Application of flow rate Maximum of IPSec

Hi all

I would like to know what would happen to traffic exceeding maximum encrypted traffic supported?

With the current ASR1001 module of ESP 2.5 G, Cisco supports up to 1 Gbps of traffic encrypted IPSec.

-My question is what happens to the excess traffic (over 1 Gbit/s) which must be encrypted, will be the router down the excess traffic or pass it through as plain text?

-If he will send him in clear text, it is a way that is, see the command that I can use to view/check if there are packages that were not encrypted?

I'd also appreciate links/URLs that can provide such information.

Thanks and greetings

Mpho

What we quote as flow rate max is not a limitation of the software (with a few notable exceptions of license on the G2 of SRI and CSR).

What you'll find in general, is that the packages will be discontinued due to taildrop in multiple queues (depending on the platform, it must be monitored in different ways).

VPN is based on strategies or route, routing, or policy does not change due to the load of the device/link (not directly anyway, it could be argued that just PFR which would accomplish).

  • rate maximum simultaneous vSphere 5.5

    All,

I'm looking for maximum simultaneous of cloning for vsphere 5.5.  I can't find in the pdf file rate maximum config.  Something similar to this topic:

Re: number of concurrent tasks clone

But for vsphere 4.x... current documentation does not say what is the limit, but in my tests, it seems that 8 is always maximum.

PS - Check out this documentation-> vSphere 5.5 Documentation Center

Near the bottom, it says that the "other provisioning operations such as cloning" are limited to 8 for each host.

  • Application of flow through Webgate and web application server

    I have a scenarios,

There are two webgates on both web servers configured as a reverse proxy to an application. The doors of two web use external load balancer 1 (material). Two web portals are registered on two servers OAM (load balancing - logical web application server). The application is protected by OAM, and is set to launch a custom login page. The application web servers also use external load balancer 2.

First, when the user tries to access the URL of the application, the flow would be:

LoadBalancer1 - Web server with OAM WebGate - WebServer with WebGate (after successful authentication) - LoadBalancer2 (lettering) - server of web App - homepage

Now, what happens if the user goes to another link within the app? The user will be routed to the loadbalancer 2 to the Web server with load balancer WebGate GOLD 2 to 1 load balancer, then to the Web server with WebGate. Please note that the web server with WebGate is configured as reverse proxy for the application. Sorry if I'm not able to articulate the situation clearly.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Allows to call the application URL app.mydomain.com. With the components you mentioned above, generally that would make a DNS change to point app.mydomain.com to 'loadbalancer1 '.

Say so the user has already been authenticated and authorized and on the page of the application (app.mydomain.com/home.jsp). OAM is usually configured to protect web pages within an application. When the user clicks on 'Préférences' inside of home.jsp which is "app.mydomain.com/preferences.jsp", control would again go to loadbalancer1-> of the webgates.

    Hope that answers your question.

  • Minimum flow rate: what is the best?

    Hello

I have a scenario where the minimum 802. 11b / g data rate has been set at 1 MB/s required on WISN model stored on WCS.

We believe that it is allowing customers to try to connect to the network wirelessly with a very tenuous link, resulting in a performance very poor.

We also believe that this poor performance will affect the experience for all users of the wireless access point which are close enough to talk to a more reasonable speed wireless.

Are we correct in this thinking?

If we change the mandatory connection to 5.5 Mbps speed, what are the effects, if he go there, we see that we have problems we create a few holes in coverage, and if we did, they would be huge?

Is there a way to model?

If we do, the increase in the performance of the network for the many outweigh the disadvantages of a hole of covergae?

Thanks for any help/comments, I'm putting a folder to get the data back to 5.5 Mbps throughput at least but am Zenith mgmt resistance.

    Thank you

    Bryn

    Bryn,

There are a number of factors that can impact/influence the data rates, you select; as AP density, client devices and protocols supported. It is also important to understand the difference between agent and supported when you configure data rates.

Usually it's ok for 5.5 Mbps required, which means you need to get a 5.5 Mbps or greater connection to associate the once associated access point you can resign at 1 Mbps or 2 Mbps if they are configured as supported.

