Applying the criteria for the view of life

Hello

I have table on my page is to link to a view object. On this VO I applied a few criteria view with literal values (no bind variable). VC are marked as "query automatically. How can run these VC performance via CommandLink and show them in the table. I expose some actions in AM?

Concerning
Tadej

Hello

I create a method in the ApplicationModule, it would expose the page and run it with the commandLink.
In the method, you can get and manipulate the criteria and run the viewObject.

        ViewCriteria v = getViewObject().getViewCriteria("CriteriaName");
        // SET the values if you need to search with new values
        getViewObject().applyViewCriteria(vc);
        getViewObject().executeQuery();

Is that what you wanted?

Gabriel.

  • Apply the criteria of the selected table view

    Hello everyone,

    I use JDev version 11.1.2.3

    I'm in a situation in which im using two different VO to display 2 different tables. The only difference between them is that in the second I inserted a clause where clause (to limit the rows resulting). I wanted to know if there is a way to create a single VO and apply the filter just for a table. I thought it would be easy using the view criteria. So I created one and it fell in a table on the same page where the first table is. The problem is that the filter is applied to both of them.

    Help, please.

    Regards and thanks in advance!

    I guess that https://forums.oracle.com/people/AlejandroTLanz meant that you apply declarative view criteria in the data model directly and not by a bean method.  For this purpose in the data of the module of the application model, you click the button Edit in the upper right corner with the marked filetedVO. In the next dialog box, you mix the display criteria to the right and save your work. Now when you use this vo view criteria will be executed.

    A question remains, your view criteria there need parameter work?

  • applying the criteria of bind views

    I have a seemingly simple question, but my search for an answer has been futile so far.

    I have a view object, and I would like to link it using two different values in the view criteria.

    For example, at the top of the page I want to display the data in the view object where irCode = 'P '. Below, I want to display the data where irCode! = « P ».

    I've seen the criteria defined for this attribute using a variable binding, but I do not see where to put the value of this variable to link on the links page.

    Did I ask for possible? The work is to have 2 almost identical view objects, each with the irCode located in the place where clause.

    Thank you all for all the ideas.

    You don't have to create two VO definitions. Follow these steps instead:
    (1) do not put any requirement about "irCode" in the WHERE clause, but create two criteria of VO view named (one for 'irCode = 'P' ' and one for 'irCode! = « P » ») ;
    (2) open the dialog model data ApplicationModule and adds two instances of VO (based on this definition of VO);
    (3) select the 1st instance VO in the AM data model and click on the button 'change... '. ». Apply 1 VO criteria (the one of "irCode = 'P');
    (4) select 2nd instance VO in the AM data model and click on the button 'change... '. ». Apply the 2nd criterion of VO ('irCode! = « P »).

    In this way, you will have a single VO definition but AOS will contain two VO instances with different criteria when running.

  • X 64 Vista - Home Premium SP2 - game Second Life-need to create 2 folders to destination AppData or separate directories for the Viewer 1.23 and 2.2 caches

    I'm not a developer or a tech: only second life 1.23 is loaded on the computer – no productivity software. I need to create 2 folders to separate destination (or directories) to the SL Viewer 1.23 and Viewer 2.2 caches.  Right now the 1.23 cache is stored in the folder AppData/Local.  When 2.2 is downloaded, it will not replace 1.23, but things & Stuff Blog of Nalates Wordpress (also a contributor to regular Forum SL) recommend to around 2.2 to another 'file' or 'directory' cache (before the opening of 2.2 for the 1st time) to prevent the inventory and avatar problems loading again (when I had 2.1 load on the computer with 1.23) when I switch using the Viewer 1.23 and Viewer 2.2.  I don't know how to do this, but reading the wiki in Second Life in caches that directed me to the website of Microsoft, it seems that I need to get/use one command Linkd.exe which is part of the Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools - but a note on the site of Microsoft for the Kit, under requirements of the States that the Kit is not supported supported on 64-bit platforms.  What to do please?  TY

    Hello

    a. go to the Preferences tab which displays your location of the cache.

    b. click on the 'Browse' (viewer 2.0) or the button "Set" (Viewer 1.23), create a new folder in a convenient (for example on your desktop) and select the folder to be your new location of the cache. Relog.

    c. This will give you a nice clean cache folder and do delete everything out of it easier in the future. If you use 3rd party clients, such as the Kirstens display, you might want to give them a separate folder, if they themselves (for example, Kirstens viewer uses "s20 C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Kirstens")

    The first thing that seems unfair, is that I don't know what version of jdev you use.

    If I ask a condition through my option of criteria of view vo it doesn't.

    and the image below, I do not understand. I see a view Definition of criteria dialog box but not when you apply the criteria.

    the third image shows the definition of criteria, but I don't see where you apply it to or source of dialogue.

  • Control null to a variable binding in the view criteria

    Hi, greetings.

    I use Jdeveloper 11.1.2.0.

    I have a view object, LocationsView, for the locations of the database of the tenth Board.

    I want to apply a condition, ((: bind_var is null) or (: bind_var is not null and location_id =: bind_var), in this LocationsView.)

    In other words, I want to apply the condition only if the value of the bind variable is not null.

    How can I build this condition using a declarative view criteria?

    Any help and advice on this topic is greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards
    Guru K

    It should work if you set the box on her "ignore Null values" when you set criteria.

  • Photo, what are the criteria for images selected from the collections of photos?

    With Photo on my Mac when I'm in the view "of the years', I see all my photos. When I switch to 'Moments' I see all the photos, especially older. When I go to "collections", then I self pictures? What are the criteria for images selected in 'collections' of photos? Thank you

    You should see all the photos in the Moments, the years, Collections, unless you have the "Summarize" option enabled in Photos > Preferences > General.  Then some pictures will be omitted, but the rules are not documented.

