• Why my app Apple News shows me Australian information when I am in the United Kingdom?

  Hi, I can't understand what is happening with my Apple News app. I like the service, but have recently begun to use the version of Google (which is not quite as nice) because Google shows me UK news and things interest me, while the Apple News app just keeps showing me news from Australia! As much as I love the Australia, I don't live there, have never lived here and I just want to see my UK - new base. Does anyone else have this problem? I started to notice through the guardian feed initially. I would like to get news on Australian politicians etc. and nothing on UK. I contacted the Guardian and they asked a few questions for developers, but they could not understand why. Now, I noticed that this isn't only the Guardian pet food, that's all. It's almost as if the news I am located in Australia. I use an iPhone with the latest iOS 6.

  Don't show them where? In the video application itself? Tab in iTunes purchased? If they are not downloaded, go to settings > videos > show iTunes purchases > on.

  Try to reset the App Store:

  Close the App Store completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the App Store preview pane until it disappears from the display. Then sign out of the iTunes Store (in the settings).

  Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  Then reconnect to the iTunes Store.

  Since the new iTunes when I plug my iPhone 6 (latest version of IOS) none of my apps in the right column show.  There is a small wheel that starts spinning but my 149 apps will not be displayed. The left side with all applications is perfectly.  This means that I can't move the autour apps because they will not be displayed - what am I missing or what could be the cause and how to fix this?  I can sync to my iPhone without problems of ants or errors.

  This seems to be a problem for some users. What is solved for me (finally) was re-launch of iTunes and reset the iPhone (including while it was connected via USB to the computer).

  To reset hold down the buttons Home and Power until you see the Apple logo (15 to 20 seconds).

  Also note that you can move icons app directly on the device. Top and hold the button until the icon wiggles, and then drag it to its new location.

• Photos app stopped to show images of shared folders

  My apps IdeaPad and EasyCrop save pictures in the shared documents folder. But the latest OS update 1.0.5 in my PlayBook does not show all pictures stored in shared folders.

  I tried to put in other shared folders (shared/photos) etc., but the photos app does not display all images saved from third-party applications.

  However, when Browse dialog opens to load the image, it displays all pictures stored in the shared folders.

  If you have a PlayBook with last update, can you please try EasyCrop or any other free image utility to save an image and try to view in photos app?

  Okay, I finally found what was wrong.

  The updated OS 1.0.5.2342 have some changes in the mapped file APIs.

  File.documentsDirectory and File.desktopDirectory now points to the same folder "documents" on real PlayBook device.

  The last API docs v1.0.1 is incorrect. File.desktopDirectory is assumed to point to the "root" of work-sharing files.

  My applications used File.documentsDirectory to save the images. But the app photos in previous versions was showing images in the documents folder as well. In the last update, it stopped showing images in the documents folder.

  Now I've just updated my application to use File.userDirectory which now points to the root of the working folder. And now I'm able to save to the shared folder / photos.

  Save the actions/pictures folder now shows in the photos app.

  I'm now confused if I should download new versions of my applications to use this mapping has changed or I should wait for RIM fix this bad mapping.

• Windows 8.1 RT Photos App (repeat slide show)

  Hi all

  As my original Surface RT does not much more, I decided to turn it into an observer of photo frames really expensive to play a slide show image indefinitely from my SkyDrive. My question is, where is the place to make the slideshow 'Repeat' in the 'Photos' of Microsoft application? It will be random photos during the presentation, but then when he showed at least once each photo, the slide show ends and I have to restart manually. How can I make the slideshow repeat forever?

• People app - how to show first name first in the list

  My people list to Outlook in a browser lists regularly my contacts last name, then first name such as: "Jones, Bob".

  My people on my pro Surface application does not seem to me to show the contacts in this way. Settings > options will allow me to order the list of contacts by last name, but I can't seem to find a way to also show the surname first as my site outlook.com.

  What makes it so difficult find names on long lists.

  Sorry, you can't make you show first.  You can order by as the name that you have found, but it will not appear first.  Don't forget to send your comments from the application (open the settings pane to do) to request this feature to add.

  In the meantime, you can always use your apps from more familiar contacts list, that you have used before you have Windows 8.  Maybe it's Outlook or something else, but what you used before will still work now.

• New app won't show 'my news'

  The 'News' bing app shows only 'sources '. So I can't add RSS - how to fix this? There is no 'Bing Daily', 'My News' or 'Vidéo' when I right-click.

• Creating cloud APP doesn't show up when I try to open it.

  I use 64 bit Windows 10. When I try to open the creative application of cloud, it does not appear. I tried to uninstall uninstaller from Adobe, but a message that the APP is running. I start Lightroom and Photoshop using the desktop shortcut to the exe file.  Without Visual access to the creative application of cloud, I'm not sure using the last update or have access to the cloud. This problem just started after I'm holiday Aug.23rd home so I do not know exactly when it happened, and why.   Is there a solution to this problem.

  I'm on a Windows computer and the creative Cloud app will show me ONLY "update available" (see screenshot). How can I get the menu bar with the home, Apps, active, community to appear buttons? The only options in the gear menu are preferences, help, PIN at the Notification area and leave. And preferences are greyed out.
