  I don't know how to add dirver of third party application distribution in LV11 service pack1.

  If you are installing the driver more of a third party, you can also write a batch file to call them, include the batch file in your project, then use 'Executable Run after installation' (see image below) to start the batch file, which in turn will launch installers for your third-party applications.  You can also use the command file to install any support files, the files .ini, etc that your application might need.

  I recently asked Adobe for Adobe Reader distribution certificate. This succeeded, shortly after application, I received an email with the attached license and a download link for Adobe Reader XI, the problem is the link does not work I just get 404 page not found, the link I can not put here that the license will be broken.

  Hello I'm trying to submit an application. I'm in the Application Loader, it asks me to send an .app file. How can I transfer my files that I made in InDesign to .app?

  Did you use DPS App Builder to build your application? You must download the application distribution (.zip) and use the Application Loader to download this .zip file. In DPS App Builder Help menu is connected to two DPS publication of guides. Watch the guide you depend on and follow these instructions.

• Problems of deployment OR after Windows Update

  After completing an update of Windows, all my installers of studio project of measurement (using the configuration and deployment of VS 2010 project) stopped including the VC merge modules ++.

  Long story short, the update improved my Microsoft_VC100_CRT_x86.msm and Microsoft_VC100_ATL_x86.msm files, and new files have different version numbers the installer could not find the merge modules dependencies OR.

  I fixed this problem by crushing the new MSM with old files.

  My question is this: How can I prevent this from happening in the future? Disable Windows Update is not an option for me.

  It seems to me that the libraries NOR should not care about the specific version of the MSM VC100. If VC100 is up-to-date, the improved version should be included as a dependency of the libraries OR. Is there a way to get there?

  Thanks for the compliment. We try very fort make the best product possible.

  Unfortunately, there is little we can do in this case. As Measurement Studio is running in the Visual Studio development environment, the application distributions are all managed by Visual Studio. I suggest you contact Microsoft technical support about this issue.

• LabView - DSC Runtime

  I'm working on an application to control a cable laying barge offshore. I am considering the use of the DSC Module, but I am concerned about two things:

  (1) is the component of the viewer historical data of the measurement and Automation Explorer included with the Runtime of DSC?  In other words, the distribution and using a licensed version of the Runtime DSC, users of my program will have access to this utility to browse and export data from the database of the Citadel?

  (2) the application that I'm getting is vital.  There will be at least a backup computer on the barge with a Runtime installed and licensed from DSC.  However, in an emergency, can the application distribution be loaded on another computer and works in "Évaluation" mode for a while so that the license for the DSC Runtime is set?

  Hey Joe,

  Looks like you got the right answer to your first question!  To answer your second question, unfortunately, the DSC Run-Time does not include an evaluation mode.  It must be allowed during installation for the feature.  If you have the DSC Run-Time on two PCs, you would need to have two licenses.  Please let me know if you have any other questions!

• Engine run LabVIEW 6.0 will not power BKPrecision supply control.

  I created a test in Labview 6.0 program to control a power BKPrecision and measurement computing DAQ in our test system. I am able to control the two instruments in my PC that has Labview charged thereon. I created an executable file of the application distribution tool. When I install the runtime and the executable file on a new PC (Labview not installed), I'm unable to control BKPrecision power. The power of BK is connected to the COM of the PC serial port.

  Do I need to install drivers that are not included in the executable version?

  I have to install VXIpnp (VISA interactive control)?

  If you use LabVIEW to communicate with any device then the driver should be included. Take a look at names of VI you used (VISA, series, etc.) and make sure that exact same driver that one version is installed on the computer on which the executable file runs. This means that if you have some NI-VISA 4.3 on your computer and you VISA controls used, then download this driver on the executable computer. You can find all the drivers at this site. • Error 'Signature failed, please try again. "

  I have an embarrassing and frustrating problem. My application is already go, I downloaded the .ipa file and tested. It works fine on the iPad. But when the time came to create the app distribution (.zip) file, I get an error 'signature impossible, please try again. '

  I tried, in vain, the following:

  -J' checked my certificates p12. They were valid. I even recreated both times, whenever it has failed.