  • Criteria of programmatic view adding the date condition

    Hi all

    I use Jdev 12.1.3. I wrote a method in AMImpl to filter my viewobject based on custom search screen of the user interface.

    I create the criteria for the view programmatically. I have check SMSDate field in my VO date between the criteria in the field settings start date and end date.

    How to define this condition by programming

    ' Public Sub searchInfo (String attribut1, String fullname, startDate, endDate oracle.jbo.domain.Date oracle.jbo.domain.Date) {}

    ViewObjectImpl vo = getSmsInfoVO1();

    ViewCriteria vc = vo.createViewCriteria ();

    ViewCriteriaRow vcRow = vc.createViewCriteriaRow ();

    If (attribut1! = null & &! attribute1.isEmpty ()) {}

    vcRow.setAttribute ("attribut1", attribute1);

    vc.addRow (vcRow);

    }

    If (fullname! = null & &! fullname.isEmpty ()) {}

    vcRow.setAttribute ("full name", fullname);

    vc.addRow (vcRow);

    }

    Need a logic here set VO attribute SMSDate and check the date between the startDate and endDate parameters method

    vo.applyViewCriteria (vc);

    vo.executeQuery ();

    }

    Check this box:

    setOperator ("between")

  • Completion of the framework and the criteria for success in SCORM 2004

    I understand in SCORM 2004 to be able to specify performance criteria and success separately means that I can put a course so that it can be marked as completed without success if a user has taken but had "deferred success" (i.e. failed ) based on views of the slide or quiz status. It helps the instructor to distinguish completion of understanding / superficial deep commitment (assuming that the quiz is properly looking).

    So, I guess if I'm creating a course that is not a quiz, but I would point out if it was completed or not, I only need to define the criteria for completion in CP9. Is that correct, or should I set the end criteria and success to be the same (i.e. x % views of slide)? It might not make much difference, but I would like to know what is recommended.

    TIA

    You should always set these two criteria.  So use slide views would be wise.

  • issues while applying the criteria to display programmatically

    Hello

    When I call the method am second time (code below). The query of the VO does not appear where clause related to view the criteria. Again it worked as expected in the first call.

    I use Jdev 11.1.1.6. annd below is the code to reproduce the problem using employees Table(HR Schema).

    Code snippet:

    {} public void testammethod (String pDeptList)

    ViewObjectImpl employee = getEmployee();

    System.out.println ("\n\n***initial query is:" + employee.getQuery ());

    VariableValueManager evm = employee.ensureVariableManager ();

    evm.setVariableValue ("pDeptId", 10);

    ViewCriteria vc = employee.getViewCriteria("getEmployeesOfDept");

    employee.applyViewCriteria (vc);

    System.out.println ("\n\n*** first stroke - query is:" + employee.getQuery ());

    employee.clearViewCriterias ();

    }

    Instead of clearViewCriterias(), try with

    applyViewCriteria (null);

    clearViewCriterias() Désimpute and removes all the view criteria, also well applied and unapplied View Manager of criteria.

    This means that you can apply any criteria to view against the View object.

  • Problem with between operator in the view criteria

    Hello

    We have a requirement. In the view criteria, we have a Timestamp attribute. We use between operator , so we have two variable bind fromDate and up to date . The search works fine if I give to plu date fromDate but if the same date for the bind variable, it does not return all records in the table .

    Any solution to overcome this peoblem?

    KR

    KR,

    So are the timestamps fromDate and up-to-date? Are they fair dates, then they will be interpreted as midnight as-des-than-present, and unless your timestamp is from midnight, it would not be between them more. You can also set - Djbo.debugoutput = console in the properties of your project to see the SQL query running in the log window.

    I used once before RowMatch() and worked for me.
    Here is an example of the developer's guide. It is well worth a try by you.
    Good luck

    Example 42-14 Performing In-Memory Filtering with RowMatch

    // In TestClientRowMatch.java
    // 1. Query the full customer list
    ViewObject vo = am.findViewObject("CustomerList");
    vo.executeQuery();
    showRows(vo,"Initial database results");
    // 2. Mark odd-numbered rows selected by setting Selected = Boolean.TRUE
    markOddRowsAsSelected(vo);
    showRows(vo,"After marking odd rows selected");
    // 3. Use a RowMatch to subset row set to only those with Selected = true
    RowMatch rm = new RowMatch("Selected = true");
    vo.setRowMatch(rm);
    // Note: Only need to set SQL mode when not defined at design time
    vo.setQueryMode(ViewObject.QUERY_MODE_SCAN_VIEW_ROWS);
    vo.executeQuery();
    showRows(vo, "After in-memory filtering on only selected rows");
    // 5. Further subset rowset using more complicated RowMatch expression
    rm = new RowMatch("LastName = 'Popp' "+
                      "or (FirstName like 'A%' and LastName like 'K%')");
    vo.setRowMatch(rm);
    vo.executeQuery();
    showRows(vo,"After in-memory filtering with more complex expression");
    // 5. Remove RowMatch, set query mode back to database, requery to see full list
    vo.setRowMatch(null);
    vo.setQueryMode(ViewObject.QUERY_MODE_SCAN_DATABASE_TABLES);
    vo.executeQuery();
    showRows(vo,"After re-querying to see a full list again");

    Hello

    I don't think that you can vary the filters for different views in the same report.

    What you can try, it is use the (colname USING cond) filter to the measures and try to use 'calculated new items' and 'Hide Details' pivot to vary the results to the same columns in different points of articulation.
