Hi all

I need an urgent request for the below:

Thanks in advance

Try this,

var baseline = app.selection[0].baseline;
var obj = app.selection[0].createOutlines();
var gb = obj[0].geometricBounds;
app.documents[0].undo();
var baselineValue = gb[2] - baseline;
app.selection[0].baselineShift = baselineValue;

  • Photoshop CS5 - changes in "vertical offset.

    When old Photoshop CS2 projects opening in Photoshop CS5, everything appears as before.  But for about 75% of the text, the "Vertical offset" field now has a nonzero value.  It seems that I have to put my 'baseline-shift' back text assigned to zero then reposition the text.  I would prefer just the "vertical offset" to be reset, because I know that I have not changed this value.

    Is it possible that the 'baseline-shift' value is something other than zero for some fonts and I just never noticed that the value is not null before?  Or is it a question of opening a project from Photoshop CS2 in CS5?

    The vertical offset and other CHARACTER settings are 'sticky', which means that if you have never changed them over there, they will remain unless you reset them.  They are not changed, as far as I can see, for any choice of fonts.

    If one nonzero value is set, it will be adjusted by the ppi of the document so that the text is visually shifted the appropriate amount.

    Choose the command window - character in the menu to show all settings in the CHARACTER palette. Use the menu below to reset the settings of.

    Assuming that your original string is R'cu, R , you first apply baseline shift to cu, R (or R'), then place the cursor between ' and c and apply an appropriate kerning (negative) value.

  • How can I text perfectly vertical center with different font sizes

    Hello

    I have a frame:

    http://www.Flickr.com/photos/82397830@n03/7960870684/

    I tried a vertical centering by defining block of text Options > vertical Justification > Align: Center, but my text is not always get centered vertically. When I put in English words instead of Hebrew ones Gets the text vertical centered.

    There is a sort of invisible box around characters in a font. The measures of the frame of the lower part of the characters below the baseline (such as p or j) to as high as high as the tops of the Capitol letters for diacritical marks such as umlauts and accents. Given that most of the characters are not completely going toward the highest handle or down to the lowest decender, it may seem that the text is not centered between the two vertical points.

    If you need the text to be centered exactly, you can cheat it by applying the vertical offset, but keep in mind that if you change the text, you may need to adjust the amount of vertical offset again. You can use the vertical offset for the text itself, or change text frame options and change the Baseline Options. Also, in your screenshot, I see you have rounded edges on your block of text. The vertical justification works on rectangular text blocks, it's why that doesn't work.

    You can create a character style to apply to the ball which adds the vertical offset, or since you say that it is a custom chip, you can redo the ball and push it higher compared to the line when you do (which is a more universal solution).

  • Default anchor point has changed to the lower left corner of the layer?

    Whenever I have add a new text layer, the anchor point is automatically set on the lower left corner of the layer, and I find it very annoying to have to focus each time, and that it possibly is not perfectly in the center of the text, moreover, whenever I create a form with SHIFT-command that it revolves around its own anchor while he used to focus around the anchor in the Middle of the composition. I don't know what I did but it happened all of a sudden, and I don't know how to change it back .

    Thank you

    Focus you the text layer by resetting the position of the text layer in the primary processing Panel. Text animations give you a secondary position and anchor point controls. The text layer must have a position of half the width of the model and half the height of the model.

    Once you are there you center text horizontally around the anchor using the paragraph Panel. Make sure that you have first line or paragraph compensation applied.

    The last step is to visually Center the text vertically by adjusting the vertical offset in the character Panel. The value of the offset depends on the size of the font, the characters you use, font style and what your said eye is centered. Most of the time, you want a little more space at the bottom of the frame as above because we are used to see things sitting on a foundation. It's the same principle while watching a photo for framing.

    These are the same exact steps for the type definition in any application which allows you to adjust the formatting of the type. Even in MS Word, Illustrator, Photoshop, even the same using CSS rules when creating a web page.

  • spark dropdownlist pulldown badly positioned inside swfloader

    Today, I encountered this bug:

    http://bugs.Adobe.com/jira/browse/SDK-26147

    I am load request from another team via SWFLoader in my own application.  For various reasons, I must use the loadForCompatibility flag and set the value to true.  I noticed that ALL the spark DropDownList in the sub-application offset cases loaded their menus incorrectly.  Since my application has a header, the pulldowns are vertical offset of the height of the header. Versions of the MX ComboBox in an application under test do not have this problem.

