  Some applications will always be running in the background. These are Messages, phone, BlackBerry Messenger, browser, homescreen. Since I have updated my OS earlier I also noticed that Visual Voicemail is still running too.

  You need to maybe just refresh the data in the app world. Inside of App World, hold the ALT key and type rstrst

  This should bring all your apps back to My World.

  KB28294-app is listed as uninstalled in the BlackBerry App world, once an update is complete...

  App compatibility is a question of specific device model number, OS level, carrier and country. Every application developer should port their application to all combinations of those they choose to support... it's a lot of Portage, so many developers simply choose not to support all and rather choose some subsets they will support.

  But it's the applications developers who make those choices. So if there are specific applications you want, your application would be best directed to the application developer to know if/when they will support your specific configuration. You can always find the contact information for developers on the catalog page AppWorld (best found using PC/browser and not being NOT connected to your BB ID).

  Is their an option to use that will let me know what the app running in the background, i.e. applications 3rd party, GPS, so now...  I feel the battery use incompatible with the use of compatible phones. I know how to check each of them separately... But was wondering if I can see in 1 list which is running and what does not work...

  The app selector will show you the apps that are always included in the list of the app switch or running. Touch the BB and you will get a pop-up window of the maneuver of the app. Some may not be closed, 3rd party applications generally do not fall in this area, however.

  There is no way to bulk update, but you do not have to restart after each application! You can just click "Restart later" when it asks you. So you can update each other, and once finished, BB App World, press menu and tap on reboot!

• Applications on BB Curve blackBerry Smartphones

  I downloaded three apps and can not find them.  I see them in my list of application - where I can adjust the settings.  They are not on my desktop or in any folder on my desktop.  I have a mini SD card and do not know how to get in to see if they are there.  Before, new applications still show on my desktop.  I searched the forums, but all say check download folder and I don't have that either.  Thanks for any help!

  Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't work.  I'll share what does not work well in case someone else has the same problem.  I had to reset the default settings of the theme I was using, or set up a new theme.  Of course, I had changed the parameters enough to not show the new downloaded applications, even when I chose to just show.

  In my opinion # Workaround seems to be a little hard.  So I prefer you should first try to reinstall the BlackBerry Messenger application and see if it helps with your current problem.

  To make your homescreen go to Options > device > application > locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from this list.

  Please uninstall AppWorld options > device > application management.

  Scroll down to BlackBerry AppWorld > delete.
