  • Yoga 900 - no application to search for drivers

    Hello

I would like to have an application control for (updated) drivers for me.

With the 900 Yoga I think it's pretty stupid that companion of Lenovo - who claims to do - cannot find anything ever... even when I ran before installing all the drivers - or after the installation of all the drivers and find a new on the web site.

It works quite simply not - says "There are no applicable updates for your system."

I tried to use the old application of Lenovo System Update I had on my Y50 - only to get a different message: "there are no applicable package found for your system.

It is irritating because right now I have 3 no updated drivers - I know.

Are these unnecessary tools for you also?

    Thank you

There has been some problems with the accession of OEM (Asus, Acer, Dell, HP, etc.). We can be happy that Lenovohas been one of the first to react by taking seriously issues and intend to make changes.

I don't think that the 900 Yoga is involved, but it might be a good idea to manually update in the case where as a precution there have been halted on all software programs while it is being researched.

    [Edited to make the correction].

  • Help | Lenovo Y50

Hello, today I have upgraded to windows 10. I made a clear installation and when it's over, I have installed and updated all the drivers to the most recent (some on the site, some IObit booster driver and windows update) but I noticed that I have no applications of lenovo (power management and etc...) and I need the power supply for the battery management escape option that would let me not damage my battery when let it stay charged because im using lenovo Y50 load it allows me to use 100% of the capacity of the GPU. How can I get the software? because I found a driver, but he gave me a weird version of it. I also have other applications of lenovo as parameters of lenovo or dolby theather.

Good day and welcome to the community.

In case you do not have the link, the first place you should check for drivers is your support of model site:

  • Application of security for k920

Hi.I have k920 Lenovo with android 5.0.2, but after the update of lolipop, I can't install security since the game of google app. There is an error code when I try to install it. Is there anyone with this problem?

Strangely, there is no security application of Lenovo Group on my goolge game. I wish there was. In General, the Lenovo security application only worked in Android KitKat, but it was preinstalled on all devices. In the Android safety app is no longer available. It was a great app, if there was a way to install it, I would be really happy.

  • Updates to Lenovo appshop only with the option «install non-market apps»

When passing a request for update for the Lenovo appshop and start the update, I get the message, that appshop SW cannot be updaten with the option "install non-market apps" set. Is this a normal behavior?

A recent OTA update allows you to install applications of Lenovo App Shop without scoring the "Unknown Sources" option in the Applications tab (in the settings menu).

As a solution, I would say you allowing the installation of applications not merchants temporarily (by checking the settings-> Applications-> unknown Sources). However, my advice would be to install the missing updates. Each update has many improvements and worths install.

    Hello

    You use a Lenovo computer?

updatemonitor.exe is an application of Lenovo.

I suggest that get you in touch with the manufacturer for a better support.

  • Important notice - please put Lenovo Solution Center update

Lenovo has released a new version of the application (LSC) Lenovo Solution Center v2.4.003 which addresses a number of potential problems and bug fixes, some of which could adversely affect the performance of your system.

(Newer versions can be released since - just follow the link to get the latest version.)  The point of this pinned post is to alert users that you can be stuck on a version that would not automatically update correctly, and we wanted to communicate that number and in the chronology of the version where it is fixed)

Many of these issues have been discussed elsewhere in this forum.  It is highly recommended for all users upgrade to this new version as soon as possible.

Some of the problems that it solves understands that:

    • Excessive event log records
    • LSC_CLI.exe crashes
    • Excessive User Account Control (UAC) invites on limited user accounts
    • Many other bug fixes have been implemented

Most versions of LSC will prompt to update themselves when newer versions are detected.  There was a bug in the version 2.2 which affected the ability of automatic update - it would download and appear to be updated, but could not actually complete the update.  This problem has been corrected in version 2.3 or later, but the customers who have version 2.2 should download and update to fix this problem manually.  In order to be proactive, Lenovo adding the last versions system update catalogs to provide another automated way to update the clients that can still be on version 2.2, but some customers cannot make use of updated system, or may have chosen to not install the LSC if offered updated package.

Visit LSC on our support site to download the version for your OS or if you have already installed LSC and icon appears in your toolbar, please launch and allow it to check the updates.

If you go to the link provided by brand, you will always have the last ICL:

""Go to the LSC on our support site to download the version for your OS or if you have already installed LSC and the icon appears in your toolbar, please launch and allow it to check the updates. ""

    I hope this helps!

  • E545 brightness is not setting

When I opened my laptop E545 after sleeping, I find that the brightness shortcut keys do not work (like other keys, volume, work). Only after the deactivation and reactivation of my graphic card or by restarting the computer entirely, brightness shortcut keys work again. I had a similar problem on an another ThinkPad Edge, E530). That was really annoys me since I computers! I see that there is an update of the BIOS but not sure it will solve my problem (or if it could create other problems worse than uptight brightness). Someone at - he experienced this problem or get it resolved?

    Hi Maisymouser,

    Welcome to Lenovo Community!

According to the request, we understand that you have a problem with the brightness of the display on your ThinkPad E545.

Have you checked the graphics driver update & application of Lenovo power manager?

You can also use the ThinkVantage System Update utility to check the latest drivers and application of your system.

    I hope this helps.

  • eReader

Someone had a bit of luck with the eReader program provided with this device? I am trying to add some eBooks that I have which are not limited by the license and I am struggling to find what format recognizes this app eReader/eBook reader. Thinking I would find a common format to say, I found a converter and such, I tried the following formats; ePub, bed, lrf, mobi, fb2, PDB, nothing helps. I'm only able to add eBooks purchased in the shop Lenovo?

Ideally, I would like to use the program that comes with the Tablet, rather than getting another app, but if this is the case I guess I'll make the change and uninstall it.

If anyone has had success adding books not purchased the Lenovo store on this app, so I'd like to hear from you, otherwise anyone came across all the decent eBook reader apps that support this feature for Honeycomb? Really want to have to buy my books electronic a dozen times on platforms half a dozen. Should be completely gone with the Kindle store.

In fact, I don't even know if it is an application of Lenovo. What is an app of honeycomb? If this is the case, I have not really found any info on how to add books to this program with my research.

    Hello

I just copied and pasted the files in the folder of ebooks and have been on the Board of ereader to read.

  • Activate the battery Conservation Mode in Windows 10

Lenovo ThinkPad E540 laptop running Windows 10

When I got this machine, he was running Windows 7. With the help of Lenovo Power Manager, I was able to put the battery to load only when it fell below 40% and charge to a maximum of 80%. This configuration is designed to extend the useful life of the battery. My laptop is plugged in most of the time. I only use the battery for short periods.

When I put the battery always charged as he did in Windows 7 (from 40 to 80%), but I could not find a setting to fix this to upgrade to Windows 10. At some point, I installed a critical update of Lenovo. I think it was an update of the firmware. Since then, the charges of the battery to 100% every time I plug the. I want to charge the battery the way I used to. I saw this parameter called Mode of Conservation in online discussions.

This message indicates that it is possible to access the Conservation Mode in 10 Windows through the application of Lenovo settings:

    http://www.improdia.com/tech-tips/Lenovo-battery-conservation-Windows-10/

I followed the instructions in the post above, but my Lenovo settings app does not have a power for the Conservation Mode setting. I have the status of power, always on USB, rest of battery meter, but no Conservation Mode.

Does anyone know how to access the Conservation Mode in Windows 10? Or does anyone know how to get the same functionality via another way? Thanks in advance for your help.

As far as I know, this is not possible in Windows 10. This feature has been removed. I'm sorry.