  -J' I rebuilt my folio twice. I even tried to delete everything except an article then trying to export the application distribution

  -J' renamed the article names just of alphabets and numbers, no special characters

  Yet, despite all my efforts, I get this error. What Miss me?

  Thanks, Neil! You are a God. It turns out that I have an expired distribution p12 by my counterpart outside my company gave me. (The joys of sharing a company account).

• Distribution with Microsoft Application Virtualization (App - V)

  I am a member of staff at the campus of the University of Wisconsin Madison.  This summer we're finally at the migration using the distribution system network from Novell to Microsoft Application Virtualization (App - V, formerly Softgrid).  We combine that with a network for each student and FlexLM licenses share in order for students to migrate computer from one laboratory to the other without losing access to their records.

  When you try to install LabVIEW SignalExpress, all applications seem to work perfectly on the sequencing computer.  However, when we try to run the programs on a lab machine, SignalExpress does not launch.  It indicates a configuration error and that reinstalling the software may fix the problem.  We brought the SignalExpress question only (as we have done installation custom and made sure the ONLY selected product has been the SignalExpress and nothing else - no additional options, or any of the other available programs).

  I was wondering if anyone has any success in the SignalExpress with App - V distribution?

• Application of building without distribution polymorphic VIs

  Hi all

  We are currently deploy several LabVIEW applications that use polymorphic screws I have no problem, these applications (apart from a known issue with LV8.6.1 and bad dsoffset error - so we use LV2010 for this application) of the building.

  My problem with the deployment of these systems.  At present, the polymorhpic screws are copied to subdirectories and deployed in their current form.  In my opinion, it's messy.  It would be better if they were packed inside the executable.

  I'm sure that controls Application Builder allows this, but it is not clear how.  The manuals do not seem to tell me much more than online help, or the other.

  Any tips?

  Also, check the Advanced page and make sure the style 8.x checkbox is disabled, because this will be checked by default if you have imported the project of 8.x and will cause this type of distribution if your screws are in libraries and have the same file name as the other Be live. Read the help on this box, because it changes the internal structure of the EXE, which could have implications for you if you create paths dynamically.

  Looks like it's a "Font Folio Select" Adobe that contains fonts that we can use, but I can't find any information on where to put their hands on it.

  I spent hours hunting for fonts, we can legally use and read many licensing agreements and still have no idea what fonts are available for developers!

• What are the conditions to publish an application for private distribution, no sale.

  I need to create an application in English and 4 other languages for distribution to private individuals. What are the requirements to do this please? I currently have a just a simple edition license. Have I reason to understand that I need a subscription to clouds and an Apple Developer subscription also?

• The distribution of applications and data between the disk SSD and HDD

  I recently installed an SSD in my Macbook Pro (late 2011) instead of the DVD player. I want to install OS X on it, by replacing the current OS X on the original hard disk, I will continue to use for storing files. How should I allocate its use in car? OS X and applications on the data files on the hard disk of 500 GB and SSD?

  The first series of instructions will partition and format the newly installed SSD disk then install OS X on it. The second block will help you configure OS X on the SSD with your data on the HARD drive.

  Clean Install of El Capitan on a new disc

  1. Restart the computer. Immediately after the chime, press Command + Option + R until a globe appears.
  2. The Utility Menu appears in 5 to 20 minutes. Be patient.
  3. Select disk utility, then click on the continue button.
  4. When loading disk utility, select the drive (generally, the entry Out-bumpy) in the list aside.
  5. Click the Partition tab in the main window of disk utility. A panel will fall.
  6. Set the GUID partition scheme.
  7. Define the type of Format Mac OS extended (journaled).
  8. Click on the apply button, then click the fact when it is active.
  9. Quit disk utility and re-enter the Utility Menu.
  10. Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

