Application runs slow after deployment

With the help of JDev 11.1.1.6

I have developed a fairly broad application using business components based on tables of Oracle database and it works very well in the IDE.

The application has many pages.  Each page queries the database when the page is loaded.  The deployed application runs very slowly when you query the database for the first time.

I checked the database session and it's not slow it down.

Are there things I can do to improve performance?

Are there available diagnistic tools that can pin-point where the downturn occurs?

Thank you

Raymond

Additional information: the application is using page fragments and dynamic flow for navigation task.  Most of the time is between the time you click on the link and the time that the page is traversed.

It is a normal behavior. By default, Weblogic compiles JSPs on their first use, which takes a while. If you want to precompile JSP pages to deploy in time, you must add the following to weblogic.xml application descriptor:

    Hi Tony,.

You can try the following steps and check.

    Method 1:

You can try to run the performance fix and check.

  • TestStand performance is slow after deployment.

    Hello.
We have created a TestStand sequence using labview mainly vi code modules. The test sequence is over and is running as it should be in the sequence editor.
After that I used the Deploument tool to build an image that could be moved a production PC, something went wrong. The test sequence always starts and it looks good, but enforcement is extremely slow!
It doesn't matter if I run on the production of PC or on my computer (where the sequence has been created). I can run the sequence of the location of development and everything is ok, I then close the sequence and load it from the situation created by the deployment tool and it runs slow...
It's not because the speed of tracing is set to slow down, and it seems to be the vi "s themselves that run slowly. Almost as if "highlight the execution" is on.

    Any idea what's going on...?

    Best regards
    Stephan.

Hello Anand and thank you for your response.

I just find the answer to my problem yesterday.

We have a vi logger that is used during the development and debugging, and it is meant to be disabled afetr the build - it wasn't.

The logging feature uses a VI server that it has not found after the build and then exceeded several times - causing the slowdown.

  • Windos XP and Internet Explorer runs slow after turning to...

I really hope that someone can help me that the Forums have proved useful to me in the past.  This is my last issue.

One of my parents, for reasons that I won't, get updated his cable, phone and internet in one of these beams that offers local, rather than paying for phone company each separately.  She has an office of older model PC that runs Windows XP and worked it, Office 2003 (if the memories are good) and Internet Explorer (I mean IE8) very well and quickly.

After its upgrade of the high-speed line was complete one of the first things I did was to go to Microsoft to download a bunch of updates as it had been on dial until it was impossible to download everything that she needed (she had not kept with it but also rarely used the computer to get on the net so it was not that big a deal).  All XP downloaded approximately 77 updates and after a while successfully installed all of them.  He then restarted and soon after started incredibly slow operation.

Because it runs more slowly now that when she was on the dial upwards, she is ready to get rid of its highspeed which I said.  I think that one or more of 77 more updates, I installed may have done something.  Also his internet browser now looks like my laptop (Acer with Vista and IE 9) so I think that maybe his version of XP and IE do not play nice with them.  Finally something told me she had a Trojan horse, and some adware that I used Lavasoft to get rid of and their last free version is installed with moy.

Any help would be appreciated to untangle what is causing his PC suddenly run slow.  I'm tempted to use a restore point and go back, but I'm not sure how to go (and really, I've never used a prior restore point).  I'm half tempted to simply restore the entire hard drive but would have a copy of XP (I don't have a copy of Windows 98 that I some how came in possession of CD).

    Help, please!

In any case try check the energy saving settings and the use of the processor to maximum power. Check also running a process in the Task Manager and stop all unnecessary processes running. Don't forget that antivir application doesn t do any disk HARD analysis in the background.

  • Computer running slow after the removal of McAfee.

A few months ago, I removed McAfee from my computer (windows vista). Since then, he has really slow, constantly "not responding" and takes about two hours to get on the same page (before crashing again). Initially, I removed the program via the control panel. When I look at the performance data, I've got a base score of 3. The report of health system tells me that the beginning we is slow because of 'on-access scanner service', "mcshield.exe file name." I tried the selective startup options, try turning it off, but I can't find the program.

