In Chrome, it seems I had intended; namely, the messages loop custom WordPress on the first page and the top of each "message" has correctly sized thumbnails, floated to the left. In other words, it obeys the CSS rules that I set. (And copy CSS I have, for the record, W3C validated - it came back perfect.)

  In Firefox, however, both of these div tags ignore CSS rules, I put. No floats; the images are their original sizes and, on the same page, where the band positions is supposed to have a custom background, it is not found. It is not even obey simple rules, such as the assignment of a custom color for the links. When I right click to inspect the elements, the CSS rules are not found!

  (And copy CSS I have, for the record, W3C validated - it came back perfect.)

  The validator displays 30 markup errors, 50 CSS3 CSS3 231 warnings and errors. The experimental unified validator returns 1763 CSS3 warnings.

• WordPress seems to add CSS rules that are not there when I look!

  Can someone give me a clue as to how to get to these two #page rules?  It seems to me that WP is dynamically create.  In the property There is an image that comes from the theme and this overides my own image that I added by editing the style.css file.  Everything happens according to plan unitl that I fire to the top of the page in the browser.

  I you have a rough idea, how all this fits into the picture but please go easy on me if you know the answer!

  The theme you are using is probably import another CSS file (or the rules of writing in the head section) based on a conditional PHP. If you change the default theme, there is a PHP block in the file header.php of the theme that loads in a different #page according to the context (different background image) statement. If you do not want this behavior, you can delete the entire block php, otherwise, you can enter your own image paths in the code.

• How can I find and apply a new CSS rule

  I want to edit a css rule that currently leads the majority of my pages. The current rule is called ".twoColFixLTHdr #mainContent. The property I want to change to the new pages is the left margin of 250 pixels. I want to copy all the properties of the old rule and the new left margin change and apply this new rule CSS for only new pages.
  I was able to reproduce the old CSS rule and apply the change to the margin and rename the rule «.twoColFixLTHdr #mainContentArt» How can I find and apply this new rule to the new page?

  First of all, it is always better to provide a link to your page, so people can see your code and CSS. Screenshots are rarely useful.

  If you double-click on the name of the file in the window Style CSS (you provided a jpg of it), it will bring up the interface and you can make changes to them here. If you click once, then right-click and select go to the Code, it will open the file in DW.

  I want to emphasize that these are "classes", and to apply you must identify them as such, for example

  So if you want, you can add the new class and apply it to the pages you wanted.

  I very strongly suggest you play with the code view, it will put things in a new light that makes life easeir.

  I have an HTML page that refers to a very large CSS stylesheet.
  I would remove all of the CSS rules that are not applied to the page.
  
  Is it possible that I can use dreamweaver to locate these unnecessary styles?

  Now if I create another UL this new UL then takes its style from the CSS rule. How do I create another UL that are not automatically styled by my existiing rules? Do I have to create a unique ID for each UL?

  Rather than run the program from its current location, make sure that first save you it to your hard drive and then run Setup from there.

  I expanded the alta-v1 skin and put a CSS rule in there that would apply to a background image of an element. The CSS rule is as follows:

  When I run the page and display the CSS rule in Firebug, this is what happens in:

  The second part of the question is easy to answer: the string you see is defined in the viewcontroller project root context parameter. Set this parameter to something that you like and start the application again. You should see the new value of the parameter.

• Whence my bar menus css rules go?

  I'm looking to adjust the widths of my menu bar buttons in order to take into account a new button, so I clicked on "Sections" to access the .css rules, but nothing is displayed and in fact a text bar is coming who says < "Sections" is not on the local disk.  Download > with 'Get' being a link.  I clicked it and it will quickly connect to my remote server, then a button comes up and says "get operation failed because SpryMenuBarHorizontal.cs does not exist on the remote site."

  Sorry, I know this is a really basic question, but where is it?  I did not move one of these files around, as far as I know and the menu bar works very well.

  I designed this site on a PC computer. Each page has a different Background Image CSS rule. The only rule I put is the image and the 'no - repeat'. I did put the terms of its offering.
  
  Each of these images had an effect feather applied in Illustrator so that the image would have melted in the background black. This works fine on Windows machines in IE and Firefox.
  
  However, on Macs, the left side of the image is cut off. Who wants to say, it seems if the feathered edge was cut and the picture ends abruptly.
  
  Is there a way to fix this?

I think the Mac browswers to move the image to the top-left of the table of "Grandpa" in the set, in which the editable region is nested, cut this part of the image that appears in the region uneditable 'Grandpa' table and showing the part of it that appears in the editable nested table. • How can I load different CSS rules according to the browser?

  Basically I have background images set in place and when the page is scrolled on a desktop computer, the images are locked in place that their holders scroll upward and down, so I have a very simple parallax effect going on. Problem is that when I view on mobile devices and especially Apple iPhone, iPad, or iPod, the background is fixed yet, but it's huge!

  To after my research, background-attachment: fixed rule that is what creates the effect of simple Parallax seems to destroy the background-size rule: cover, simple force the image to view full size.

  So what I think is, to see what browser uses the user and through PHP or Javascript have a separate css file load with the rule background-attachment: fixed if the user is on a laptop Desk/computer or hide if they are on an apple device. I can't understand how do however. Is this possible?

  I don't want to use media queries as they are about to be unusable for this instance based on the screen size of a part of the device that are now producing people like Apple.

  I just your thoughts and or possible examples that you may have encountered.

• Failed to set the new CSS rule for the background image

  Maybe I've finally lost my mind... I myself find it impossible to add a background image to the header of my project portion.  I select the "header" in the property Panel section, click on "add a new CSS rule.  Curiously, DW does not in the name of the selector for me, which is probably an indication that something is wrong, but I don't know what.  I went through the steps of filling in the name of the switch by hand, choose the .jpg file and setting is like a background image, but he never takes.

  There has got to be something simple that experienced users of DW can explain.  Go ahead, experts, you out there?

  When things go south, it is almost always caused by a mistake of small coding somewhere.

  Unbalanced tags are the usual suspects.

  Run validation and fix the errors reported.

  I see the CSS in DW CC Panel is no longer in existence. Does this mean that the Panel of definitions of CSS rule is no longer appears when you click on a CSS rule like in older versions of DW?

  The CSS rule definition panel is always available in Dreamweaver CC 2015.1.

  Click the CSS button in the property inspector and click the button change the rule.

  

  It's still there, but I'd bet not on what it will be available in the next major version of CC of Dreamweaver. When the Panel is hidden, it is usually a sign that they are gradually.
