App Tabs change their "Home" page after the navigation
Hi, I put a few App Tabs on the browser. They are defined for the "Home" page for this site. I navigate on the site of the App tab. When I return to this site later, once again using the App tab, it don't won't go back to the "home page" of this site. He remembers the last page, I sailed on that. I always want to tab App to open on the "home page" of this site. Thank you.
You will need to open the link on an APP tab in a new tab with a middle click or use an extension to protect (lock) APP tabs, so that their location cannot be changed.

Can only connect to the home page after the host switch
We went from a customer site hosting companies.
We have implemented a new Contribute connection key, but we can only change the home page. Other pages we sail to display this message:
You are viewing a page on a Web site that you have not created a connection to.
Double checked the permissions and records, that the key is allowed access too and it's all good.
I must be missing something. Is it possible all the LCK files are corrupt?Hope this helps somehow.
He did it!
You have helped narrow down what needed to be done and focus on the folder that holds the keys.Something went wrong when I tried to "Administration the SIte" in Dreamweaver in Contribute. The same error kept produced (even after I updated the IP address).
I found myself:
1: remove the _mm folder
2: setting up a connection through Contribute (not using Dreamweaver / manually enter the FTP information)
3: login to the site and check that I could change all the pages. (Hooray for that!)
4: returned and got into place as an administrator through Contribute.Thank you from me by browsing. Much appreciated!

Download the home page after the end of the intro in Flash
Hello
Could you please tell me what is the code for access to automatically the homepage of my site after the end of the flash animation.
Visit my website below:
www.transgenic-Rabbit-Models.com
I am not an expert with flash, but I read that classic getURL code does not work in AS3...
Thanks in advance for your help.
Kind regards
Alex
> navigateToURL (http://www.transgenic-rabbit-models.com/home, "_self");
No, which won't work. The URL should be wrapped in a URLRequest as follows:
navigateToURL (new URLRequest ("http://www.transgenic-rabbit-models.com/home"), "_self");
And default.aspx was just an example of page in a site.

I get on the Internet with Firefox, and someone changes my home page of this web site of conduit. I think it's a search engine. In any case, I change back to Yahoo as I want, and they change it right back. I spent the last two nights my antivirus running and try to change my passwords and all that fun jazz and it still happens. Can you do stop, please? I'm tired of resetting my Firefox so that I get rid of this problem too. It's a recurring problem. This is officially the third time, I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox to get rid of this problem, and I'm tired of it.
The Conduit Plugin and associated preferences changes become installed by themselves, the user is involved due to the installation of the extensions of 'shit' or other garbage programs. You must be more careful when they decide which modules or programs you install.
For correct Firefox the first thing to do is remove this extension has entrusted the toolbar through the Add-ons Manager Extensions tab.
https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/remove-toolbar-has-taken-over-your-Firefox-searchThen install the extension search Reset - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset/
Then fix everything: newtab - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/new-tab-page-show-hide-and-customize-top-sites#w_how-do-i-turn-the-new-tab-page-off - preference and instead of double-click that preference, right-click this pref and select ' Reset. "

In previous versions of firefox, I could use about: config to make the new tab opened as my home page. the latest version of firefox doesn't seem to allow this. I find it very frustrating that all the search engines seem to want to dictate what I see when I Browse. I wish to install the new version of firefox
In Firefox pref browser.newtab.url 41 disappeared. This pref has been hijacked by malware so frequently while Mozilla has decided to remove this pref to eliminate this kind of diversion.
You will need an extension like this one to restore.
https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/new-tab-override/Or to have your home page as the new tab page, try this extension.
https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/new-tab-homepage/If you're using Classic theme restaurant, go to the options of CTR > general UI (2) and set your preference for the new tab URL there.
For Super Start , you can use the topic: superstart page.