  How to use an SSD with your HARD drive If you want to use an SSD as boot with your existing HARD disk drive, as the disk 'data', here is what you can do. After installing the SSD, you need to partition and format the SSD using disc utility disc. Then install OS X on the SSD. Once installed OSX boot from SSD. Startup disk preferences to set up the SSD as the boot volume. Open the preferences users and groups. Click the lock and authenticate you. Or CTRL - RIGHT click on your username account list in the sidebar and select Advanced Options in the context menu. You will see a field called "Home dir: ' on the far right, you will see an Edit button. Click on it. In the file dialog box, navigate to the location in house now located on the HARD disk (disk HARD/users/user_name /.) Select the folder, click the Open button. Restart the computer, as shown. When the computer starts, it will now use the home located on the HARD drive folder. Another more technical method involving the Terminal and the alias is discussed in depth here: using OS X with a SSD and HDD - Matt Gemmell configuration. It's my preferred approach because I can choose which records of the House, I want to on the HARD drive and I don't want to. For example, I like to keep Documents and library files on the SSD because I frequently access their content. Make sure that you keep the bootable system entirely on your HARD drive where you need it.

• Distribution of LVOOP/FPGA-based application on several possible projects?

  SITUATION: I develop a large enough project that relies heavily on LVOOP: I encapsulated material-interaction and functionality in the classes of LV that are loaded at run time. I have different types of plug-ins that are interacting with each other in the first level VI. These types of plug-ins are made in more generic classes defining their interfaces that are used by the top-level VI. Plug-ins actual instantiated at runtime classes are child-classes of matching the more generic classes (dynamic distribution).

  PROBLEM: The Labview project file is now big enough and takes forever to load/save. Also, I regularly get crashes or other very odd behavior of Labview himself. For example, Labview stalls when loading the project file, except when it is loaded through the list 'recentlly open project' in the start menu in Labview.

  POSSIBLE SOLUTION: I would like to make an individual Labview project file for each plugin real. This would have the additional advantage that they could be indivually developed by different developers without cause version conflicts.

  The PROBLEM WITH THIS SOLUTION: First tests show that it would work in effect plug-ins that do not target FPGA use. However, many of my plug-ins use the FPGA screws, which are still features some plug-ins (i.e., some plug-ins can use an FPGA VI, while others use it an another VI FPGA: a single FPGA VI will run both, however). For this reason, I would like to put these FPGA VIs in Labview for the plug-in project only, but not in the top-level Labview project. Because otherwise, I would have to update the project level higher every time that someone has written/edited a plug-in that uses an FPGA VI.

  Unfortunately, Labview generates an error when executing in the first level VI a method of a class of plug-in that uses an FPGA VI: "1498 error in Get LV class by default Value.vi. Possible reasons: LabVIEW: library has errors. Correct the errors before performing this operation. "Complete the call chain: get LV class default Value.vi top_level_vi.vi.

  In fact, it not even help to add to the project LV level the target FPGA including the FPGA VI which will be called: the error message remains the same.

  QUESTIONS RELATING TO THE:

  -Is it possible to distribute the LV classes on various projects with some of these projects with their own VI FPGA/resources dedicated.

  - Or is there a completely different solution to avoid a huge project file LV with problems?

  I discovered that you can access an FPGA VI without adding all resources FPGA (for example the FIFOs, i/o etc.) for the respective project by obtaining the FPGA VI reference via bitfile VI (unlike obtaining by the path of the VI). Exactly what I needed. I now have a project containing the FPGA resources and live FPGA. And in all the other projects that I can make use of the FPGA screws without adding resources FPGA, just by opening the bitfile FPGA VI related references.

  The idea of encapsulating the FPGA VI in own LabVIEW class is also very useful. In combination with obtaining the FPGA VI reference via the bitfile it allows me to charge flexibly different screw FPGA running (according to the settings in the configuration files), again without having to add any combination of FPGA resources to the project.