I have tried everything I can think of, even to reinstall windows to correct the problem. Nothing solves the problem. It all started after clearing the cache of the browser. My laptop came with Vista pre-installed, and I ordered the "free" Windows 7 upgrade.

I play a game called civilization 3, which I installed with Vista and it worked fine.
Now I have upgraded Vista to Windows 7 and the game still works fine, but the graphics have slowed down considerably.

My system has the ATI mobility Radeon HD 4650 videocard and I already checked if there was a new driver.

    Can anyone helpme here?

    Thanx.

    Hello

As far as I know, you can find the latest graphics card driver on the European driver Toshiba page. It s the most recent which is available for this model of laptop and the graphics card.

But to be honest, the 3 civilizations is not a powerful game that would need a strong graphics card and so I doubt that this could be a graphics card problem.

What version of Windows 7 you are using? Is it a 64 bit version?
Maybe civilization 3 is not fully tested and compatible with Win 7.

OK I am trying to get my computer to run faster and the Windows Help and support told me stuff to do. The things that I was told to do was go to my windows defender and disable programs that start as soon as I turn on my laptop. Hi StormieAiken,

Disable Windows Defender startup items does not affect the use of the programs.

You can always access it by clicking on the start menu, and later pointing to the program.

How to disable programs that run when you start Windows XP Home Edition or Windows Vista

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/270035

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

  • CS5 running slow after 15 minutes of use. low yield

I have done research on this problem for a few months and tried to find a solution online. I have validated my fonts, erased my money of fonts, adjusted my performance settings, turned off openGL, I'm not under plugins except those from Adobe (optionally Multiplugin) as recommended in the doc of optimization.  PS CS5 works in 64 bits, I started my iMac Core 32-bit and 64-bit kernel with no difference. I have no idea what I may be wrong cause PS CS5 to slow to a crawl.

I work with around 200 to 500 MB and 20-40 layers psd files. When I first open photoshop my efficiancy says his 95-100%, as soon as I started working for more than 15 minutes about it slows down and my efficiancy will increase to 55%. I also got an error about 50% of the time when I try to "horizontal flip of the canvas".

I find myself closing and reopening photoshop every 45 minutes, which is a huge waste of time.

Here is the info on my system:

    iMac11, 1
    Processor name: Intel Core i5
    Processor speed: of 2.66 GHz
    Number of processors: 1
    Total number of Cores: 4
(By heart) L2 cache: 256 KB
    L3 Cache: 8 MB
    Memory: 8 GB
Processor speed of interconnection: 4.8 GT/s

Chipset model: ATI Radeon HD 4850
    Type: GPU
    Bus: PCIe
The PCIe track width: x 16
    VRAM (Total): 512 MB
    Seller: ATI (0 x 1002)

    The system version: Mac OS X 10.6.5 (10 H 574)
    Kernel version: 10.5.0 Darwin
    Boot volume: Macintosh HD
    Boot Mode: Normal
The secure virtual memory: not enabled
    64-bit kernel and Extensions: Yes

Here is the info on my installation of CS5:

    Memory usage:

    Available RAM: 7536 mb

Allow to use photoshop: 7000 92% (I changed the lower and upper without help)

    History States: 10

    Cache levels: 2

Tile cache size: 1 024 KB

OpenGL: On, Basic, vertical sync and Anti Alias unchecked. (I got this off the coast, but it did not help either)

I use my boot drive primary Mac as the drive of my work, I know that maybe it's not the best but what I prepare 1) this should not affect my performance 2) a firewire drive wouldn't be more fast 3) should not have caused to slow down over time.

I also use a Wacom Intuous 3 with the most recent software update.

Please let me know if would help more information, I can copy and paste my entire photoshop system information file. Let me know any additional information you may need.

    Thank you!

    Sharon

I work with Sharon. I think it's maybe because she has * all * the optional extension plug-ins installed.

I will work with her to remove them and restore preferences to get her back to a State of 'good '.
