Did you start Oracle services again? In this case, you will need to repeat the procedure I mentioned. Thanks to my experience stop services do not unlock some dll, so OPatch fails with error code 41. After the reboot run OPatch with administrator privileges.

http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=9622 and run it standalone.
However, when I try this, Windows Update Standalone install displays the message"this update does apply to your system."
I can live with that (if the message is actually true). But if if this patch does not apply to my system, then why Windows Update keep trying to install it as an update 'important '? How can I get off the list so that the Windows Update log is not cluttered with all of the failed attempts? Finally, I ran Windows Update Fixit tool available. He fixed a couple of things (default location, another minor config) but not this problem.
P.S. running BitDefender 2012 if it matters...
To answer my own question, you can reset the status of the following method KB2509997 8 download and rename the folder C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution. It would be nice if there was a less force brute to do this, because she loses all your update story and settings, but at least it works.

One of the most common causes of this error code is the Anti Virus and Anti Spyware software running on the computer.
You can try to disable them, and then try the updates again. Keep the firewall however.

I tried to upgrade to Windows 10. He went through the entire process, and after a reboot at the end he failed. He sent this message:
I searched in these conditions and could not find an answer. My machine is new. I have a lot on it did not install at all, thinking that it is better to wait until I got 10 Windows installed.
Any ideas?
"If you keep an open mind, life will give you more opportunities."No answers here. Was not able to get a lot of help in other places online either.
Finally, the "Get Windows 10" icon reappeared. Apparently, Microsoft is mind boggling distribution. I tried once more. It seemed to go further this time. But after an hour of treatment, I discovered that the system restored completely to 8.1. Who does. I'm done trying to upgrade.
Honestly, all I see now about 10 Windows, I don't see any good reason to spend. The missing "start orb" was an embarrassment, but I worked around it (shortcut keyboard is powerful, quick, so you can set "Programs" as part of Quick Launch toolbar"). It is easy to customize the interface of Windows 8.1, and it works reasonably fast without error. I'll wait for Windows 10 has had a good year of validation by others before making the move, even if I miss out on the "free" update

Hi all
I see an error when you perform P2V using converter 5.5.0 (an error occurred when opening a virtual disk. Make sure the converter server and source running machines have network access to the ESX/ESXi source and destination hosts).
Any suggestions are welcome.
Target is vCenter here and there host selected where ESX virtual machine gets created and then deleted.
Logs attached.

You must make sure the connection between the machine to be converted (aka the source machine) to destination ESX to port 902.

Windows updates fail with no error code
I reinstalled Windows as suggested, and it seems that updates are now mode as it should. I wish you to know how the virus was picked up. All my computers have the latest updates of security products.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
I wish you to know how the virus was picked up...
By your computer previous on the same wire, most likely because you do not have to completely remove the preinstalled Norton free version of evaluation BEFORE you upgrade Windows XP to Vista AND you installed McAfee Antivirus Plus AND BEFORE that you have installed the Vista updates everything (including the Service Packs & IE upgrades).
Chances are that the McAfee application ever installed or worked properly.

You are on 11.2.0.5 and the patch is available for versions 10.1.0.5 and 10.2.0.2 10.2.03 you do not need to apply this hotfix.
According to (ORA-600 [kwqicgpc:cursta] [139200.1 ID]), this bug is fixed in 10.2.0.4 If you're on 10.2.0.5 you don't need to apply this patch that is included in the version of your database.
Please log an SR for this error if (search tool error ORA-600/ORA-7445/ORA-700 [153788.1 ID]) does not help.
Thank you
Hussein
