  I found duplicated in the table "fnd_languages" lines & removed the duplicate lines, now it works fine.

  I then signed off CC and back in. Although I can sign to OK the screen of the app Apps CC is now a clock is going along, but nowhere - the Apps screen is actually empty.

• APIType and SCORM API

  Andrews Chemey use of SCORM and Captivate article I'm working on a JavaScript API SCORM to integrate the results of Captivate into a web application. I made an API shell and used the example of article and it works perfectly in FireFox. When I went to IE, I can see what API calls Initialize, Commit and Terminate, but no other calls never make my SCORM API. I was looking at the Simulation.htm in the directory of SCORM 2004 Non-Pif and found that if i equals 1 (getURL) areas g_intAPIType there worked in Internet Explorer.
  
  I guess that there are reaons that when it detects IE it was to switch to 0 (fscommand). Anyone can shed some light on this? Is there a setting in Captivate, I need to load my content developers to use to force it to always use 1?

  I'm just trying to develop a SCORM JavaScript API to our LMS. I was using the Captivate to your article (Internet Privacy Assesment) sample to test the API and it fails in IE but was working with FireFox. I was able to make it work by manually changing the APIType to 1. I had a my content creators make a new active with SCORM 2004 Captivate file and now it works fine with the content in all browsers. Maybe it was a version of when you create the article? Anyway, even with this problem the article has been very useful. Thanks for the reply.

  Thanks for the reply. Because I can build a newly created project I think it was just the linked project and not based environment. Going on this assumption, that I just replaced the .project and .cproject with what was generated by the most recent project. After update to those, I'm now able to build using the API levels (all levels of the API have been failing on this project, not only 10.2). If you want to debug, the changes are in Github now (here's the commit: https://github.com/hardisonbrewing/ColorWheel/commit/1a80986141f3e85e9a527f4d44d18496042aafe6).

• Focus of the app lost when VSStudio is open in win 7

  I have a sign in application it's built in .net/Vs2010, when I run it on win 7 with firm... VSStudio app works very well that he steals the focus and works like a forground window... but as soon as I launch visual studio 2010, the leading feature no longer works thereafter. I tried even to change the registry setting to 0 for setforgroundlockedtimeout. but it works until the VS2010 is closed.

  As soon as you open VS2010... win32 api call SetForegroundWindow() fails to keep the foreground window. There after if you shut up VS2010 always not behave in the way that it supposed to be. Let this work once again, I have to restart or logout m/c then app started working as expected, but if you open studio... Update loses automatically from my application for somehwere else.

  Is plase advice the real culprit of VSStudio or something else?

  Can I configure vCO without using a host name for it and set its to connect to vCenter Server by IP address only or dependencies hard out there on DNS?

  As far as I KNOW, there is no hard dependency on DNS so you can save your vCenters using intellectual property.

  Note, however, that this configuration can affect the format of the IDS of vCenter objects used in the vCO what REST API so if your customer REMAINS passes and the object with the DNS name and your vCenter ID is configured by IP, the REST API call may fail.

  Ok. ANSWER FOUND! For anyone who uses LINUX attention to permissions. Very often the errors like "Unable to create the index" with Verity and "500 Internal Server Error" with Apache has to do with Linux permissions. Sometimes a .cfm file will be found on the server if the authorization of his repertoire is not set correctly. I found the solutation for many of my problems with Linux, when I put the CFM directories permissions to 775 and 664 cfm files. In my case, if someone is going through the same problem go to your verity directory and assign the permission of 775 collections and BOOMmmmmmm this MARKET!

  Could someone tell me what am I doing wrong and how to fix it? I changed my account to be an administrator in Essbase (I also selected ALL rights available in Shared Services), but always without success.

• Rapidwiz upgrade to R12.2 - Web Server pre-installation verification failed

  Hello people.

  I'm on the right track to improve my EBS 12.1.3 to R12.2. I did all the pre-reqs/patch before the upgrade according to the DOC: Oracle E-Business Suite Upgrade Guide version 12.0 and 12.1 to 12.2 E48839-02 Réf..

  Finally, I run rapidwiz. However, after entering all the required values, when rapidwiz reached the status of control system, after doing several checks he stuck on 'Web server pre-installation check failed ".

  
  

  System check the status showing window continues same message for 2 hours. For more information please see the screenshot below.

  

  Please, let me know where rapidwiz creates log file so that I can investigate the reason to fail. Also, please try to fix this.

  I'm being upgraded from R12.2.2 to R12.2.4 and upgrade patch 17919161 failed with the text following error occurs when executing POS_SUPPLIER_SEARCH_INDEX.sql.

  My version of the database is 11.2.0.3

  ORA-20000: Oracle text error:

  I found a note: 12.1.3: Procurement Family Update - Rollup current patch file: 18911810:R12. PRC_PF. B (Doc ID 1468883.1) according to the guidelines of this note for the DBMS data base 11.2.0.3 16706896 Patch is recommended to apply.

  My answer to these questions:

  -Can I apply this patch to the 11.2.3.0 for 12.2.4 database version of applications

  -The patch of the database requires to shutdown the database, if I stop the database processes of applications running on the fs2 file system becomes an orphan.

  -How can I manage the applications process

  You must apply this hotfix to help ' adoption phase = apply apply_mode = patches ofdowntime = 17919161 "-Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.4 Readme (Doc ID 1617458.1)

  When you apply patches in this mode, adoption will confirm first application layer services are declining and will then proceed to apply the patch in the editing of the system performance database and Oracle E-Business Suite file. Downtime mode patch does not use a cycle of correction online. The application process for a fix in downtime mode finished faster mode online, but at the expense of increased system downtime.
