  I wonder what people know in what concerns app approval times.  I introduced a native application of the PlayBook on 14 December and it has not been approved yet (he has no control of the special export or to one of these types of complications).  Recognizing, of course, the holiday season and also the rise to the BB10 launch impact of approval for applications PlayBook times.  But I think 2 weeks and counting seems to be a bit long (especially for the devs having to spend several months in the development of a native app and want to release to the market :-))

• How long to wait before contacting BB Devs on approval times?

  I presented two applications, one on March 12 and March 16.

  March 16, app (4Transit Thunder Bay) was approved on March 18, which was great.

  March 12 app (4Transit Toronto) always has a status of "New" on 26 March (two weeks today).

  Should I still be concerned at the time?

  I understand that the current backlog, you can be lucky or unhappy with your approval, but I thought that things were now back to normal?

  If in 3 weeks, you have not been approved, then I would contact someone.

• How long for approval?

  I have an app that the I presented on 25 February and I didn't update my submission status.  I think what could possibly delay it's legal problems with the help of 3rd party content.

  Is there a RIM rep or someone else who has 3rd party content that might be familiar with if this may delay the process, or if there is anything I can do on my end?

  I just want to continue to update this app after that the Playbook is out, will I have a problem every time and approvals take weeks?

  There are people waiting on the applications presented in January (like me) and I think one or two of December. And then there are people who have their application approved in 5 days. So, there is no number on how long he must do. But I doubt that these are legal issues.

  As after that the PlayBook is released, I am sure that approval times will be faster, because it won't be bogged down by so many people trying to get free game book. But even in this case I think the approval time is supposed to be around 10 days or more.

  I doubt that we will submit never the timesheet of your mobile application, because you see not the timesheet together from this interface and may not access the buckets, which a lot of people want to use (project bucket, bucket off project and no job bucket).  Currently, you can update activities, see the dashboard and give approvals.  If more people make suggestions and vote on other functions here (Primavera - PRIM (MOSC), that could change.

• Need help on setting up a notification for time pay a slowdown

  I am a beginner in PeopleSoft, and am looking for guidance.  We have recently upgraded to 9.2 9.0.  Delivery time is new for us and we want to make it work.  I am looking to set up a notification for the employee who entered in time is informed that access to his approving manager pushed the return time.  Currently, they see it only if they go back and look at their status recorded time.  We auto approve time recorded for managers only approving / growing time pay back.  I am new to the process of notification any suggestions will be welcomed.  Thank you in advance.

  I don't have a handy HCM environment, but I was checking the documentation and it seems a bit contradictory in this area. The chapter 'Understand the approval process in time and work' initially said.

  You should be able to verify by looking at setting transactions approval framework for the process of TLPayableTime. In the grid of events, find the Push Back event and check the grid of Notifications to see how it is configured.

  If the Participant's approval then the documentation is correct, and you could log a case with Oracle wonder why - if you can convince them it's a bug, so they can provide you with instructions on how to change it to the applicant.

  If the Participant is seeking, then you will need to examine the rest of the facility to see why notification is not produced.

• Contract HRMS, workflow approval - approval timestamp question is bad

  We have a problem in the system of contract HRMS... possibly as part of workflow.  When a contract is approved tables are updated with the correct time stamp, however when you navigate to the contract and view history approval, the timestamp shown here is exactly 3 hours behind the actual approval time.  I almost suspect something to do with time zones.  I am very new to peoplesoft!  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I posted what follows on the Windows Update area, but has been achieved here.

  I am running Vista and have reformatted and reinstalled three times in the last four or five months.  Whenever I installed, the pc works fine for a while then after a windows update, I don't know which, I start getting a lot of substantive activity on my hard drive.  This activity relates the mouse so much that sometimes it won't let me move it for 10 to 20 seconds.  Even with the keyboard.

  After each reinstallation, I load Vipre, to update and run a security analysis. Can I update Vista with each patch MS listed as critical or recommended before installing other software.  Now, all that is loaded is MS Office, Adobe Web Premium, Sony Ebook Library and some printer drivers.

  Manager tasks indicates little activity, 1-3% on each of the 4 hearts.  I restarted in safe mode, just to see if it might be something that takes over and I have the same problem in safe mode.  Lock the mouse and the hard disk activity.  Again, all the security scans show nothing other than a few cookies.

  I saw in other Councils there have been problems with either Windows Update has blocked upwards or with the MS .net framework installed.

  Someone has seen this before and if yes is there a solution that doesn't require a reformat and reinstall?

  Start - type in the search box-> find CMD in top - click right on - RUN AS ADMIN

  Start right click - Properties - tab Start - Menu button customize - check the RUN COMMAND - APPLY / OK

  Do not forget that the RUN command is not a high command so he could ask for UAC

• Port-A-Thon not reviewed app!

  Just to confirm, new submission to applications (initially) in the Port-a-Thon can still occur. The approval time is December 23. Which means that if your new layout is in (and approved) by App World before this date, then it still counts toward the Port-a-Thon.

  That being said, tomorrow we release the gold/OS SDK, so my recommendation for all new presentations would be repackaging/test with those and then submit. With the deadline extended on new presentations, which gives a bit of flexibility with the new tools.

  The important part is that on December 23 is the deadilne approval (i.e. App World must have approved it at that time), not the deadline "submitted". So send it back the sooner you, the better.
