart does not print after installation of OX 10.6 & Lion: message "failure to communicate".

    I just installed Snow Leopard and Lion (10.7.2).

    My hp psc 2410 photosmart printer repeatedly gives me the following message in the queue of the printer:

    Failure to communicate: the computer is no longer able to communicate with your printer. Turn off the printer, check your printer connections and look for errors in the printer and turn on the printer.

    I have deleted all the files of hp of the system library (suggested in an Apple forum), ran from the Apple software updates and recreated the printer queue in the printer preferences and Scan.

    What to do before having to run out and get another printer? Everything that I am interested is in the printing industry;

    analysis on this hp didn't happen for several OS updates.

    I'm sorry to hear that the problem persists.

    Please, check the following:

    1. The printer is connected directly to a free port on your Mac OS and not via a Usb hub, extention, a port of Mac keyboard or through any airport base?
    2. Make sure that the cable is not more than 2-3 meters of length and directly connected to the Mac as described above.
    3. Try to switch to a different USB port on your Mac.

    If the problem continues without change, I suggest you try using another USB cable and then check for any progress.

    Although the printer worked fine with the previous Mac OS (as far as I can understand your description), any defective USB may react differently on another OS...

    Hello, hoping someone can help me with this...

    I have a problem with my printer (psc 2410 all in one)

    During a simple formulation document printing, the printer ran out of paper and could not continue printing paper had been completed. I checked for paper jams - there is no. The print job has been cancelled and the printer and turned it over.

    From the market, it seems now stuck - the power button flashing continuously and the display only I get is the 'busy' hourglass icon... no other error messages or beeps. I can hear the printer through movements start, the flow of paper moving and then he seems hang somewhere and made a repetitive thud. This noise stops after about 1 minute and the display and flashing remain.

    I tried the hard reset several times, I even left it the day after. I noticed that the USB cable, jumped, but the printer also shows online on the computer... I tried to a maintenance operation, but he is not letting all through all print jobs. It's happened a few times when starting upwards, but apparently not however resolve no chance this week.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    While I insert the printer USB cable to the laptop, it runs the Windows Live Update automatically and fails in the final task, the installation of the driver. It says "hp psc 2400 series - has failed.

  • HP PSC 2410 Photosmart all-in-one printer SLOW printing

    All of a sudden my HP PSC 2410 Photosmart all-in-one printer has started printing very, very, very slowly. If at all. It took almost 30 minutes (1/2 hour) to print only 1 page word document. I am on Windows 7 OS.

    Dialogue problems says everything is fine. An attempt to print a test page was even worse. He printed only the top 1/4 of the race and that it was illegible.

    I ran CrapCleaner, Norton full scan and I was able to print for about a day before the problem returns.

    I also had problems with copy. I noticed that the missing parts were color text or photos. There was no indication that the Tricolor cartridge was low or empty, but I replaced it in any case and VOILA... print is returned to normal and fine everyting.

    I would have thought there would be some am indicator when the cartridge is low, but it was not.

    I bought a new computer that uses 7 (64 bit) of Windows operating system. I have attached a PSC 2410 Photosmart all-in-one printer. The auto-duplex feature is no longer available, manual duplex printing is available. When this printer was attached to the previous auto-duplex printer unit funtioned perfectly. Only change was to the old unattach & reattach again.

    This problem can be resolved or do I use the manual funtion?

    The duplexer must be activated as described in the "Vista/Wixndows 7 Duplex Printing Troubleshooting Guide".

    I see you are having a printing problem of IE. I suggest you to reset the settings of the browser.

    Reset Internet Explorer default settings

    1. open Internet Explorer

    2. click on tools

    3. click on Internet Options

    4. click on the Advanced tab

    5 locate the section reset Internet Explorer settings

    6. click on the reset button

    7. click on Ok

    8. restart Internet Explorer

    Try to print again.  If it prints normally let us know.
