  If you want all occurrences of the xref element to use the same format, you can specify the format of an InitialObjectFormat rule in ESD or use a rule r/w in the form:

  element 'figref.

  If you want to use different formats and have a particular element to specify that one, you can set an attribute whose value is the name of format with a rule like:

  As stated in the MoS post link in the RMAN forum, you can do RMAN restores between Windows and AIX because they aren't the same endian. You will need to do a logical migration using exp, goldengate, flow, etc

  I have a PC at the moment, but in a few months, I will switch to a Macbook for school.   CC subscription supports have functional facilities on two machines and two machines can be on different platforms.  If necessary, you can connect to a facility to activate another (for example, a third machine you need to use temporarily).

  I understand that if we are willing to carry each tablespace from Source to target individually, may then be able to replicate a transportable database. Fact the transportable tablespace have not all restrictions has obtained from the database of transport compared to the platform and Endian? Please specify.

  Also is there a matrix of support for thr transportable database and tablespaces which we could see?

  Sarat,

  The same restriction that is there for the transport of the whole base is quite real for the transportable tablespace as well if you go to the cross-platform. Endian must match across platforms that only you can do otherwise, as the database feature, you must convert the source file to the target-endian.

• Model cross-platform - differences between versions

  I created a template in Dreamweaver 8 on a Mac and sent to a programmer using Dreamweaver MX on WIndows and formatting for him is messed up. Divs are not lining up where I put them. He sent a page of his repertoire (which is mine) and of the model in DW MX and the divs are irrelevant.
  
  This question is based on the cross-platform operating system, DW 8 MX and differences in the way in which these versions deal with MX or some other problem?

  It was certainly MX. The other programmer bought CS3 and CSS issues went away. And now he is much happier with coding. Thanks for your help.

• Definitions of CSS rule Panel

  I see the CSS in DW CC Panel is no longer in existence. Does this mean that the Panel of definitions of CSS rule is no longer appears when you click on a CSS rule like in older versions of DW?

  The CSS rule definition panel is always available in Dreamweaver CC 2015.1.

  Click the CSS button in the property inspector and click the button change the rule.

  

  It's still there, but I'd bet not on what it will be available in the next major version of CC of Dreamweaver. When the Panel is hidden, it is usually a sign that they are gradually.

• Cross-platform publishing

  Hi all:
  I want to create a simple project. its a page that has a button that opens a PDF file, and I want it to be cross-platform. I got the jargon to work no matter what platform it's in. I have my Xtras folder next to my project. I have a folder of resources of the Cross platform, with a Macintosh folder it contains and an Xtras folder it contains. When I publish my movie, he tells me that he does not find "budapi.x32. I placed budapi.x32 in the folder named Xtras next to my film and I've also embedded the xtra via Edit > Film > xtra method. I have my xtrainfo.txt file but I don't know where to place them. I tried publishing with the .txt in different places, but I still get the error.

  I doubt very that strongly that it's your Mac, but that is possible. Zip up
  your Mac projector and send it to me. I'm going to test and see if it is the
  projector at fault (which is I guess) or if it's your Mac.

• help the CSS rule

  I am new to Dreamweaver CS4. I created a css and try to apply a rule to selected text. When I text highlight and go to the 'target rule' and highlight the rule I want, do not. It goes back automatically to < new css rule >. Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong? Thank you.

• Problem of browser compatibility with CSS in DW opacity

  Hello... I am very new to Dreamweaver, (fresh outta several years of photoshop) try to learn it and have very little experience with HTML/CSS coding. I'm doing a translucent black rectangle (drawn using CSS instead of using an image of a black rectangle) which is over a plaid background (background image of the tag body with background repeat.)

  In order to get this black box as transparent semi, I searched the web and found that I needed to use the Opacity property in the CSS (makes sense to me). So I hand coded because Dreamweaver didn't "opacity" as one options in the small drop down menu deal. After I did it, Dreamweaver has me in the "Browser compatibility" Panel that the 'Opacity' property was incompatible with virtually all browsers, including Firefox, Safari and Opera (mac guy). Not only that, but my black box was not translucent in the 'Design' of the preview window thing.

  Just for fun, I decided to open the page in Firefox - AND IT WORKED. He showed my black rectangle like I wanted, stretched and the ADJUSTMENT of the opacity that I wanted. I opened it in Opera and Safari, which also displays my page as I wanted.

  My questions are the following:

  1 - Why is Dreamweaver saying this opacity setting will not work with these browsers when it actually does?

  2-Why don't show up in the 'Design' preview opacity setting window but don't place in real browsers?

  3 - Why is opacity not one of the features that descends when coding (like width, height, margin etc..)

  In any way, please don't hate not me I'm so freakin new and I tried to search this forum and on the internet for the answer to my question and found nothing. My code is below:

  There are dozens of CSS attributes that can (and should) be handwritten. Problem with them is that, as shadows of text, they do not appear in all browsers. I have 9 different browsers installed and test pages in EACH of them before I "Finish" site or a page of a model construction.

  I try to compile for Firefox, personal preference, but I do things that work with IE because he still holds the market share (46% to 42% FF IE), and I'll only with designs that work in IE, FF, NS, Opera, Safari and Chrome.

  As for your questions.

  1. the verification of compatibility is probably common at the time of construction. I do not know if this item updates such as browsers, but I tend to think that it isn't. I use CS4 and there have not been updated for it in almost a year. Firefox has released 4.0, published 11 Opera and Safari 5 has released since then. The update would have found and downloaded something if it were available.

  2. I could only guess. Text shadows do not appear in Design view (or IE) but they do in the browser preview. It's just a quirk of the user interface, which means 'trial and error' is the only way to get what you want.

  3. Quick Access - selects which are located in the drop-down menus DW or popouts is the most common CSS designs and have been proven to work with all browsers at the time of your particular of DW build.

  Please give me a hand, when I check the browser compatibility in my Microsoft4 site that I am building in cs4 can. The only error I get is a reference to line 8... and the link to my stylesheet is highlighted? as an error? I don't know why? The site looks fine when you preview in safari and firefox, but not ie...

  I am a multimedia application with LV2010 and I am trying to do cross-platform (win and mac os x).

  The I need the feature requires the use of system libraries, I have access to enough similar functions in the two operating systems

  (winmm.dll in windows, coreMidi.framework in mac OS X)

  With the exception of the current system of appeals on the screws will be identical.

  You want to encapsulate the platform-specific code in a conditional structure disable with a condition for each supported platform.  The symbol of the OS is already defined; see Help for the creation of disable Conditional Structures, which lists the predefined symbols and values.
