• I used all the memory in my iPad and you want to delete some pictures.  Any way to select a large number of photos for deletion at the same time, rather than individually?

  I can't find a way to the iPad to choose a large number of photos at the same time (similar to the use of the SHIFT key to select a group of files in windows).  I would like to delete a large number of photo files to save storage space can be used for the future taking pictures.  I wonder if there is an easier way to do that than to have to select and remove each file individually rather than delete them as a group.  By the way this should be done twice if you want immediate deletion.  There must be an easier way.  We appreciate and support.

  Open your photos > press Select > drag your finger through the photos you want to delete. To remove deleted lately, open the recently deleted album > press Select > tap Delete everything in the upper left corner. -AJ

• Screensaver - Windows Live Photo Gallery - error 'an error prevents this slideshow to play' message

  Thank you for your time.
  On a new installation of Win7Pro screensaver Photo Gallery does not work as you wish.
  It is set up for the default value of C:\USERS\***\PICTURES.
  This setting causes the error.
  If I select a subdirectory of it, it works fine.
  Resolutions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  Hey Wilson,

  This problem may occur if you have any other type of file outside of image files that are stored in the photo folder.

  I suggest you to check that all the files in the folder of photo image files. If you find other types of files as the video file or a music file or any other type of files, I suggest going the other files except the file image to a separate folder or another location and check to see if the screensaver in the photo gallery works just fine.

  Sorry took with the last answer.

  More simple form used something like-Sequence_Filename number suffix

  If an image as _ABC0987.nef will become 0001_0987.nef and 0002_0988.nef, etc.

  Ask your customer to give you the full file name. The suffix indicates the original file.

  (I hope that you only need to search in a folder and do not have a bunch of images named the same that would cause problems!)

  You can here how LR 6 shows 0 photos in folder BILDER 2015. (there are more than 2800 pictures in this folder)

  If you look in the folder date 2015-06-05 (5 June 2015) you can see the number of photos. Why is there 0 photos in the juni 2015 folder and the folder parent BILDER 2015?

  Please click the library menu and choose the "Show pictures in subfolders" option.

  With this option checked, you should be able to see the total number of images in the parent folders.

  Seems like the versions previous of LR (2 and lower) will display the total number of photos in the structure of entire file with the file highlighted.  LR 3.0 and up appears to show only the number of photos in the highest level of file structure. • How to manage the transfer of a large number of photos on CD

  I have about 2400 photos taken several years to put on CD.  I know that all of the processes involved.  The problem is management of the distribution of the pictures on the CD.

  Each CD might hold 700 MB of data, which is a variable number of images.  I did a single folder on the desktop and pictures of 2400 exported in a.  Then, I created a number of cases of burn on the desktop.  Now, I need to select and drag the photos on CD.  Track of what photos have been selected and transferred is the problem.

  I hope that there is a (semi-) automatic way - to separate the photos in the files to Burn.

  Most CD software will automatically request an extra disk to be inserted if the selection isn't in great shape. In other words, you don't need to split the file with all the pictures on them in subfolders first.

  I'm new to this, so please excuse me if I make mistakes ;-)

  When I sync files in Lightroom 6.6, a wrong number of new pictures to import appears.

  If I synchronize without adding new files, LR insists that 371 new files are found. However, the files are not displayed (because they aren't there, of course) but LR keep finding these "ghosts of the files.

  How can I me LR to "forget" these files?

  Any help is greatly appreciated!

  OK, as far as I know, it's what's supposed to happen when you synchronize files that have been imported from photos. County shows all photos in the folder and then, when you click on synchronize, Lightroom realizes that there is no new pictures to add, and so there is effectively nothing. If there were a few new files to add and some old files that does not need to be added, the number in the dialog box would be all the photos in the folder; and then that would be added the new files.