Personally without knowing how your design looks in terms of density of access points wireless and with knowing what types of clients your race: laptops, PDAs and phones VOIP, vocera badges. I had set as mandatory 5.5 Mbps and put the rest to support and test from there, don't forget the cover holes are data rates more than they are signal levels. The thing to remember with coverage holes is that your wireless network must be a 2 ways communication between the client and the access point, many facilities you may encouter scenarios where the machine client (ie: phone or laptop) can hear the AP very well but the AP never hears the client machine, this translates the cover holes and huge performance problems.  This happens because the majority of client devices are limited to the maximum transmit power of 25 to 30 mw, while the AP year is capable of 100mw (802 11b), 30mw (802.11 g), 40 MW (802 11A).

As you progress through this question, it is important to take into account not only the data rates, but the overall design and make sure that your do not meet a real cover in question.

    Hope this helps

  • get the IOPS / s and flow rate for each card of vmhba

Hi, I have seen a few difficulties for the IOPS / s and flow stat for esxi for each vmhba card get the average, max, min

I can get some network like net.usage.average, net.received.average and net.transmitted.average parameters as the metric is consolidated for all the network card.

Here is the part of the classic script I use

    $metrics = "net.received.average", "net.transmitted.average".

    Get-Stat - entity $esx - start $start - finishing $stop - MaxSamples 10000 - Intervalmin 30 - stat $metrics |

    Group-object - property {$_.} @entity.name} | %{

    $esxname = $_. Group [0]. @entity.name

    $hard = (get-VMhost-name $esxname) .extensiondata. Summary.Hardware

    $netreceived = $_. Group | where {$_.} MetricId - eq "net.received.average" - and $_. {Instance - eq ""} | Measure-object-property value - average - Maximum - Minimum

    $nettransmit = $_. Group | where {$_.} MetricId - eq "net.transmitted.average" - and $_. {Instance - eq ""} | Measure-object-property value - average - Maximum - Minimum

and so now, but on the storage card, consolidated metrics do not exist...

    Thank you very much!

    Try something like this

    $esx = Get-VMHost MyEsx$stat = "storageAdapter.numberReadAveraged.average","storageAdapter.numberWriteAveraged.average"$start = (Get-Date).AddMinutes(-5)

    Get-Stat -Entity $esx -Stat $stat -Start $start |Group-Object -Property Instance,Timestamp | %{$_ |Select @{N="Timestamp";E={$_.Values[1]}},@{N="Instance";E={$_.Values[0]}},@{N="Read IOPS";E={$_.Group | where {$_.MetricId -eq "storageAdapter.numberReadAveraged.average"} | %{$_.Value/$_.IntervalSecs}}},@{N="Write IOPS";E={$_.Group | where {$_.MetricId -eq "storageAdapter.numberWriteAveraged.average"} | %{$_.Value/$_.IntervalSecs}}}}

It uses more or less the same concept that I used in my post to get the OPS are / s maximum .

  • Application Navigation flow

    Hello

I am testing Flex and want to know if I can use Flex in a real application. In terms of components (or orders), I think it's almost what I need. I tested WebServices and DataBinddings, and so far, it is quite OK.

Now I'm looking for how navigate between mxml applications and open the application. We will explain better.

Let's say I have 200 requests for mxml, and each of them implements a part of the total demand. As a search or a form. Now, I want to control the flow of requests and show the user the right to 'part '. So I need to go from A.mxml to B.mxml and so on.

I don't want to put all the "parts" of the request in a .mxml and show and hide the stack but load the rooms on request.

    Is this possible?

    thanx

Yes, you must use the modules in this case. Regardless, they are loaded and unloaded. There's more info here:

  • Refresh screen 7 blocked to 53Hz flow rate

My 7 stream is currently set to refresh to 53Hz. After asking around, others say that it is supposed to update the usual 60 Hz as do most of the screens. What's not here? My defective tablet is?