    I tried to add the line:

    -includes = mx.managers.systemClasses.MarshallingSupport

    and

    -includes += mx.managers.systemClasses.MarshallingSupport

    for options to the compiler to my Application, but it has no effect.

    I also noticed, when you try to write an import statement, that MarshallingSupport does not yet exist.  I use FlashBuilder 4.

    There is no work around for this?  I'm doing something wrong?  Why should it be? Tell the other team spend all their s:DropDownList to mx:ComboBox is going to be expensive to say the least.  It will also be a lot of your time because the APIs are different.  I really hope there is something I can do to solve this problem.  Please tell me that I'm doing it wrong.

    In the code, you will see a section called

    You will also need to create an as3 class that extends PopUpAnchor. In this class, you must override the calculatePopUpPosition function. Here is the code I used, I hope it's useful for you:

              override protected function calculatePopUpPosition():Point

                        {

  • formatting characters advanced disabled?

    I use InDesign CS3 on my mac without problem.

    Recently a colleague on a pc, try using InDesign CS 5.5, but that he had a problem with character styles.

    He wants to set up a character with a specified vertical offset style, but the majority of the settings in the advanced Panel of the characters of the character style sheet Formats have been disabled (gray and uneditable). For example, 'Horizontal ladder', 'Vertical', 'Baseline-shift' and 'Skew' could not be set.  Notably, the language menu was available, but does not appear to affect others.

    I tried to create a new document, set up a new block of text and saw a similar question.  Change language in this Panel and replace the font Myriad do not seem to change this behavior.

    Is there some requirement for Windows or CS 5.5 that may affect this?  (IE, a dependency on what type of font is used, etc.?)

  • Problem exporting graphics in format XML - dpi vs. impsize

    Hello

    FM 7.2b128, XML export using schema.

    I had a structured application that I used for a while which exports an attribute impsize (what I want) and does not export the dpi. Read/write rule is:

    element 'image '.
    {
    is the graphic element of fm;
    attribute 'impsize' is fm property import size;
    attribute 'impby' is fm property import by reference or by copy.
    attribute 'sideways' is the property of fm on the side;
    attribute 'impang' is fm property import angle;
    the 'x_offset' attribute is fm horizontal offset property;
    the 'decalage_y' attribute is fm vertical offset property;
    "position" attribute is fm position property;
    "align" attribute is fm alignment property;
    attribute "cropped" is property of fm cropped;
    "float" attribute is the property of floating fm;
    the "width" attribute is fm width of property;
    the 'height' attribute is fm height of property;
    the attribute 'angle' is the angle of fm of property;
    the attribute 'nsoffset' is fm offset to one side;
    }

    However, I made a few updates to schema/ESD and other changes and suddenly is exported is more impsize, only dpi. I can't understand anything I could changed to cause this to happen. In literature, he suggests that I should put in rule "specifies the size as", so I did, but I still can't impsize back unless I put in a rule to drop the dpi, such as:

    element 'image '.
    {
    is the graphic element of fm;
    default of facet writer
    {
    specify the size inside;
    }

    attribute 'impsize' is fm property import size;
    "IPR" attribute drop;
    attribute 'impby' is fm property import by reference or by copy.
    attribute 'sideways' is the property of fm on the side;
    attribute 'impang' is fm property import angle;
    the 'x_offset' attribute is fm horizontal offset property;
    the 'decalage_y' attribute is fm vertical offset property;
    "position" attribute is fm position property;
    "align" attribute is fm alignment property;
    attribute "cropped" is property of fm cropped;
    "float" attribute is the property of floating fm;
    the "width" attribute is fm width of property;
    the 'height' attribute is fm height of property;
    the attribute 'angle' is the angle of fm of property;
    the attribute 'nsoffset' is fm offset to one side;
    }

    So it works, but is it the right way to do it?  Did I just get lucky until impsize has been exported instead of dpi?

    Thank you

    Russ

    Hi Russ,

    Long time since we talked last time.

    If I myself remember well (have not worked with 7.2 for awhile), the writing mechanism attribute is also related to dtd definitions when there are alternatives. As with the entity reference or a file, fm watched the dtd and attr entity declared, which used there. Because the dpi and impsize cannot coexist, you must use rules of r/w to select that one gets written out so the dtd (and I suppose that the same thing happens with schema) defines both.

