Apple doesn't disclose your previous balances from iTunes

I already posted this question here before and received no response. iTunes mysteriously are not answering this question either. Can you help me?

I asked for a refund on a purchase of iTunes. Apple said they would give me a refund. Great! However, I didn't have my previous stored balance. There seems to be no way of knowing if the dollars have actually been credited to my balance. Apple says they have, but I do not see my previous balance. I don't see my current balance.

This got me thinking. How do you verify that Apple correctly manage the balance of your iTunes if you do not see the history of the balance. You always remember your balance.

It's great that you can view your purchase history, but if the balance running is not displayed next to each purchase, how do you know that you are not being ripped off?

It's your choice. Believe what says a company billions of dollars, have proof that what it says here is incorrect, or trusting the company that they are worthy of trust. You can, at any time, check your purchase (including credits) story to both iTunes and your credit card statements.

If I had no evidence to the contrary, I want to stay free of any charge.