Ok. I discovered that those who had screens with 60 Hz refresh rate using an update of the older bios. The features that come with new revisions of the bios, or users who updated their bios will change their 53Hz screen refresh rate. Given that it is expected and it's a software update, rather than a part of different material with different specifications, I won't pursue this. However, I hope that HP would be conditioned at least one newspaper of the BIOS changes if they wish to publish updates to the bios, so that we, the users will not get at least this sort of misunderstanding again.

  • Transfer rate maximum by using IEEE 1394

    Hello

I use an IEEE 1394 camera and I want to know how to be able to access the maximum transfer speed. Currently in the measurement and automation program I get access only to 100 Mbps, even though I know that the camera can do 800 Mbps. The initial pilot that I installed with the software was not compatible with Labview and so I had to downgrade the software a bit to be able to control the camera using Labview.

Is there a difficulty in Labview or if they solved this problem in future versions of the software IMAQdx? I am running IMAQdx version 3.7.

    Thanking you,

    Adnan Sharief

Are you by chance using XP (SP2 or SP3) or Vista?  If so, Microsoft has messed up their 1394b driver who fell from S800 to S100 speed, if the options are:

    upgrading to Win7

downgrading the driver to the SP1 version

use a driver of substitution that replaces the Microsoft driver (if your camera brand has access to a)

    Kind regards

  • Dynamic brush: flow rate

I try to draw with a swoosh 'stars' and may vary the size, roundness, jitter etc...

But... How can I reduce the water flow? I am too much stars painted on the canvas.

I can put Scatter up to 1, but it's always 5 x as much painted stars than I like. The field will be no lower than 1...

    Help please, thank you.

I can't find why you don't have space available with this brush. The only setting that I don't have is hardness.

    What setting you changed standard?

Have you tried to reset the tool by right-clicking on the icon of brush on the left side of the options bar.

  • What is the maximum flow of PERC 5/E + MD1000? Confused in the calculations.

Hello, I have read many articles on PERC 5/E and after the last section of the Dell Web site, I'm totally confused. I don't have much experience with these things.

    http://www.Dell.com/downloads/global/power/ps3q07-20070368-Olivarez-OE.PDF

My question is: if I Garland 3 x MD1000 and hang it in a port, which is the maximum flow? How can I type 1 Gbps? Is maximum 300MBps by port (wide port?) or PERC 5/E? How would I go over this?

(the link provided in the upper part) "The PERC 5 is connected to the server through a x 8 slot PCI Express nominal of 2 Gbps (although some systems can use a x 4 PCI Express slot, rated at 1 Gbit/s). The PERC 5 has two wide ports of SAS to connect the controller to expanders. Each wide port is a combination of four ports SAS estimated at 300 MB/s each, providing a flow of 1 200 MB/s per total Expander or 2 400 MB/sec. »

I understand more channels, but what exactly do mean by "four SAS ports?

They mean that each physical port is somehow 4-port SAS? So there x 4 double SAS? Then, each port has a flow rate of 1.2GBps? I understand it correctly?

Please someone explain simply. Thanks in advance!

    Hello

    ZippoWindproof
My question is: if I Garland 3 x MD1000 and hang it in a port, which is the maximum flow? How can I type 1 Gbps? Is maximum 300MBps by port (wide port?) or PERC 5/E? How would I go over this?

It would be 1.2 GB/s. 5th PERC has two connectors for two different channels. Each of these connectors consists of 4x300MB/s ports, so each channel is capable of 1.2 GB/s. It's theoretical. Will not actually be able to reach this number as there is overhead to consider. The document States 80% is about the max possible, so that you to put approximately 960 MB/s.

    ZippoWindproof
I understand more channels, but what exactly do mean by "four SAS ports?

This is the logical ports. This connector is used to a channel. The channel consists of 4 logical ports.

    ZippoWindproof
They mean that each physical port is somehow 4-port SAS? So there x 4 double SAS? Then, each port has a flow rate of 1.2GBps? I understand it correctly?

Yes, that is essentially what it means.

  • Target and maximum bit rate...

