• Podcasts App suddenly stops playing

  Since the last major release of Podcsasts I was struggeling with her. Fortunetely some of its bugs have been fixed. Unfortunately for the most annoying bugs have not. Maybe I'm wrong with my opinion, but I really think that the main purpose of the application of Podcasts is to read podcasts, right? So why does he completely suddenly stop playing podcasts? the only thing that can be done is then open the app manually and click the comparable play hidden button and continue playing.   @mgollmick, I have no solutions to your questions but I wanted to add on your frustration about the application of Podcasts.  I started regularly using the Podcast app 6 months ago, and it has always been glitch in a multitude of ways:

  1. when I select a podcast, it won't often begin play immediately, regardless of whether I'm listening to a podcast already downloaded or via wifi.  Sometimes it will take 30 seconds to 1 minute before the podcast begins to play.  At other times, he won't play at all, and I have to close the app and re - manually open it (sometimes several times) until I can play a podcast.  I noticed that I do not suffer the same problem during access to downloaded podcasts offline (for example, during a hike).  This leads to believe that it is a problem of wifi, but I never experience lag issues when you access a music video Youtube or iCloud on my iPhone.

  2. when the list of "Unplayed Épisodes", I'm often impossible to remove (or there is a significant shift to delete) of podcast episodes in which I'm not interested.  I drag an individual podcast episode or click the 'Edit' button to remove podcast episodes, but more often that otherwise, I am unable to do.  Once again, I have to close the application and reopen it manually a couple of times before that I can delete episodes.

  3. the application of Podcast will often suddenly crash within 30 seconds of play an episode.   Sometimes it will crash after playing for an hour, even if I do not have set the sleep timer.   I have to open the app manually and click the 'Play '.

  4. There is often a long latency when trying manually updated list of "Unplayed Episodes.  Why I immediately see new videos for subscribed Youtube channels so I manually update the Youtube app, but it takes a minute or more to see a current list of new episodes of the podcast through Apple app?

  5. the iOS app also does not sync with iTunes on my Macbook or iMac:

  (a) iTunes does not reflect my order of podcasts that appear in "My Podcasts" on iOS.  I have manually re-ordered podcasts on iOS so that I can quickly access my favorite podcasts, but this reorganization does not appear in iTunes even after that I have to sync my phone with my iMac.  In addition, the left column of iTunes (with photos of each subscribed podcast nail) does not list podcast subscriptions in order alphabetical or any other rational means of organization.  It takes time to find a specific podcast under "My Podcasts) to access the episodes.  Why no iCloud synchronize?

  (b) "Unplayed Épisodes" iTunes version does not reflect the most recent episodes that appear on the Podcast app on my phone.   iTunes is about 24 hours of delay in the updates, and when I try to update iTunes manually, it does not work.  Also, I get a message that iTunes stopped updating a podcast special because I have not listened episodes recently.  Why iTunes does not recognize that I regularly listen to this podcast especially through the iOS app? Why this information is not automatically synchronize iTunes via iCloud?

  I've always been a fan of Apple products, and I understand when there are software problems from time to time, but to have so many important issues that impact, use of an application is beyond frustrating.   I understand now better Walt Mossberg recent Re / Code article criticizing Apple for not fixing not important issues with their own applications.  Although his article does not mention issues with Podcasts app, its purpose is also applicable.

I have seen many andriod app I find difference in tactile response.   I have created a simple calculator, added 10 button in a TileGroup. and written a function private void fnAppend(arg:String):void {txtResult.text = txtResult.text + arg;  } call this function "click" event of buttons.   the tactile response of PAP is slow compared to the othere app I've seen. I'm doing it wrong? If I press/tocuh button fast I won't get the result. I need to support very little trigger the event. but othere calculator Andriod App works for light feather touch why is to do?

  You might want to try to set touchDelay = '0' on the button.  If that doesn't help you can you share an example of code?

• Toshiba 39L4333DG star collapsed apps work - no response

  I have the same problem with my "Toshiba - 39L4333DG", because 2 days ago I can't access Featured Apps other services running ok, (internet & other) wi - fi Connection is ok, no new update software is available, I was not touched or changed anything.

  Today, it's all coming back, You Tube & an other apps work again, but too slowly and I have buffering all few seconds, the internet connection is perfect, so maybe I have to wait 1-2 days for all to get back to normal (I hope)

  You can try to delete data for Walkman and see if that helps. To so just go into settings > Apps > all > Walkman > loss Walkman and press clear data. Then retest the app.

  If the problem persists, try to start the phone Safe Mode and see if the same thing happens in Safe Mode, can relate to us.

  I recently bought a new Sony Xperia Z3, after weeks of use in that I started to notice a lot of problems which I would like insight.

  The problems I encounter are all default applications Sony crashing and a few other apps aswell.

  Apps that have crushed are; the contacts app, the messenger app (not facebook), the home screen app, the app, the walkman album and the film application.

  When they crash I get a message saying unfortunately 'application name', has stopped. The only way to make the app work again is to reset the phone.

  This happens quite often which is surprising, given that the phone is new and this is a flagship device.

  The second problem I encounter is the phone reseting itself randomly, this happens about once a day. I belive motivating reset random are the apps is breakers. I think that because when I was using my phone all the apps suddenly crashen, then the phone resets only twice before being used again.

  Hi, I have the latest software updates and I've tried the app from closing a reset and hard reset but it is not worked because I still cannot enter my 'contacts' icon / app as it crashes immediately.  It just started happening this morning and has never done this before! Thank you for your help.
