  I have this problem:

  I installed creative cloud app for Mac months ago, so I downloaded and successfully installed PS, I, ID, DW, FW and Acrobat.

  At the beginning, I received all the update without problem... and then, a month ago all the apps look constantly updated, without downloading anything.

  I'm not getting updated.

  When (this month) I received an email from Adobe with the announcement of new features added in PS / HAVE / Acrobat, I looked in my version and none of the updates seem to be installed (for example: corners to live in artificial intelligence).

  BUT all the upgraded applications.

  Strange thing, but to the workaround to upgrade:

  (1) I closed CC app Manager

  (2) I uninstalled PS and AI and Acrobat (using app unistaller in their folder)

  At this point, all applications seem to be listed in the app Manager CC as already installed and updated... but they are actually UNINSTALLED.

  And, since they are "settled", I can not even download this apps.

  I try to uninstall and reinstall CC App and restart the computer. Same thing. All uninstalled applications look installed.

  Very likely. This includes your Hibernate file, if there is one, your pagefile, and (I think) the Restore Points.

  You have a single hard drive? If so, how much is spread over it? If only a C: partition, how big is it and how much space you have?

  Deleting files (unless the hard drive is almost completely filled) won't help your performance. After the back if you need advice.

  I had to wipe my hard drive to the Mac and to restore from my Time Machine backup because of the problems I had. Even if I restored it Time machine, my adobe applications have been installed on my computer. I'm about a week into a one month trial membership. I went online and reinstalled Adobe Application Manager. That is to say my programs are up to date, but they are no where on my computer. It won't let me not re - download from the internet either. I think he still thinks that they are on my computer.

  Nevermind I fixed it by erasing my hard drive again and restore the original operating system without my Time Machine backup restore.

  I just figured this out...

  I called the 1-866-230-0560 Option 3 Volume licenses and talked to someone who searched under the name of the school in order to locate licenses. It is even searched under our zip code and found other licenses that have been purchased by the school where the dealer abbreviated the name of the school.

  I hope that this is useful information to others in the same situation.

  I read that global vars in Photoshop are only kept in memory, if they are defined in a startup script, but I found that the App Start '/ntfy' event does not seem to be considered a startup script in this sense. Experimenting on my PC, I found that a global variable defined in a script that is defined in the user interface Manager Script events to run at startup of the App doesn't stay in memory. (This sentence is so long sorry).

  The other method of startup scripts, put a script in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Startup CS6\Adobe of scripting Photoshop, does not work for me.  The directory did not exist, so I did and put a simple script (var statements and an alert() order) inside.  The simple script never ran because the alert window never popped up and the variables were never defined.

  Even if you run the 64-bit version of Photoshop startup files are in the Program Files (x 86) tree. Perform a search in Windows Explorer for photoshop.jsx to find the exact path of the folder.

  But rather than use variables overall, I would say, you store the data you need in customOptions.