    (Not sure..), it could be that this dpi has a priority higher than impsize, so if the two are declared fm use dpi unless r/w says of the drop.

    I would say that you're doing the right thing here.

    See you soon,.

  • OR-SCOPE Soft Front Panel errors

    I can't capture a square wave 10 kHz using NOR-SCOPE FPS.  The error that I get for the manual config and auto-setup is-200580 requested is not a valid Vertical offset.

    Max test panel can capture the signal without errors.

    My setup is PXI-5154 Slot3, chassis PXI-1031DC, Windows Vista, LabVIEW 2009, MAX 4.6.0f1.  Entry test square wave 10 kHz, 4Vp - p connected to Ch0 BNC 5154.

    Hi bmann,.

    What is the descriptor of the resource able & Automation Explorer (MAX) for this device?  Is it the same as other devices that were previously on your system?

    The 5154 can't stand the vertical offset, but other devices (for example the 5152) support vertical offset.  The NO-SCOPE Soft Front Panel (SFP) will use the resources descriptor to identify devices.  If no configuration is not found for a device with a particular resource descriptor, then the FPS will run an automatic configuration on the device.  However, if the FPS is a previous corresponding configuration with the same resource descriptor, it will attempt to use this same configuration.  This is where I believe you can receive the error.

    If you have a 5152, you can check the "vertical offset" parameter in the "Device setup" window - looks like this is the setting that attempts to commit to the 5154 the SFP and the NOR-SCOPE driver is throwing this error.  For a 5152, this parameter should appear, but the 5154 this setting should not appear.

    Could you try to re - appoint the device in your system for something unique?

    Let me know if it helps.  If not, it could be another question - let me know what version of the driver NOR-SCOPE you have installed if this is the case.

  • VirtualBench

    Hello. I just got the Virtualbench and it has not evaluated with labview 2014.

    For my system, when it is to the current around 6uA, sleep. On the asset, it attracts around 12mA. A multimeter using normal, it could be measured

    Download the standard VI DMM of OR to test the feature.

    Connect the virtual bench on the terminals of 100mA, because the measured current is lower than 12mA.

    When the system is in standby mode, the VI reads consumption at rest as according

    However, when the system turns on, it keeps displaying NAN and also the error message on over-range

    Had attempted to remove the constant TRUE of the measuring range to configure DMM (VI) and feedingstuffs in digital constant 0.01, 0.1, he just posted the same question. Was even trying to feed constantly from 1 to 10 just to check the effect but it post the same question.

    Grateful if you can give some insights on why is it so

    This could be the noise in the environment since the terminals of the DMM are not shielded for noise. VirtualBench application has an offset function offset zero in the menu of the corner which allows the instrument noise.

  • floating signal with a time dependent thresholding

    Hi all

    I have a floating signals that need a time threshold function. For example, if the signal to pass more than 0.2 V in less than a second then an alarm is set otherwise the base line and if the signal from 0, 2V in more than one second and then alarm stays off and vertical offset. I tried different techniques such as the spreading of the signal and deducting his originals, but nothing seems to work I also tried to set a delay time, but all of the channel of the instrument are then delayed even if created in a Subvi. could someone help me please?

    Thanks in advance

    Frédéric.

    Hi Fred,.

    I have re-written the buffer circular for you and also written a small code demo showing how to find the max and min and an alarm is that is greater than or equal to a trigger point:

    Circular buffer 2, this time I do not turn the buffer but just increment an index and clock this more when the buffer is full.

    Here is a small demo vi showing how to raise an alarm if the difference of the maximum and minimum value is equal to or greater, then a trigger point.

    With regard to the circular buffer 2 I pulled out the current index value. This is where you need to go through the buffer sometime running during the first to the last command. You can use this value to index as your starting point.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi everyone - had my storm for about a week without problems, and then sddenly for some reason, the only view I can get to my e-mail applications is vertical.  When I turn the horizontal storm, nothing happens.  What is really strange is that I can get the horizontal display with all my other apps - but not with the e-mail.  Maybe somehow lock the vertical display in place?  I hate it.

    Any ideas on how I can get the storm to display horizontally in my e-mail applications.