new tab opens my home page, but I want to open the more visited sites
new tab opens my home page, but I want to open the most visited sites. Ad-aware messed up the settings.
You can check the browser.newtab.url pref on the topic: config page and set this pref to your preferred the new tab page.
- the new default tab with the tiles page is on: newtab
- the default homepage is Subject: Home
- to a blank page, you can use Subject: vacuum
The pref browser.newtabpage.enabled must be set to true to use the page defined through browser.newtab.url like the new tab page.
See this article on the page tab (topic: newtab):
You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue. -

It seems that you might have downloaded some malware or adware. Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac to get rid of him. In the future, avoid the following types of sites to prevent it happening again:
- XXX sites
- torrent sites
- Group download sites (CNET, Softonic, download (dot) com, MacUpdate, etc..)
- MP3 download sites (Mp3 Skull, mp3monkey, etc.)
- No matter what website says you can do or download something for free you know otherwise you would cost money

How can I keep Tuvalo or other sites invasive to change my home page?
Why Firefox can not add a simple question opt-out or the protection password to change the home page?
«X is trying to change your homepage to X.com.» Allow? O/N.After you add that, add: "permanently block access by X.com. O/N.
Web sites do not have permission to change your home page. If you find that it is turned, consider the possibility that you have somehow an extension of thugs.
Try this:
Disable all non-essential or unrecognized extensions on page modules. Either:
- CTRL + SHIFT + a
- Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off. (Or if it is clearly badware, delete).
Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.
Leaving you to restore your homepage?
Some related questions:
(1) if there is no Remove button to an extension, see the control panel. In Windows Vista and 7, the relevant dialog box is "uninstall a program". don't know how it's called point 8.1 of Windows. By clicking on the column heading "installed on" sort by date and unmask possible grouped items that you did not know were being installed. Remove all the nonsense that you can. (If you find something named research protect or BrowserSafeguard, remove it.)
(2) software from third parties can create a file named user.js that Firefox reads at startup and which will replace the saved settings from your previous session. This article describes how to track down and remove this file if you have one: How to fix preferences that will not save.
(3) some utilities such as Advanced SystemCare have a feature to restore your settings changes, allowing lock unwanted parameters. Them is called surf Protection. If you have this or a similar Protection setting (etc.) of the home page that prevents you from making the changes you want, turn off temporarily (or permanently).
(4) in order to mop up unwanted software, try the scanners of other Firefox users have found useful in this article: Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware.
I hope that it will control.

Everytime I open Firefox I get a message: "an attempt to change your home page has been blocked" and firefox crashes.
I unintalled (on my MAC) and reinstalled twice. Makes no difference. Any suggestions?Could you try starting Firefox in Safe Mode? It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable some advanced features of Firefox and extensions. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.
Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the option key when starting Firefox.
If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:
- button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
- Help menu > restart with disabled modules
and OK reboot.
Two scenarios: A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).
Any improvement?
While you are in Mode without failure, you could copy a list of your extensions and paste them into an answer? The best place for this is the support information page - either:
- button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
- (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
- type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter
Scroll down to the Extensions section, and then select from there until the end of the following table with the mouse and copy. Then paste into a response. It may seem a bit messy but don't worry, we're used to it.
In addition, if you check your homepage settings, he changed? This article explains where to find that page preferences: start-up, homepage, tabs and download settings.

latest updates changed my home page to pages I hate im getting fed up
Until the 2 latest updates, I liked Firefox & has never had a single problem, I was happy for the years...
Now, I'm afraid of updates & turn down them because Firefox has started to change my home page & etc, forcing me to waste configuration & restoration time settings.
Why is it you are updates to the application and governs me on im content 100% indifferent (such as the India Yahoo or MSN India)?
Do you interested to the disappointment of the user and lose our loyalty to your product formerly great?Dear support people.
Sorry! I know that this has nothing to with you and you can not help me.
If there is a forum more appropriate, please direct me.Note that there is a pref startup.homepage_override_url Firefox can set to display a page that Firefox has updated.
You should always have your original homepage located in tools > Options > general > startup: HomepageIf you do not keep the changes after a reboot or have problems with preferences, see:
