Apps in Itunes no longer updates display

Dear support,

Following the Itunes update to the current version (UK just in case its different elsewhere) the updates tab to update Apps no longer updates - shows even if they are listed on my iphone and Ipad - in short, there are updates available, but Itunes is not their display.

I have reinstalled Itunes (twice) - recheck the settings are unchanged but left with the download of updates by unit, rather than the ability to update via Itunes feed.

Any suggestion would be appreciated as I don't seem to be able to find solutions online.

Thank you in advance.

Try to connect to the iTunes Store and then sign back in.

BTW, I see updates in the store and I am in the United Kingdom.

  • Music/video Windows 8 app is no longer detect content iTunes after an update of nonsense

    Hello

Using Windows 8 since I got my first gen Surface Pro 128 GB. Due to the low built-in storage available (I went from a 500 GB SSHD to a 128 GB SSD), I decided to get a 64 GB MicroSD card and transfer my library downloads, music and videos on it. At first, it doesn't seem to work as Windows Media Player was not recognizing the MicroSD card correctly contents. That was solved by creating a mount point for my MicroSD to the root of my C: drive and settle the island and video libraries.
Everything worked as expected in Windows media player and the underground music and video apps. Then, after some unknown update (there were several Windows and subway applications between when the time I used the metro apps), I was no longer able to use apps metro play my iTunes audio/video AND no content were applications detecting music/videos that were not in my iTunes library. WTF has Microsoft done again?

Maybe I need to put modern apps as my default player for them to detect my content? Because it is similar to the beast move that Microsoft made to force users to keep that as their default browser (which does not affect me much); to use the metro to know version, you must set it as your default browser.

    Hello

Have you tried to create a VHD/XVHD on the MicroSD card and mount this virtual hard disk on your computer? This should solve the problems you should meet about memory 'external' vs local drivespace.

  • Why iTunes will sync no longer updates app on my iPad (and iPhone)?

In the last week or so (12.3.3.17 on Win7 x 64) iTunes stopped synchronization to update my iPad Air 2 and 6 s (both IOS 9.3.1). iPhone apps  The synchronization process starts and ends without error and no applications appear also need to updates in iTunes, but my iPad (and iPhone) still show applications that need to be updated.  In the past, download the updates on my PC in iTunes, followed by synchronization, might lead to the corresponding device, and the device would show she had more applications that need updates.  I can still update applications on devices without going through iTunes, but it is more convenient for me to go through iTunes.  Thank you.

  • Does not update IOS app on iTunes

Every morning, the first thing I do on my computer is updated on iTunes and update applications.   (The second thing I do is go to the podcasts - that show all as unsubscribed and manually update some who new podcasts and sometimes to say that I did not stop subscription).

I just tried to update my applications, only that she either fail to update 'Find My Friends' and 'Podcasts '.

    Here is the error message:

Find My Friends is available on iOS.

To get to find my friends, get on the App Store on your iOS device.

I don't want to get this message every day when I update all applications requiring an update!

I went to my IOS devices and found the app store app (I never use, preferring to do everything on iTunes on my Mac).   They had an application that requires an update - but it was not one or the other of these two applications.

What is going on?   Why iTunes says these applications need to day - but not update them?   Why my iDevices don't think these applications need to be updated?

    12.4.1.6, OSX 10.11.5 iTunes (15F34)

Since the introduction of Apple App clarified in iOS 9.2, update apps in iTunes, then their synchronization to your iDevice is more the way to update.

Similarrly, with Podcasts. If you want the new podcast episodes on your iDevice, Subscribe to them on your device.

    ------------

iOS 9.2 introduced "App thinning." This means that applications downloaded on your device directly contain only the code and necessary graphics on this particular device, requiring much less storage space. It is a good thing, but it means that the app on your device is not "universal" which makes it unfit for transfer to iTunes and potentially try to install from there to other devices.

Since the introduction of Apple App clarified in iOS 9.2, there is really no reason to keep copies of the app in iTunes. You can delete all the. Here are my longer explanation of the thinning App.

    ------

With iOS 9.2 you are more able to move applications from one device to iTunes. Apple now uses a system called thinning App. With her, when you download or update an application on a device, only the resources needed for that specific device are downloaded. What makes downloading faster and significantly smaller. But it also means that this exact version is useless to any other device, so there are transferred to iTunes. If you want it in iTunes, you need to download directly from the App Store (or set this is done automatically). Personally, I stopped to keep copies of the apps in iTunes - no reason wasting disk space. I can always re-download them from the store. The only exception is an old, but stil work app that is abandoned by its developer.

  • My apps don't download or update on the App Store, what to do?

    Hey!

My App Store is not automatically updated all the apps for a few weeks, even though I have the "update automatically" setting on. (And no, these updates don't require Wi - Fi update, my 4G mobile data should have been fine.) Now, it has got to the point where I can't update all apps even manually. I click the icon "update" and the circle of progress appears but doesn't begin to increase. It is just stuck. How can I fix?

I am also unable to download/install new applications. This happens with all applications I've tried to install isn't about specific app. I have rebooted my phone, checked my settings App Store and internet, disconnected and connected on my Apple ID. I also reset my network settings. I tried to download with a Wi - Fi connection and mobile data with applications that don't require Wi - Fi connection to intall. All several times and during the time period of a few days. I have no restrictions on.

When I click on the "install" button, it shows just the circle of progress without the mean square and it remains stuck with no progress. Sometimes the application displays a white icon on my home screen, but not every time. If so, I can not remove it directly but I can stop the 'installation' in the App Store that makes the white icon will eventually disappear. I have an application that has survived exceeded installation stage of the white icon, but got stuck on "pending". I can click on it, but nothing happens.

I have the software of the iPhone 6 and 9.3.1.

I am really desperate for a response, please.

Try going into settings > general > Restrictions > and make sure that iTunes Store, Apps install, delete the Apps and In - App purchases are all under the section allow. Try to install again.

If the above does not work:

Close the App Store completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the App Store preview pane until it disappears from the display. You may be able to pick up the tab App Store covering scribbles to the left.

Then sign out of the iTunes Store (in the settings).

Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Then reconnect to the iTunes Store.

If neither works you may have a corrupt system and would have to do a restore. I restore as a new and test the phone as the backup may be corrupted. Make sure to import all your photos and important data first. If the backup is corrupted, restore it will bring back the corruption.

Today, I downloaded a new iPhone App in

    iTunes [12.4.3.1]

    on a Macbook Pro [10.11.6]

who has several granted previously iPhone Apps, all updated and everything already works on my iPhone 5 [9.3.5] (Firmware 10.01.00).

Recently, via USB, attempts to sync-ing my iPhone work, however, the iPhone settings / window Apps in iTunes is completely gray, including "checked for the installation of new applications" just below the list of applications.

Download of news today is sitting there in the list with its play button "install", and with everything else, is not interactive. "

After reading a full restore of the iPhone has worked for others, I restored the iPhone with iTunes by selecting the option traded using my "iPhone name.

Now, all applications are absent from the iPhone and is not able to be loaded as they all remain still grayed out in iTunes under the iPhone settings / (summary, Apps, music / etc).

However, as it was previously, I'm still able to select manually in the music , the books and pictures, etc., and have such precisely Sync-ed with the iPhone currently.

Now, all applications have been restored to the iPhone including the new.

So, I am wanting to buy an app from iTunes, but I have not currently no credit card information associated with my account. The payment option has the value 'None '. If I put my credit card information and buy the app, I can change the option back to 'None' immediately or I have to wait a certain amount of time? Any help/information would be greatly appreciated.

You can change to any immediately as long as some other criteria.