Not finding much info on target and Maximum bitrate that is under video settings during export > Media.

At the highest quality, my camcorder records to about 24 Mbps.

I export to Youtube. I know that all of the settings to use.

I wonder if I should choose the bitrate at which it was recorded, for my target and maximum.

I am aware that higher the value, the larger the file is large.

    What are your thoughts?

On another note. My HD camcorder JVC GZ-HM300, manual stipulates that all class 4 or higher SDHC card will work.

I see some of the higher ranked cards higher bit rate transfer.

Do I need to get at least a transfer rate of 24 Mbit/sec SDHC to get all the benefits of the record of 24 Mbps bit depth.

Because I have got a standard 16GB class 4 Kodak SDHC for $20 Meijer's, here in Michigan (Meijer is pretty much just like Wal-Mart)

    http://www.Meijer.com/s/Kodak-16GB-class-2-SDHC-memory-card/_/R-187776

Said description class 2, but he of the symbol of class 4 and works with my camcorder.

    What are your thoughts?

A larger file or a less compressed file or a file with high throughput (those that are functionally equivalent) does not necessarily mean a more beautiful once downloaded video. In practice, a video that has the best eyesight will be better once YouTube through the ringer. My additions in 1080 p YouTube typically hover in the range of 10-12 Mbps, but they tend to be low movement videos, so they provide a compression well. If you have an animated video, it may be necessary to crank the bitrate up to what you keep most or at least more of the fidelity of the image. However, you will get to a point where you will just make an unnecessarily large file, with no perceptible difference as soon as YouTube do its dance on your video. I would guess that 25Mbps is unnecessarily high; the recommendation to use 15Mbps or thereabouts is probably sufficient. Test is the only way to know, as there are has no strict rules when it comes to video coding - and YouTube accepts all the accepted general practice and pouring them on their head.

Re: target and the maximum flow: these come into play when using coders who use encoding variable bit rate (VBR). Rate target - as its name suggests - is the rate you want the encoder to pull to and use as an average relative. Flow binary maximum - no points for guessing - is the largest flow you'll let the encoder use in segments (usually in divisions called GOP or groups of images) where there is movement or a visual complexity (very detailed models, or fog, for example). If the encoder were to run full tilt boogie, the maximum bit rate would determine the size of the file; It is roughly equivalent to the use of the CBR or constant bit rate encoding. However, because you have selected a target bit rate (in general, a minimum below the maximum bit rate), the encoder will try to maintain this bitrate or lower throughout the video. For example, my 1080 h.264 encode for YouTube usually have a maximum rate of 15Mbps all about, but I put the target at 10 Mbps or less. Using 2-pass VBR, and given the nature of the videos I encode more often, my files usually average around 6 Mbps. That's what I have to deal with each separate code as its own entity - you can apply some principles, but in practice, anything goes.

These Wikipedia articles could offer interesting ideas in different encoding, at least from a perspective of bitrate methods:

    Variable flow

    Constant flow

    Average throughput

PS: No WAY is Meijer as Wal - Mart The Mitt, reprazent!

  • What is the maximum value supported SD card speed, class

    Hello

I would like to know what the maximum taken in charge SD card support is class for a slot for SD cRIO-9031.

I need to enter a SDHC card to be purchased for use in this system. I need "Industrial" SD cards and the speed indication changes the price considerably. (Class 4 vs. Class10 UHS-1 the two 8 GB, the latter is 4 x times the price of the first appr.) EUR200)

Please provide me with the material specifications of the cRIO-9031 SD card slot (manual specification of '376261-02' States: ' removable SD (user-provided) up to 32 GB ")

    Hi André,.

CompactRIO-9031 supports the SD write speed of up to 10 MB/s and supports the standard SDHC cards. As a result, SDHC Class 10 cards speed must be supported. Please see page 4 of the manual from the link below:

    http://www.NI.com/PDF/manuals/376261a_02.PDF

However, there are many factors that can influence the observed flow rate as the compressibility of the data, write speed loop, write size etc. Please be aware of these factors when programming.
